Wine Tasting:
There are now over 30 wineries within a half hour drive of Wenatchee. Many of these wineries are now producing award winning wines with a number of 90+ ratings from the Winespectator. A few of the wineries offer a weekend summer concert series of events. More than 1,000 acres planted in wine grapes comprise what is now known as the Columbia Cascades viticultural region. The house is awesome. Very clean and homey. We enjoyed the back yard it was quiet and secluded. The media room was fun to watch movies in together. The hot tub is protected from the wind and was clean and relaxing. Would stay there again. The listing was spot on everything was as described, location was great, close to town but out far enough to enjoy quail and other birds. I would recommend this property to everyone. Best restaurant was McGlinn's Pub if you like thai food have the "thai chicken pizza" it is to die for. Also the Cottage Inn and Applewood Grill had very good food and service. Thanks for a great get away.

We visited this beautiful vacation home on a girl's weekend away. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the layout was great for a big group, the linens were perfect and Shannon was excellent to deal with. The neighborhood is a short drive from the amenities, but the scenic location is absolutely worth the few extra minutes to get to downtown or the mall. This very well equipped home has a gorgeous backyard and I'm so very happy we chose it -- we will be back! Thank you for everything!

Our family stayed here while my husband went to a medical seminar for several days. The home is beautiful and clean. The manager was so good to work with! It was so fun to sit in the theater room and watch a movie on the big screen as a family. We enjoyed the walkway around the Wenatchee river - only 10 minutes away. One day we drove to Leavenworth and enjoyed the shops and another day we drove to Lake Chelan. It was a fun getaway! We'd definitely stay here again! Full 5 stars!

This house is REALLY nice. The kitchen is so big and we were able to have 5 of us cooking and entertaining all at the same time. The furnishings are not your average rental! We skiied 2 days at Mission Ridge and this makes a great base camp. I highly recommend this lovely house for 4 couples or a large family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Everything is high quality. The kitchen is well equipped. The home was constantly cosy. Our teenage boys naturally chose to stay in the bedroom with the huge move screen. It was a real bonus. We also loved the location high up on the hill with views of the mountains. Thank you Shannon for sharing your beautiful home.

Fun New Years weekend close to Mission Ridge

I stayed here with a group of friends over New Years weekend, and we really enjoyed our stay. The house is very nicely furnished and well maintained, with new appliances, a fully stocked kitchen (with spice rack and a lot of essentials,) and very comfortable beds. Additionally, there is a collection of board games and satellite TV. The sheets were not standard hotel sheets - they were nice sheets that stay with the house. The house overlooks a ravine with no other houses in the back, and you can see mountains in the skyline. This really gives the house a nice sense of privacy. Location is ok - there is about a 40 minute drive to the Mission Ridge Ski area, and about 15 minutes to downtown Wenatchee. The shopping area in East Wenatchee (Fred Meyer, Safeway, etc.) is about 5-10 minutes away. The bathroom situation can get a little tricky for a large group - there is a very large master bath (only accessible through the master bedroom) and a smaller bathroom for all of the other rooms. With up to 8 people using the smaller bathroom, it tends to get a little crowded. There were enough seats for everyone to sit down to eat when you combined the dining room table and bar seating area. The hot tub is a little smaller and could comfortably fit 4-5 people. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again.

I appreciated the accuracy of the listing and resposiveness of the Owner when making arrangements for our stay. The value was excellent. This home would also be great for guests with mobility issues. Highly recommended. This house was everything we'd hoped for -- well-maintained and appointed. It beautifully accommodated our Christmas getaway for two families, totaling six people, but could have nicely held ten. The floor plan flows nicely, offering large spaces for gathering and also quiet retreats in separate parts of the house. The home has a nice large kitchen that is well stocked with a good assortment of utensils and cookware. Ample countertops easily accommodate 3-4 cooks at one time plus onlookers at the breakfast bar. There is plenty of cupboard space for things we brought, and nice new appliances. Nice to have washer/dryer access too. Appreciated the wi-fi. Mattresses are super comfy and bed/bath linens very nice. Plenty of closet space in three bedrooms (no closet in media/bedroom). The media center was a hit. We loved the garage, which made loading/unloading a breeze. Hot tub was super. Adding lighting near the tub for evening use would help, as previously mentioned. We loved the views to the rolling hills, nice landscaping and proximity to Mission Ridge. (Not much snow for skiing Christmas 2011.) The clean, safe neighborhood was nice for evening strolls, viewing starry skies and Christmas lights. Looks like a great place to branch out from in the future, but we cacooned comfortably this trip.

This was an amazing house . very tastefully decorated with a beautiful master and kitchen. Perfect for famlilies, kids or couples. Only there needed to be a lighting of some sort by the outside hottub, which was also a great experience. Great price for such an awesome vacation home.
