This cozy 2600 square foot home is located on a private cul-de-sac in Elkhorn in the Twin Creeks area and has access to all the Elkhorn Amenities including hottub, sauna, steam room in the winter and tennis courts, 2 swimming pools in the summer and playgrounds. Views of Mt. Baldy and surounding mountains are enjoyed from the floor to ceiling windows on the main floor.
This serene setting is the perfect spot for year-round vacations. Surrounded by aspen trees and a private pond out back, enjoy fly fishing in your own backyard, pedal your bike to the bike path two blocks away and ride to the Harker Center swimming pool , to the town of Ketchum or just down to the Big Wood River and if you feel really ambitious we have ridden our bikes into Hailey (12 miles one way) for lunch. Step outside the front door and create new sledding trails on the quiet hill at the end of the street or throw on a pair of snow shoes or cross-country skiis and carve your own trails.
After a busy day of activity there is nothing like coming home and cooking a great dinner and gathering at the game table connected to the living room and enjoy a multitude of boardgames located in in the hutch. Kids can relax in Bedroom 3, it's own living area equipped with TV, XBOX, couch and bean bag chairs. Or get a roaring fire going in the rock fireplace, open a perfectly chilled bottle of wine from the wine cooler and enjoy your favorite movie on the large flat screen in the living room. Although there are not many movies in the house we enjoy going into town to the local video rental place and renting our favorite movies.
The main door leads into a long entry way with a tremendous amount of closet space and two 6' benches. It is the perfect place to remove and store your sports equipment. The garage is also the perfect place to store one car and larger sports equipment such as skis, bikes, etc. There is also a spare overflow refrigerator in the garage for beverages or anything else you might need. Once entering the main door, you will see a second door with stained glass windows on either side (web photo) and provides the entrance to the main part of the house. On this floor is the main living area (ceiling to floor windows with views), kitchen (including, granite counter tops, wine cooler, hardwood floors), laundry room, Guest room number 1, Main bathroom (shower only), and dining room with sliding glass door to balcony, overlooking pond.
Stairs in the center of house lead to guest Bedroom 2 (2 bunks) and guest Bedroom 3 (2 bunks, TV, XBOX, coach) and bathroom (shower only). From Bedroom 3 is a sliding glass door which leads to a small deck and also to the backyard and pond area. Finally, on this level is a suite style master bedroom with 48" flat screen TV, masterbath with tub and shower. From the master bedroom is a sliding door to deck with build in benches which leads to back yard and pond. Deck is equipped with patio furniture..

Beautiful home, nice quiet location in Elkhorn. Water feature on the back is peaceful. Lots of balconies. Slept my group of 10 girls easily. Very clean with nice decor choices. Plenty of space for all. Would totally come back - very reasonable price for amenities included. Owner is responsive and easy to work with.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

When we found out four of our athletes made the championships, we started scrambling to find lodging at Sun Valley. We could not have been happier renting this house. The nightly rate was incredibly reasonable and the house was beautiful. Everything was so well maintained. The best part was the bunk room where we had all of the kids sleep so the adults could have their own rooms. The owner was very responsive and we look forward to booking with her the next time we have a race at Sun Valley. It was only about a 10 minutes drive to the Warm Springs Lodge (just be careful not to speed!)Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a great home and for the price you can not beat it. Sometimes homes look good on VRBO but then are not as nice when you get there. This house is just the opposite. It is better than the pictures. You will not be disappointed. My therapy/physician team came to Sunvalley Idaho for a convention and rented out this place for five days. IT was amazing. It had everything you could ever want in a rental and some. It was very spacious,very clean and really well updated. Every room is very well taken care and upto date. The location is centralized to everything as well as the area has a great hot tub/sauna/steam room/ running trail and bike trails. If we would have bought snowshoes we could have snow shoed right out the back door. I would come back here in a heartbeat as well as the rest of my team would as well. Awesome house with recent renovations of the bathrooms and kitchen. Furniture, bedding and decor is also recent and beautifully done. The bedroom configuration and beds along with separate tv viewing area in the lower level works great for large groups and family reunions. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots/pans to accommodate large groups. It seems that the owner uses a maid and (maybe) a linen service, so quality and cleaniness was very good. Great location to River Run skiing and the bike/recreation trail system. Close to Sun Valley Resort and Elkhorn village. Our extended family spent 2 1/2 weeks in this great house in Sun Valley's Elkhorn Village during August 2012. We had a fantastic time. Our group varied in # from a low of 4 to a high of 12 and the house is perfect for a situation like this. It has a bunk room for 6 kids as well as a BR with a set of bunks in addition to a full bed, so you have a lot of flexibility. The house is in great shape - newly rennovated and very clean - and is stocked with literally everything you need. It's located in Elkhorn, so it's near 2 pools and tennis courts, it's on the free shuttle bus route (so leave your car) and it's on the bike path that connexts all of Sun Valley, Hailey, etc. It's an awesome set up and we had a great time in this house. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We stayed at the house for 4 days and really enjoyed our time. The house is very well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen and bathrooms are all newly renovated and the furnishings are new. There was plenty of room for everyone and the kids even had their own bunk room with T.V and video games. We biked along the bike path to Ketchum, went ice skating and bowling at the lodge, and went rock climbing at the YMCA. Our family and extended family fell in love with this beautifully decorated and spacious home. The grounds were natures picture perfect. The children fished in the pond and sat on the bridge barefooted; we entertained friends outside where the air was a perfect temperature and the scene around us magnificent. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with the latest applience features; the layout of the house was great for spreading out and making everyone happy.The house was well stocked with linnens; the beds were so comfortable throughout. We've never enjoyed a rental so much. This place was perfect for making memories together as a family.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed the weekend in this beautiful home and had a wonderful time there! The home is clean, comfortable, and spacious. We had 3 couples and 4 young children and there was plenty of room for everyone. We hope to come back sometime during the winter! Walking into this property was exactly as presented in the add. The house was spotless opon entry and everything you would need was there. About the owner: Two families own this home. The two wives have been best freinds since college. Both graduates from the University of Washington. We fell in love with this area on a Husky Winter Sports Trip, back in 1981. It wasn't hard to convince our husbands to buy a home here as they instantly fell in love with the area too. We are from the Seattle area and wish we could get over to Sun Valley and use our home more frequently. With work and kids it doesn't happen as often as we would like.
Why the Owner Chose Sun Valley:
My best friend Cindy does not love skiing as much as I do, but loved the summer sports, particulary the horseback riding and knowing that the Olympic rider Debbie McDonald had a training arena in Hailey sealed the deal for her. Our kids love all the acitivies, from skiing, fly fishing, snow mobiling, ice skating,. With the wide array of personalities I can honestly say, "There is literally something for everyone!"
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We are at the end of a cul-de-sac and it is very quiet. There are only 4 homes on the street and we very rarely ever see anyone. It is very private and we feel like we have our own private sledding hill, snow shoeing area and cross country area. Of course there's not many places which can claim to have their own private fish pond either. Having access to the Elkhorn amenities (hot tub, pool, sauna, steam room, and tennis) is nice too!
