We have nothing but great things to say about this rental experience. The place was impeccably clean, a great downstairs for cooking and hanging out at the same time. The kids loved the space and slept very well. It's perfect for 1 family with a few kids, or 2 small families. We're skiers so getting to Crystal was a breeze. We're hoping to rent again in the future.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

After years of spring skiing in Colorado we figured we'd try a traveling little further west. Although the conditions were a bit moist, we were able to get in a few good days and enjoy the best of Crystal Mountain. Our last day proved to be the finest and we were treated to clear skies and a perfect view of Mt Rainier. The cabin was everything the reviews and the owner Tom said it would be. It was clean, extremely well equipped and very comfortable. A guest couldn't ask for more. We would welcome the opportunity to visit this lovely home again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family had a wonderful 3-day weekend at this home! It was a great weekend from start to finish. The home was beautifully furnished, in excellent condition, and had plenty of ammenities. We started each sunny day up at Crystal Mountain skiing and ended each day in the hot tub, around the fire and enjoying the wonderful atmosphere. We even had the opportunity to see a moose walking through the neighborhood! The home was supplied with everything we needed and provided us a wonderful opportunity to have family meals, play games, watch a movie and more. We will be recommending this home to other family members and friends - it was wonderful!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I spent the long weekend at the cabin with my siblings who all came in from out of town to ski Crystal. We had such a great time being all together at the cabin, which was very cozy and roomy. The house is very nicely decorated, and has all the amenities one could need. Booking was very easy, and Tom, the owner was extremely responsive with all the questions I had going into the weekend. I highly recommend staying here.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Great house to rent. Has all amenities, just bring food. Had planned to snow ski at Crystal, but the three of us decided to just take it easy, read, watch TV & DVDs, and relax for 3 days. Loved looking out the expansive windows in living room...and watching a neighborhood lab go hopping by the windows every morning so he could look inside to see us...went outside twice to pet him and what a sweet dog! Also, a wonderful warm hot tub for even more relaxing. We did go out walking in the neighborhood each day...saw the herd of elk and a few straglers too...very nice quiet community. Although we didn't ski at Crystal we did go snowshoeing and to the Snorting Elk for drinks. Also, went to Naches tavern one night for an enjoyable dinner. We will definitely return to the rental and next time go snow skiing at Crystal. Will recommend to our hiking, skiing, snowmobiling friends. Thanks for the experience! Only wish that I could have shared the experience with my very well mannered Standard Poodle.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a fabulous stay over New Year's Eve. The cabin was very clean, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. We made good use of the kitchen, and were surprised to find a full spice rack. Also a great assortment of games and puzzles. Beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever experienced. The fence around the property kept the elk out of the yard, but we still had a nice view of the herd at least once a day as they passed through the neighbor's yard. Made for quite a memorable weekend. Oh, and we found a good sledding hill up Forest Road 75 near the cabin. If you go up the hill, maybe about a mile, there is a logging road heading down the hill on the right. Walk down the hill for some fun sledding adventures!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Our family gathered for Christmas at this well appointed home. The house was clean, well supplied, comfortable, and well suited to outdoor and indoor relaxation. The open floor plan, gas fireplace, comfortable beds, washer & dryer, proximity to Crystal Mountain skiing and well equipped kitchen made the week worry free and family-central each evening. The only item found wanting was a vegetable peeler so in the scope of must-haves this was miniscule. We had daily processions of elk and snowfall beauty right out of a Currier and Ives lithograph. We would not hesitate to rent this home again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The photos show a wonderful cabin, which it is. But the delightful discovery for us was games for kids, a kitchen with a great assortment of pans, bowls, utensils, movies galore and deliciously comfortable beds. The owner was very helpful and gracious. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The cabin was luxurious. It met or exceeded all of our expectations. We enjoyed being on Rainer's doorstep. The suggested hikes were prefect. We hiked in and around Rainer several times; we also drove the Spirit Lake. Directions were excellent. Cabin was very clean and well maintained. I would recommend this to anyone that wants the splendor of Rainer without and hassle.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This home is beautiful and well maintained. Our family enjoyed ourselves and did not want for anything while staying here - the home is very well stocked and the owner was attentive in all matters. I would seek this accommodation again, when in the area in the future visiting Mt. Rainier & Summit House Restaurant. I recommend it highly.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I took our two year old son and 3 month old daughter to spend some time with their granparents/uncles and expose them to the wonders of winter fun. The home has everything you could need and want just as if you owned the property and visited everyweekend. Great layout in the kitchen for cooking/preparing meals and serving the hungry skiers and snowboarders. Will def. look to stay again next winter.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was a great location for skiing at Crystal Mountain, and easy to find. The accommodations were perfect for our needs. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the hot tub was a super bonus! There were no surprises; it looked just like the photos. Tom answered our questions promptly, too. The Crystal Mountain parking pass was sure nice! Thanks so much! We would recommend this property to friends.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We could not have been happier with our cabin rental and could not have asked for a nicer place to stay. The homeowner,Tom, was incredibly helpful and informative. We arrived to a picturesque cabin that was warm, clean, and had every comfort of home. The kitchen had every pot, pan, and utensil we needed. We fell in love with the fireplace and the master bedroom in the loft was amazing. The community the cabin is in is well maintained and private, and we often forgot we weren't 100 miles away from any other person. The cabin worked out perfectly for just the two of us, but would be great for a family or group. The skiing at Crystal Mountain was fantastic, and we were very impressed with the entire resort, including the staff. It was an easy twenty minute drive there, and the road there is beautiful making it very enjoyable. Be sure to check out the Naches pub down the road, and say hello to the elk that inhabit the surrounding area. I couldn't recommend staying here more. Thank you so much for opening your cabin to us, Tom. We hope we can make it back one day!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I rented this cabin in the woods to celebrate our 10yr anniversary. We both have very high standards and this rental far exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment you walk in, you can tell right off that the owners take great care of the property. It is not overly "fancy" or anything, just an excellent mountain retreat in super shape inside and out. The hot tub was a nice way to relax after a long day hiking and taking in all the surrounding sights. The weather was fairly mild still considering it was the beginning of November during our stay. No snow for skiing, but perfect for hiking on a seemingly countless number of trails in close proximity to the cabin. Tom didn't hesitate to recommend places to go and see while we were there. We were both 1st timers to the area, and he proved to be a very valuable resource for our adventure. Communication throughout the whole process was flawless and much appreciated. I would recommend this wonderful property for anyone would wanted a place to get away from it all, but yet be close enough to town for supplies, etc. We even got to watch a small herd of wandering elk in the backyard while in the hot tub.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Greg, Thanks for wirting a review. Come back again, next time come in late july or Aug and I'll send you to beautiful alpine meadows full for wildflowers then on to high alpine lakes. Best. tcoan

This is a wonderfully equipped and extremely cozy getaway that I intend to return to again and again. From the gorgeous hand made river-rock fireplace and hearth to the full wall of picture windows to the forest--plentiful with elk grazing. The beds and linens are extremely comfy, there are plenty of games and DVD's and satellite TV for those blustery days around the fire. And the kitchen is wonderfully equipped with anything you could need for whatever style of cooking strikes your fancy. This place has a different flavor and lots to enjoy with every season, and we just love it there.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is truly a home away from home. As an elderly couple, we found this a delightful place to stay, hike, & spend time with grandchildren. We were there for the Fourth of July which proved to be a fun place to enjoy fireworks nearby. Formerly, we were skiers who use to rent condos at Crystal Mt. This home is a place for all seasons. As past condo owners ourselves, we know what special features it takes to give an excellent rating.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
