These luxury accommodations, approximately 1100 S.F. in size, are located in the Chateaux Condominiums on the 2nd floor facing the ski mountain. Log-style furniture, wood flooring, and stone fireplace create a warm comfortable atmosphere. There are wonderful views of the base lodge and the surrounding Elk Mountain Range from the condo, especially from the new deck off of the Living Area. The views are great in the evenings, as well, when you can watch the “cats” grooming the trails for the next morning by following the movement of their lights. And the sunrises in the mornings are gorgeous!
The condo's main living area has a rustic western feel, wood floors and after a COLD day of skiing, you can make a good old-fashioned REAL fire in the wood-burning fireplace (firewood is provided). And, of course you can catch your favorite shows, a movie, the news, music ... your choice ... on the provided TV (with cable), DVD/VCR player, and/or tuner (radio).
There's also a ski locker just outside the entry to the building convenient for storing your ski equipment if you'd rather not bring it inside the building.
Full-size dining room and tiled kitchen allow if you like doing some home cooking or just grabbing a quick breakfast. The kitchen is equipped to meet your needs including a crockpot, blender, crepe maker, waffle maker, and coffee grinder. And for eating in, the dining area (which adjoins the main living area) comfortably seats 8 and is furnished with a western-style table, chairs, and benches. If you have a larger party, three people can be accommodated at the adjacent eating counter.
The 3 bedrooms each have their own bathroom. It consists of a Master with a king size bed, a second bedroom with a queen bed and the 3rd bedroom with double size bunk beds and a single pullout. All three bedrooms are outfitted with 300 thread linens, plush towels, warm blankets and comforters. 2 of the Bedrooms also have and additional entrance from the hallway in the building to provide that extra privacy.
A full-sized washer and dryer are conveniently located in the hallway before you enter the unit. (No need to overpack!)
Additional firewood is stored in the first floor next to the stairs. Parking is available in front of the entrance to the building.
The exteriors of the buildings in the complex were completely renovated in 2008, with new and updated roofs, decks, siding, and windows installed. The hot tub and sauna are GREAT places to gather with family/friends after a day of skiing; it's definitely a part of the overall ski experience that WE look forward to! For your convenience, there is a small building, located next to the outdoor hot tub for showering and changing.
You can take a short walk to reach the ticket window and ski lifts … but the convenience of the complementary shuttle, which stops right next to our building every 15 to 20 minutes, makes that decision an easy one! And in the evenings, or on a day when you decide to take a break from skiing, you can take the shuttle to the base area and then pick up the town shuttle from there. There certainly are LOTS of great dining options and unique shops to be explored in the town of Crested Butte!
There is NO SMOKING in the condo, the building hallways or on the decks. Our association does not allow pets to accompany our guests. The residents in the area do appreciate observance of “Quiet Hours” after 10 p.m. No Pets are allowed.

We enjoyed a lovely summer weekend in Crested Butte for a special family event. Crested Butte is a charming town located in this breath-taking valley with panoramic views of the mountains. Our accommodations were perfect with each of the bedrooms having its own bath. A lot of our time at the condo was spent on the balcony enjoying the incredible views of the mountains and the mountain fresh air.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers.

We absolutely loved this condo! It far surpassed even what we had hoped for. Lots of room and 3 bathrooms made this a great place for a family reunion. And the view from the balcony was "manifique" We went during wild flower season and everything was awash with color. We hope to go back every year.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers.

We had a great time at the condo! The location couldn't be better. We walked to the mountain or caught the shuttle at the corner and it was only a short ride on the free shuttle into town. The layout is great - 3 bedrooms with lots of privacy and the living area in the middle. And having 3 bathrooms makes it easy to get up and out in the morning. The condo has everything you need - a fireplace, well-equipped kitchen and ski storage and it's really worth the price. We also enjoyed the hot tub and sauna for apres ski. We would definitely stay there again.
