With views of the majestic snowcapped Colorado Rockies, Elk House is an unforgettable retreat. Thoughtfully designed and built into the hillside, this ranch style home blends seamlessly into the stunning natural beauty surrounding it. The return guest list expands each year as it is perfect location for a peaceful get away or an action packed family reunion.
Separate wings of the house are organized around a great room area featuring a prominent, river rock, wood burning fireplace surrounded by comfortable seating; two eating areas, and an open kitchen complete the space. All four guest bedrooms have private baths, two have gas fireplaces.
One of the guest rooms sleeps 6 in three bunk beds. A cozy library/study/TV room contains a fold out couch and its own bathroom, which easily converts it into another sleeping room. The other three bedrooms are furnished as follows: master = queen, guestroom 2 = king or two twins, guestroom 3 w/ private exterior entrance = two twins. In total, this four bedroom home sleeps 14!
Other amenities include an indoor Jacuzzi with a view, a stereo sound system, wireless internet access, and wonderful outside spaces are perfect for entertaining with gas grill and an outdoor fireplace.

Very short and simple just wanted to say how much I appreciate good customer service as this property manager was very helpful to all my questions and concerns. Although I ended up having a large increase in my group at the last minute and having to find a different place to accommodate everybody I will definitely consider this property in the future. Thanks for all the time writing back on forth with me.Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We stayed this past weekend at the Elk House in Keystone and were absolutely wrapped in warmth and comfort. Because it's a ranch home - each bedroom is separate from the others with kitchen and living room in the center of it all. Fully stocked kitchen and lots of places to relax. The deck and surroundings are out of this world and the property managers were very helpful! I highly recommend this place if you really want to take a break from it all. We LOVE the Elk house & will be coming back soon!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
