  What an amazing vacation! We just returned from two weeks at this paradise. There were 6 of us (4 adults and two kids) staying but the house could easily accommodate 10 and still not feel crowded. The house was even nicer (and bigger) than the pictures suggest. I was a bit nervous that Pe'e road (in front) would be busy but it is not busy at (far more joggers than cars). The view from the house was also nicer than we had expected. I don't know how many times we saw whales playing out in the water and the sound of the waves crashing, especially at night, is very soothing! The kids spent hours and hours in the pool which was a nice size, with an unbelievable view and a nice temperature. The house is incredibly well stocked with everything you could possibly need, including a nice selection of beach toys/accessories. We found the Poipu area to be perfect for our family and Poipu beach/Brenakke beach was a pretty easy walk. Our 10 year old loved the waves at Brenakke and the snorkelling and our 5 year old loved the playground and protected waters of Poipu beach (we al loved getting ice cream at Brenakke's across the street)!. It is nice having all these options in such close proximity. The owners were responsive and easy to deal with and the house was clean and well cared for. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while exploring Kauai!

  Our VRBO rental was everything and more that we dreamed. The location was perfect. This house had all the amenities, and more, that it advertised. First class all the way. The infinity pool and views of the Pacific were amazing. We were entertained by the whales everyday. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with all a cook would want. We were able to walk to beaches, in either direction and walk to restaurants and shopping centers if you so chose. The owners gave us all info needed for an amazing vacation and were available to us if we needed anything at all. We look forward to returning to Kauai, with our boys, and staying at this amazing home again. I recommend this listing for families or great for couples traveling together (as we did)! MALOHA!!

  My husband and I rented this beautiful home for a week and we had a wonderful time. The home is gorgeous and the photos on the website accurately portray it. There wasn't anything lacking in the home for the owners have furnished it very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The kitchen was very large and functional if one chooses to cook. We loved the location of the home with it being in a quiet neighborhood. Yet, the home was within walking distance to the beach and major hotels. The pool and hot tub were lovely. We enjoyed watching the colorful birds land on the edge of the infinity pool for a drink of water. However the real treat was observing the numerous whales swim by offshore. The view from the home is outstanding. If we return to Kauai I would definitely see if this house was available to rent again. We enjoyed meeting the owners Mike and Laurie and they checked in with us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.

  My family and I stayed in this house (10 of us) for a week and had the time of our lives! The house was beautiful, clean and lived up to the pics and description in every way. The owners Laurie and Mike were very easy to deal with and their assistant Luis, who lived in Kauai locally, was very accomodating and knowledgable about the island. This place came with a price, but there's a good reason and it was well worth it. The pool and hot tub were fabulous and the walk to beaches was short. There were also bikes, surfboards, sand toys, etc... that could be used, which made it even better. All the bedrooms were very nice and the master bedroom was amazing. The 10 of us were more than confortable in this house. I'm really going to miss it! Especially falling asleep to the ocean everynight. Jeremy

  We had 10 people, ages 8 to 80, for a ten day long birthday celebration. One Son who is a chef fell in love with the kitchen accouterments which are outstanding! The home is ideally laid out so the young adults could hide in the media room when they got tired of spending the day in the pool and spa with the 8 and 10 year olds. The Infinity pool was new to us and it creates the appearance that the pool extends right out into the ocean. The walk to the beach is easy and we made good use of all beach equipment and toys available in the home.The dining room table easily accomidated all 10 of us for dinner. The furnishings thruout the home are absolutely first class. We had our best sleep in years in the comfortable beds and falling to sleep to the sound of the waves hitting the beach across the street. This location is ideal in that the drive to Lihue is easy for shopping and is stratigically located for easy access to all the numerous surrounding attractions.and venues. We have rented many vacation homes over the years but this one is the one our family voted as the best by far. This a home that we would definately rent again! . .

  Our family spent a wonderful week at this gorgeous home. Our grown children and small grandchildren had a blast. The hilight is the Infinity pool which overlooks the ocean. The location is fantastic,right in between the Grand Hyatt and Breneckie(Baby) beach.(a 5 - 8 minute walk to either) The house has everything you need, well kept and clean. The owners were great to work with and checked to make sure we had everything we needed, and available to answer any questions. All 10 of us will have memories forever. The house exceeded our expectations. My grandkids can't stop talking about seeing all the turtles just down the road. There are some great restaurants real close by and the house was great to cook and eat meals at as well. All the bedrooms are spacious, and the media room was a great place to kick back and watch some movies or play with the kids. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Kauai. We highly recommend this home for a vacation rental. ..........Mark

  Just a great house inside and out. Very comforatable inside and the view from the pool area is even more beautiful sitting on a lounge chair than looking at the picture on the website. Short walk to beach and Hyatt, close to good restaurants in Poipu beach and great location for going to ends of the island. Would recommend to anyone who asks and would return in a heartbeat.

  This property is even better than the photos and description! It's beautifully decorated with every amenity available--surf board ,boogie boards, bikes, floaties for the pool, well equipped kitchen ,tv's in every bedroom plus the big media room. The front of the house opens up to a big patio with many very nice lounge chairs, a spa we used every evening and an infinity pool. The owner and property manager both checked in within a couple of days to make sure we had no problems. I would recommend it for anyone and will look forward to renting it again.

  We (4 couples and 4 infants) had an amazing stay. We were discussing what we liked best about the house and the list went on and on. The house is big and beautiful with room for all 4 families to spread out when we needed some quiet, with a great communal area where it was easy to be together when we wanted to. The layout and flow of the house is perfect- the kitchen and dining room is large and open so we could easily all eat dinner together, or relax with drinks and talk with the people who were in the kitchen cooking. The pocket doors open up to the pool so even when you're indoors you feel like you are outdoors. We saw whales from the pool every day, and a rainbow too. The hot tub and infinity pool are ideal. The attention to detail in this house was great, everything is high end. It's an easy walk to a beautiful beach. The upstairs bedrooms and office also have amazing views and a large balcony to enjoy the views and beautiful weather. There's even a large soundproof media room which we used as a playroom for the babies. Plus, so many ammenities were on site that made the stay so fun- boogie boards, beach umbrellas, pack n plays, and kids toys. Thank you for letting us stay there, it was one of the most memorable vacations we've had and I hope to rent the house again in the future!

  We just spent a week at this home and we are already dreaming of returning. This home had everything any one could want. The rooms were tastefully decorated and the kitchen was unbelievable. We found ourselves never wanting to leave. Across the street was a path right to the ocean. From there we would walk along the ocean and in each direction either to Brennecke's beach or the Hyatt. I would recommend this property to any of our friends. Ron and Kris Klaas
