  This cabin is very nice, clean, cozy and well equipped. You are surrounded by Mother Nature. With the lack of light pollution, the star-gazing is great. The location is VERY convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway. With easy access to Boone, Valle Crucis, Todd, the Jeffersons and Blowing Rock. There is a grocery store just a few miles down Hwy 421 towards Boone. I'm really glad I chose this cabin. My 4 night stay was very relaxing and rejuvenating. The owner was very helpful, responsive, accommodating and easy to communicate with via email. I plan to visit again later this year.

  We have been visiting the mountains of NC for 5 years now and have stayed in multiple cabins, but this one is our favorite by far. The swings and trails around the cabin are great for a morning hike with the dogs and close to other great hikes off the Blue Ridge Parkway. We have stayed in Banner Elk, West Jefferson, and Banner Elk, but this is a perfect location if you are looking for great hikes and easy access to Boone. The cabin owner is great and we no longer will have to look for a cabin, this will be our choice for years to come. Many thanks to the owner who left welcome notes and recommendations of hikes that were around the area that they had enjoyed. We are looking forward to another visit soon.

  This cabin is lovely. It is the ultimate in a quite weekend getaway. Love the homey, comfy feel of this cabin. Nice and secluded, but only took us about 15 minutes to get into Boone -perfect location! Thanks for sharing this little slice of heaven with us. We plan a return visit!

  Absolutely fantastic cabin and wonderful proximity to Boone, West Jefferson and Blowing Rock. Nice hiking trails both around the cabin and on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Extremely well equipped with satellite television, internet service plus mostly new appliances. Great spot for a weekend get-a-way or a weeks vacation stay. We can't wait to go again.
