House is clean and spacious. We have 3 family, with 6 young kids. There are plenty of rooms for them to play and flat screen TV is a plus. The house is close to Stratton ski slope, about 10min drive, which is nice. The kitchen is well equiped. The hot tub is just outside of the house on the side, with a very nice view of the mountain. We love the hot tub after a long day of skiing. Owner was very helpful and easy to work with. He is very responsive. The hot tub had a little issue when we were there but owner notified us on the day of arrival & gave us specific instruction to use it. It still worked despite need to watch the temperature, so its ok. The house keeper also came and went over everything with us. Overall experience is great and if Strattion is where we plan to go again next year, this house will be on top of the list.Owner response: Rovy, thank you for the excellent review. The hot tub required a new circuit board which regulates its heat. We replaced the board and it now works perfectly.

We had a large group of 13 young professionals for a weekend ski trip and the house still felt very spacious! It's a beautiful and charming property, with a hot tub overlooking a gorgeous view of the mountains. The owner of the house was a pleasure to work with from the beginning to the end, and was quick and efficient in answering all our questions, even during the trip. Wonderful weekend here and we are definitely hoping to stay here again!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We rented this house for a long weekend for a group of three families with young children. We have rented together for 8 years now and there are few houses we would return to - this one being the exception! The house is large with plenty of open space yet is still cozy and comfortable. The bed layout was perfect, with bunks in the basement for the kids and plenty of comfortable upstairs bedrooms for the grown ups. The three baths were convenient and well placed, one on each floor, and we had plenty of hot water for showers. The included linens made our trip easy and stress free. The kitchen is nice and open, connecting to the living room with a huge island for food prep. We really enjoyed this as we were watching the Superbowl during our stay. The best amenity is the hot tub... steps out the back door, on the deck, with a stunning view of the mountain! It's a huge tub and has contoured seats that were amazingly comfortable. We were in it every night and it was a highlight of our visit! Stratton itself was great. The house was just a few minutes drive to the access road and the amenities and services at Stratton were a pleasant surprise - though not cheap. The food court at Stratton was excellent - not just burgers and fries! They have a wide selection of food and many healthy options too. That was a nice perk. Noel was a pleasure to rent from - replied quickly to e-mails and sent back the deposit in a timely manner. A child wet the bed while we were there and Noel was very understanding about it - he worked to salvage the mattress instead of having us pay to replace it. This shows that he's an honest and upstanding guy. He obviously loves this house and wants the best for his renters. This house is the perfect combination and we would highly recommend it to any group... Just leave it for us on Superbowl weekend. :)Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

My extended family rented this house for Thanksgiving 2011 and we all had a wonderful time! The large open layout on the first floor allowed for a lovely fire in the fireplace, beautiful views, and the people cooking could converse with everyone. We found the kitchen to be well equipped. The lower level is the perfect place for older kids with two bunkrooms, a tv, and ping pong table. The numerous upstairs bedrooms accommodated our three couples. There are plenty of towels and the outdoor hot tub was wonderful. Warm, comfortable and clean - this was a perfect house for our family gathering.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

The owners & their house caretaker were all great. From the beginning of book the house, the owners were very pleasant to work with and very flexible on working with our group. Once the deposit was taken care, they sent the direction, all house details, etc right away which was great to share with the group. The van we rented didn't have 4 wheel drive, since it snowed the night we arrived, we had trouble going up the hill outside of the house the next morning. When I called the owner & caretaker, they were very helpful and ensured that we didn't have problem coming home that night. We had some problem with the hot tub, but the owners followed up with us after the trip and ensured we were fine. It was a great house and I will certainly recommend staying there.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers.
