This is one of the nicest locations at Blue Cypress RV and Golf Resort. Being located both on the golf course and on the lake, it is beautiful and private. One of the nice features here is that the homes are not as close together as most. Our neighbors have never caused a problem or been loud at all.
The grounds are beautifully maintained, and we have several palm trees and beautiful plants on our property. Picture yourself walking out the front door with your golf clubs, or walking out the back door with your fishing poles. We enjoy the shaded patio on the lakeside for our relaxation and barbeques. Picture sitting on the swing with a cold drink and watching the fish jump or getting a suntan while reading a good book. Our large lenai is a comfortable place to relax and stay cool, while watching the news (as it has an air conditioner).
This is an outdoor commumity where most travel to and from the club, heated pool, and activities is by golf cart (which we supply). Most everyone gets to know each other quickly, and all give a hello as they pass by. Lake Okeechobee is the largest land locked lake in the USA. There are many miles of paved walkway to bike or stroll along. You will see manatees, bald eagles, hawks, various birds, butterflies, etc. This is one of the best spots for Perch and Bass fishing. The women love to line dance, do crafts, play games & get together at the pool. Petanque (which is similar to lawn bowling) is played two times daily and many visit the local tournaments to play. The men like to chat ,offer their assistance whenever needed ,and show off their barbeque, golf or fishing skills. The golf cart poker run is a great way to visit your neighbors for a beverage and snack and hopefully have a winning hand. Almost all the residents are active seniors. You'll enjoy the activities at the local ag center, such as the fair, rodeo, fall fest, etc. There are a lot of cowboys in the area and there is a Cowboy church right down the street. Our favorite eating place is the Golden Corral. We also enjoy the live theater and local activities. There is something for everyone here!

MY WIFE AND MYSELF RECENTLY STAYED IN THIS UNIT FROM DECEMBER 9, 2011 THROUGH JAN. 4, 2012. WE ENJOYED STAYING IN THIS UNIT VERY MUCH. IT WAS VERY CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED. THE OWNERS WERE VERY RESPONSIVE TO OUR QUESTIONS AND WERE THERE WHEN WE ARRIVED AT PROPERTY. THE OWNERS SHOWED US AROUND THE UNIT AND THE PARK AND EXPLAINED THE PARK'S AMMENITIES TO US VERY WELL. THE CONDITION OF THE PARK WAS VERY WELL MAINTAINED AS WELL AND THE RESIDENTS WERE VERY FIRIENDLY. THE LISTING FOR THIS PROPERTY DESCRIBED THE UNIT VERY WELL. THE UNITS IN THIS PARK HAVE MUCH MORE SPACE IN BETWEEN EACH UNIT SO YOU DO NOT FEEL SO CRAMPED IN AS MANY OTHER RV PARKS ARE. THE OWNERS WERE IN THE NEARBY AREA AND COULD BE REACHED VIA CELL PHONE IN CASE OF ANY MAJOR PROBLEMS WITHIN UNIT.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
