My wifes dream of spending christmas in an unforgetable log home were finally realized ! This was the most beautiful and well equipped home anyone could want! The highlight of our trip was a christmas eve tour of yellowstone park on a snomobile! I would highly recommend this to any adventerous family. Skiing at teton village was also a breathtaking experience! Shopping and dining in jackson was also wonderful. Sweetwater inn was our favorite. There were many fine restaurants there to choose from. It was by far the best vacation destination we have ever experienced! We are looking forward to returning!

This house was everything we hoped it would be and more, and even though we had a crowd (6 adults and 6 children), we never felt crowded. It’s about a 25 minute drive to downtown Jackson, but that was a plus for us. We were able to truly getting away from it all and experience the natural beauty of the west. For one week, High Peaks was our little piece of Paradise. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the large porch was perfect for early morning coffee and family meals. The ages of our party ranged from 6 years old to 66 years old, and we all LOVED it. And the views were incredible!! You can’t go wrong with this one.

The pictures on the VRBO web-site were accurate; but when you actually go through the front door you can't believe how beautiful the house is. Sitting in the great room and looking out to the Tetons took our breath away. The house looks like it should be featured in the Architectural Digest but with the added benefit of being extremely comfortable. The media room was great for tv, activities, but we wanted to spend as much of our time outside enjoying the fire pit & hot tub. Plenty good restaurants in the area but we actually ate dinner outside almost every night; we didn't want to miss the views. Fly fishing and hiking were awesome in the area. The house was immaculate; I always use socks in rentals but for the first time I went barefoot! The owners were very patient in answering all of our questions and provided recommendations when asked. The kitchen was stocked with anything that you would need, linens were top-notch, wonderful outdoor seating; it goes on and on. Jackson Hole is a wonderful place to visit and living in this house made it perfect!

If someone is looking for a true Jackson Hole experience in a very private setting, this house is perfect.............It is spacious, has breathtaking views of the Teton range from several vantage points, includes lovely public rooms for entertaining, and has a state of the art kitchen that seats about 10 guests at a big table plus four more at the kitchen bar. It is beautifully decorated and can sleep multiple guests with lots of privacy. It also has a large den downstairs for watching TV, entertaining children or playing games. It has a wonderful hot tub area off of the Master Bedroom and a hugh fire pit for outside entertaining and roasting marshmallows. Although I understand the house was originally built several years ago, your recent renovations are lovely. Suffice it to say, High Peaks Lodge is far superior to your typical rental house........ I am not sure how familiar opther guests might be with the Jackson Hole area, but I think the location of the Lodge is perfect......Situated about 8 miles from the small community of Wilson, Wyoming, it offers great privicy and spectacular views............Being near the Jackson ski resort of Teton Village is also very convenienct for winter guests. I think the ride to the hosue along Fall Creek Road is one of the most scenic drives in this section of Jackson Hole. Even though the house is located in a planned development, having it situated on a very private 5 acre lot, abuting 10,000 areas of US National Forest, allows for wonderful summer hikes right from the property. As you can tell, I really do like the area, the Lodge, and the privacy of the setting. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit the Jackson Hole area but wants the privacy of a very personal home without the hustle and bustle that seems to come with being closer to the town of Jackson....................... We hope to be able to come back to High Peaks many times in the future

The pictures don't tell the story of this house. The attention to detail was amazing in every room of the house, it didn't feel like a vacation rental at all! The huge kitchen was perfect for two to three people to work in and had EVERYTHING you would need! Tons of space. We spent our time with another family there and it was a perfect set up. The media room was great for the kids. And the outdoor deck overlooking the Grand Tetons, amazing! The kids loved toasting marshmallows in the open fire pit. Perfect home base to kick back and relax!!

Without question the most splendid accommodations that I've had the pleasure to stay in. This rustic lodge style home is magnificent and is designed just the way I would want my own. The attention to detail in maintaining the Western theme of the home is outstanding. Accessories are perfect. Nothing is overlooked. All the modern amenities were present for our comfort, dining, and entertainment needs. I can personally vouch for the hot tub which felt like heaven after a 10 mile hike. The view, especially in the morning, looking north into Jackson hole with the Grand Tetons, is just magnificent. A memorable trip. Everything was 1st class.

Jackson Hole is a great place & there can be fewer places better to stay than this log cabin in Wilson. It is rather isolated but this is part of it's charm and the journey is not difficult with plenty of potential for seeing all of the local wildlife on the way. The "cabin" is indeed luxurious but for an Englishman has a great wild west feel about it. The description hardly does it justice, it is kept in very good condition. Although the house has many amenities there is much happening in the whole area with Jackson Town and the Teeton Skiing area within easy reach. Wilson itself has a very good store, a restaurant & 2 other eateries but most important the best pub in the area. I have not hesitated in recommending this property to friends & relations all of whom come back with glowing reports.

The house was amazing, the photos accurately reflect its appearance. Although I would say it is better in reality as you feel the incredible atmosphere of the house and are able to appreciate the full beauty of its location. The house has plenty of space, was very comfortable, clean and well maintained. We were there in the summer with our three teenage boys and there were many activities to do. Fishing, white water rafting on the Snake River, hiking, BBQ's, visiting the rodeo, cable car up the Teton's, riding, visiting the National Parks, spotting moose, elks and ospreys. There are many restaurants to eat out in locally. The hot tub at the house was wonderful after a day full of activities. Cooking marshmallows over the fire pit was a fitting end to the day as was sitting on the deck enjoying the stunning view of the Tetons with a cool drink. For those who want to shop, Jackson Hole is not too far away. I would definitely recommend this property to a relative or friend. We had an unforgettable holiday.

Wow-I came to Teton Village and Jackson Hole 30 years ago when I was a student. A freind of mine was a ski bum and I stayed with him for a week in the usual basic student way. What was the area going to be like when I stayed as a grown up (and it has to be said, with grown up tastes, wanting some luxury for a start). Well I can tell you this house made my trip! It was such a great place to stay and my wife and son really loved it as well. We were in a larger group yet the house is laid out in a way that our king size bedroom was totally private. The amenities were great, the house was immaculate and very tastefully presented and it seemed the perfect place for a group (there were 9 of us) to have fun or just chill out with the magical views or in the hot tub. I would definetely recommend this place for a memorable visit to the Rockies (and of course the skiing is great!).

From the minute we flew into Jackson Hole and had our first view of the Grand Tetons we knew this was somewhere extraordinary. How fabulous then to arrive at the property and see the mountains from the seclusion of the deck with humming birds buzzing around us. I can't imagine a better place to unwind and relax. The house is huge and beautifully furnished. We made good use of the hot tub and toasted marshmallows in the fire pit. It was gorgeous in July but, were we not from London, we'd rush back here at any time of year if it weren't so far away. We couldn't recommend it more highly. A truly unbeatable experience.

              Why the Owner Chose Wilson:
Our family fell in love with this area the first time we stepped off a plane here. We love visiting with our parents and our children. There are so many great things to do every time we come we seem to find more ways to amuse ourselves. Although just sitting on our deck soaking up the views is as good a pastime as any other.

The Unique Benefits at this House:
In the summer we love to hike from the house, fish in the Snake river just minutes away, cycle, horseback ride, white water raft, cayak, visit yellowstone the list is endless......In the winter we love to ski it's a short 17mile drive to the main ski area at Teton village and despite all sorts of record snow falls our roads are always plowed in time to hit the slopes. We also enjoy visiting the national elk refuge and the odd day of snowmobiling.
