Our cliffside home is surrounded by water on three sides and Canada on the fourth. It offers a wide variety of stunning views. Facing east we watch the sunrise from behind Mt. Baker and the Three Sisters. The middle ground is Boundary Bay which hosts a variety of boats from recreational sailors to water skiers, wake boarders, kite boarders as well as crab fisherman.
Sometimes we will see resting grey whales in the bay. Up close, bald eagles and osprey frequently fly past at eye level.
Sometimes one will even perch in our cliffside tree. Looking out the windows is rarely boring, and having a fire in the birdcage fireplace really sets a relaxed mood, especially in a blustery winter day.
Should you wish to venture outside, there is a large fire pit next to the cliff where you can enjoy a smore or two and marvel at the lights of Blaine/White Rock/ Vancouver.
During the day you can take the seven minute walk to the beach to wander the tidal flats or swim in the bathtub warm water. Also a yoga studio just down the hill.
If swimming is not your thing, there are miles of hiking and biking trails that wind through three state parks. In addition we have a excellent golf course, world class marina and an air park for small aircrafts.
If you feel the need for yet more, Vancouver, a vibrant city is a thirty minute drive away. Or, in 10 minutes, you can jump on a ferry and visit any number of Gulf and San Juan Islands, just don't forget your passport.

Far enough away to feel quiet and secluded, but close enough to the city and mountains to experience a wide variety of activities. The property is immaculate, the furnishings comfortable and charming. Everything we needed in the full kitchen. Super fireplace feature that we used extensively during the chilly nights. The border crossing was never an issue. The view from the living room, which has these huge floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bay, is spectacular. My friends and I enjoyed a spectacular weekend away- although we didn't have to travel far we were transported to a perfectly private and quiet getaway. Suzanne and Don provided a welcoming space filled with all the necessary amenities plus a couple of unnecessary ones- but we sure did appreciated those the most (wine and chocolate). The space was just as advertised- comfortable,clean and fully appointed- perfect! I have rented many properties in many locations and by far this was the best in terms of service and attention to detail. We had a great time during our stay in this little house. it was definetly a lovely place to vacation for the weekend. It has a great view and is a short walk from the beach. We especially enjoyed the fire place during the chilly evenings. There is also a trail through the woods that leads out to the beach that is not to far of a walking distance with great view point opportunities. We loved this home. The owners even put up a Christmas tree for our stay! It is layed out well, has a stunning view, superb kitchen and wonderful round fireplace. It was as cozy as could be.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our stay here was absolutely lovely. From the amazing 360 fireplace, to the well equipped kitchen to the priceless view, we were in for a surprise and blown away. Our weekend was the definition of relaxation and we can't wait to be back !Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway from the city. Close enough to be a quick getaway from Vancouver and different enough to feel a lifetime apart. The space is gorgeous with a beautiful fireplace, perfect on a fall evening, and a kitchen outfitted with all you'd need. The spice drawer was such an amazing treat and discovery! Made our dinner times all the better. Gracious owners sharing all sorts of valuable local tips and information made the stay all the more relaxing. We ventured down to Lily Point and explored new trails as well as drove through different parts of town exploring it all. A few of us got away from Vancouver for the weekend to enjoy some hiking and celebrate the autumn equinox. Our accommodations were lovely. The house was extremely well-kept, spacious, and clean. The hiking trails nearby were also extremely quiet and peaceful for us, which was a real plus. We would definitely come here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing.

We stayed at Elizabeth House for a month while we waited for our new house to be completed in Coquitlam. It was a great experience and one we won't forget for some time. Elizabeth house is very clean and modern and has everything you could need for a family holiday. The view is amazing and when the tide is out you can walk for hours. The area seems secluded but you are only minutes from anything you need when you cross the border. My teens enjoyed making a fire each night and roasting marshmallows. We had an excellent stay at Elizabeth House in Point Roberts. A verry well stocked house with a beautiful garden and an even beter view over the ocean (or exactly sea).
