  I can't say enough good things about renting this house!:)) We all LOVED it!:)) It's located in a private section of ocean front homes on beautiful PCH:) It's away from the congested roads:) and gives you a private, serene, escape:) the house is perfectly situated so that you feel surrounded by the ocean and the deck over-looking the beach is fabulous! We slept to sound of the ocean and awoke to the majestic Pacific and sunshine everyday:) We had a small issue upon arrival and a handyman arrived promptly and fixed it- the rental couldn't have been easier!:) everything you need is there and its super relaxing and just a beautiful home! We usually stay at the Malibu Beach Inn but now we will be renting this house again! We added on to our stay while there:) we never wanted to leave! Thank you to the owners and the agent for being gracious amd accomodating. You made our trip easy and we adore your wonderful house!

  We spent a week in this beautiful Malibu beach house and could not fault it one bit. The one thing I would point out it that this house is at the far north-end of Malibu (and is actually in Ventura County) so if you are looking for something in central Malibu, this may not be for you as it is about a 15 minute drive away. However, if you have a car and love the peace and quiet, this is the ultimate place to stay. A list of pros: 1. Outside of central Malibu so lovely and quiet. Part of a row of only 10 or so houses on one stretch of beach. 2. The beach is deserted so it really is your own private ocean. 3. Neptunes Net is just a few yards from the house with amazing seafood and one of the best selections of bottled beer you will every find! 4. The house is spacious, clean and contemporary and extremely comfortable. 5. Because it is at the very north of Malibu, you are much closer to Camarillo which means it is only a 15 minute drive to all the chain restaurants plus the enormous Camarillo Shopping Outlet. There simply are no cons to this house and I would recommend a visit. The moment you open the front door, you will be hit by the amazing view of the ocean and all of the wildlife it brings. We had dolphins right in front of the house on our first and last mornings. Surfing the waves and giving us a really clear view of them. Plus the seals are often about. I think that is everything, I'm just going to pop back on the listing and check availability for March :-)

  This property is a great value for being directly on the beach with the sound of the ocean persistent all day and night. It's very peaceful and relaxing to sleep with the windows open and listen to the surf. The layout of the house works well and the kitchen is well-appointed. There are lots of windows towards the ocean so you can experience it all day, even inside. Although this property is in Malibu, it's at the North end so it feels very private and away from it all but is still close enough to get some seafood for grilling or groceries. Beds were very comfortable, and the house was clean. Some of the house and outdoor items, like the grill showed wear, but this is acceptable with a property directly on the ocean getting the ocean air and climate 24/7. The staff was very helpful and attentive. I recommend this property for those couples and/or families that do not need a huge house, like a nice kitchen, want to be on the beach, and desire some privacy. Enjoy!

  The 4 days in Your wonderful Malibu beach house were one of the highlights of our 3-weeks-roundtrip through California this summer.The location of the classical beach house, as You know it from numerous films and pictures at northern Malibu coast with a totally quiet, marvelous private beach and the unique view from the terrace was really wonderful. Each day we could see dolphins passing by, wonderful sunsets and with clear weather even the Channel Islands at the horizon. The interior design, the view from all rooms, the comfortable beds, the amenities and the overall ambiance exceeded all our high exspectations. Due to the well equipped kitchen we had wonderful dinners in private atmosphere looking at the sea and listening to the wave breaking, avoiding the mostly overcrowded beach restaurants. Also the center of Malibu was easy to reach in a short 15 min. trip to the shopping centers and to Zuma beach, where the youngsters enjoyed surfing lessons with the very friendly and competent guys from MalibuMakos. Overall again it was a magnificent stay in Your beach house, and not anybody of us 6 can imagine to stay anywhere else, if he has the chance to come back to Malibu anytime.   My family and I had a great time at the house. We live in southern California but have never lived on the beach. The house is in a great location and could not be closer to the beach and water. The views are unbelievable; we saw pelicans, dolphins, and seals and were treated to a daily sunset right from the kitchen table. The waves were also great and I surfed right in front of the house every day we were there. The house is very well equipped and very recently remodeled. The master bathroom and kitchen are immaculate. All of the appliances are brand-new and the coffee maker, cooking utensils, plates, silverware, etc are all very high quality. The barbeque is clean and well maintained. We used it three times while we were there. The bedrooms, beds and linens are also very nice. Everything we needed was right where we expected to find it. The parking is great. Two generous parking spots are reserved in front of the house. Both spots are easy to pull strait into and offload baggage, food, etc. Paige is great host, she is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I felt at home during the entire stay. She provided several great tips for restaurants and shopping in the Malibu area. Additionally, she went out of her way and setup wine tasting at a premier Malibu winery. The winery was a definite unexpected highlight of the trip. The Malibu area has many great things to do. We hiked the Grotto trail from the Circle-X ranch. (There are many other more challenging hikes in the area but this one was the best match for our hiking ability). Even if you don’t like hiking, the drive is awesome and world famous. We surfed and body boarded daily and made several sand castles. There are several great surf spots that are just a short drive. I surfed County Line, Leo Carrillo and Zuma. Overall it was a very relaxing trip. A big thanks to Paige for making the house available!

  Our warmest wishes and a great big thanks to the Semler family for the opportunity to experience a truly unique California lifestyle nestled in the northern part of the 21-mile strip of prime Pacific coastline and the Santa Monica mountain range. Kudos to Annette for providing excellent advice on local restaurants, markets and shops. This Malibu beachfront home will always hold a special place for us all.    Oksana, the kids and I truly enjoyed the pristine ocean climate, the beach, the surfing, most of all we loved the beach house and its immaculate ocean view. We saw dolphins every morning, lots of birds, and even a seal who would visit the nearby rock enclave on a daily basis. The beach was basically empty the entire time and the kids spent hours on end surfing the waves and playing in the sand. We truly had a wonderful experience and vacation.    The proximity to the rest of Malibu, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles was unbelievable, and the weather could not have been better! The many great attractions of Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica became part of out California experience. From the nearby Leo Carrillo State Park with its sea cave and tide pools to explore, to the fabulous Getty Villa and its amazing collection dedicated to the arts and cultures of ancient Greece and Rome. During our 9-day stay in Malibu we were also able to attend the performance of the Cirque du Soleil “IRIS” at the world-renowned Kodak Theatre; take a day trip to Universal Studios (kids’ favorite) and attend the Go-Go's concert at the Greek Theatre (parents’ favorite). The kids also enjoyed the opportunity of being part of the taping of a live-action Disney comedy for kids and families –“Pair of Kings” (our daughter Laryssa was able to get autographs from the four main actors including Mitchel Musso!); tour the Warner Brothers Studio, where we saw Sheldon, Rajesh and Howard from the “Big Bang Theory” comedy series and walked through the “Friends” set. For Canadians, this was a real Hollywood treat. Thank you once again for a wonderful vacation experience in Malibu, where we created some wonderful memories. We can’t wait to come back.
