This luxury guesthouse was built in 1999 out of authentic adobe bricks and is furnished with priceless antiquities, art, statues, and authentic oriental rugs. It has the finest wood and stone tile flooring, and the doors and windows are framed with New Mexican moss rock. Its roof is thatched with willows from the nearby Rio Grande River.
It features two very spacious bedrooms with all natural European bedding and the finest quality of pressed European linens. It has a kitchen and dining room, a living room with a kiva fireplace, and one bathroom with a large Jacuzzi tub and spacious shower stall with body sprays and a ceiling showerhead. There is an elaborate rooftop terrace and an outside patio with dining area. La Casa Del Alma and its surrounding grounds is perfect for romantic getaways, sacred retreats, celebrations, weddings and other special events.
It is an idyllic setting and provides wonderful views of the Sangre de Christo mountains to the East, the red hills of the Barrancas to the West, and adjoins untouched, sacred Native American land with grazing buffaloes to the North.
The Master Bedroom is extremely spacious with one queen-size bed, plus a twin-size day bed in a cozy nook surrounded by windows. The floor is made of mahogany wood and stone tiles and includes an adjacent prayer room of Gothic design.
It has a gas fireplace and is full of bright sunlight. It has large windows which overlook a Japanese garden. The ceiling features vigas in the Southwestern style and dramatic mood lighting of modern Italian design. It is furnished with Chinese antiques.
The second Master Bedroom is equally exquisite and has three different levels. The first level features a living area, which overlooks a lovely fountain in front of the house. The second level has a queen-size bed amidst two large windows and a cozy wood fireplace.
The ceiling is very high with wood vigas and latillas. The bedroom is bright and has a very clean, modern look. It is decorated in the Japanese and Southwestern styles. A stairway leads up to the third level and loft, which includes a full-size bed and desk and gives access to the rooftop terrace.
A stone archway leads from the entrance corridor into the living room, which features Afghan Kelims and elegant stone tiles. There is a kiva fireplace built out of moss rock, and large windows give this room plenty of sunlight.
A double glass door leads to a secluded outside patio, and the kitchen features an elegant stone countertop and is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances.
La Casa del Alma is part of a Retreat Center, which lies nestled in the rolling hills of New Mexico, just 20 minutes North of Santa Fe. It is surrounded by architectural splendor, sacred sites, numerous gardens, a vineyard, a pond with ducks and geese, walking and jogging paths, and a bird sanctuary with peacocks.

La Casa Del Alma accommodates up to 6 people (3 couples).
No children under 12 years of age may stay at La Casa Del Alma.
No pets allowed.
A cleaning service is available upon request for an extra $100/cleaning.
A credit card imprint will be taken on the arrival date for damage security.
A 50% deposit is required upon reservations.
The remaining balance is due at the time of arrival.
Cancellations must be made 14 days prior to reservations for the deposit to be refunded.
