This Northern New Mexico quiet and serene Casita, built in 2008, sits on 40 amazingly beautiful and dramatic acres of pinon/juniper high desert lands. Walk 100 yards from your door and view the stunning 500 foot deep red-rock canyon from the rim made up of huge sandstone slabs. You have a true Eagle's view of the Rio Puerco river below. This is an artist's paradise, or the perfect place to relax and restore, or to listen for your muse to move you toward your next creation.
Bring your horses, as we are set up to receive them. Or arrange for the adventure of a trail ride with trained guides through these high desert lands.
Santa Fe with its art galleries and fine New Mexico dining is just 75 min south. Abiquiu has Ghost Ranch, Georgia O’Keefe tours, and Bodies General Store which makes the world famous Bodies Breakfast Burritos. Taos is just another 75 minutes away where you can tour, or go white water rafting. The Abiquiu Lake within view is perfect for hiking, boating, water skiing, jet skiing and kayaking. You can put your vessel into the lake just minutes from the Casita.
Here the Earth speaks to you, quiets you, and inspires you.

About: My name is Diana WhiteEagle. I am a part of a growing circle of people on our planet awakening to their important roles as part of our Earth system. I travel extensively, and have gathered the most amazing people here at my home land to care for things, and you, when do.
Why Abiquiu:
I didn’t ‘buy’ the Casita. I designed the building and my late
husband built it. I had always intended to have a beautiful and
healing place on the planet to invite others to share in. I have been
traveling to this area in New Mexico since I rode my first motorcycle
here, long ago. This is the true home of my spirit. I saw this land
and the canyon and the healing nature of Changing Woman Mountain in a
vision 25 years ago. So when the mystery put this piece of heaven
into my hands the voice of the land was clear. ‘All must be allowed
to come who want nurturing, healing, or restoring.’ So, we built the
Casita for our visitors.
The Unique Benefits at this Studio:
The deepest quiet you will ever experience … endless vistas … a sky
that changes its nature moment to moment … the play of light on the
red canyon walls, and the view of the lake in continuous change with
the shadows, the wind, the clouds! Walking here is a gift. Riding a
horse across the lands, amazing. The smell of the sage just after one
of our monsoon rains is the sweetest scent. Feeling the old song
here in the Earth and the Sky opens your heart. We are also located
so near to all the special and unique things about this high desert
area! You can drive an hour and a half in any direction and be in
Taos, or Santa Fe, or in the pueblo’s for their ceremonial dances.
You can go river rafting on the Chama, or fishing, hunting, boating,
all within a very short distance from us.
