We spent 10 days over New Year's with our 3 kids in Playa Bejuco and I'm convinced we had the best house around! This place is clean, spacious, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. I personnally loved the kitchen, from where you can always have a peak at the beach. The owner lives a few houses down the street and that is convenient. The washing machine is also a great bonus when you have children. The beach is right across the small dirt road. It is a super long beach, endless on either sides. The waves were just perfect for our kids, in shallow water, where they could actually surf with the boogie boards provided by the owner. We could watch some great surfers everyday. You can also watch the beautiful red aras down the street. I would suggest to have a car. It is a residential area with a couple of hotels around and a small convenience store maybe 2 km from the house. For a bigger grocery store, you have to go to Parrita, maybe 12 km away. You are about 30 minutes away from Jaco and Manual Antonio. Manual Antonio has a great reputation, but if you like quiet places, you better stay at the house! If you have your own gear, there is some nice snorkelling to do in Quepos, near the marina. And if you want to do a zip-line, the one in Parrita is awesome. Only 6 cables, but super long (500 meters), super high with great views of the ocean. The hotel near the house can book it for you. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I would not hesitate to go back. It was just the perfect way to end our 5 week vacation in Costa Rica.
