My family rented this property for a week over Christmas, 2012. We had a positive experience with this rental every step of the way. Diane was wonderfully responsive, prompt and patient when responding to our questions (we had multiple family members calling her to ask any number of questions!) and just a delight. Diane even made sure there was a Christmas tree stand for us and offered to track down a high chair for our toddler. As for the property, it was perfect for our needs. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. Clearly the family uses the home for their own large family gatherings. We were cooking for 13 people every night for a week and able to find everything we needed. My family kept commenting on how well kept the house was. It is a beautiful home full of interesting books, and chess and checker sets! The rooms are comfortable, the fireplace is awesome, there's a ton of wood available. It's a little tricky to put up pressure-mount baby gates but we didn't have a problem faking it and keeping an eye on our girl. It's definitely a kid-friendly space! Dog friendly also! We got 2 feet of fresh snow during our stay and enjoyed every minute. It was just perfect. Thank you Diane!!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This handsome and gracious home was the perfect spot for a wonderful reunion of seven adults and two children. The house is laid out in such a way that everyone had space and privacy plus the amenities of an inviting livingroom, great deck and well-appointed kitchen. We enjoyed preparing dinners together, spending long evenings on the deck, and engaging in an impromptu family competition of ping pong and darts in the double garage. The house is convenient located, and it was easy to get to the various pools and play areas by foot or bike. The house has a family-feel that's welcoming and peaceful. We definitely plan to be back!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

My multi-generational family enjoyed a wonderful family vacation at this home. The deck was wonderful and we spent a great deal of time there, eating, reading and visiting. This was a very spacious home. The photos provided reflect the overall feel of the home. The house was very clean and has been well maintained. All the beds were great as well as the rest of the furniture throughout the home. We so appreciated having 4 bathrooms too. The kitchen was well equipped. The owner was quickly responsive to questions we had before we arrived. The owner even installed the Olympic channel which we appreciated. We are making plans to stay there again next year.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.
