  Karen and Dave's condo is exactly as represented. The location of this condo makes for easy access to the beach, restaurants and shops. The amenities of this resort are well kept, clean and the staff are very helpful. I would recommend this condo for families or couples. We were 4 adults and found the space more than adequate. Thanks, Karen and Dave - we will be back again... Mahalo :)

  We've visited Maui many times, but this was our 1st stay in this area of Kihei. It WON'T be our last!! Kamaole Sands is a beautiful resort and enjoying it from the comfort and convenience of Karen and Dave's wonderful condo made it just perfect. Although the photos very accurately portray the condo, they don't quite do it justice because they can't capture the feeling of warmth and caring that envelopes you in this condo - great "vibes" there! We felt so at home and lacked for nothing as it's very spacious, well furnished and maintained, clean, fresh and so comfortable. Lots of beach towels, boogie boards, snorkel gear, etc. for beach and outdoor activities. We made good use of the beach chairs primarily at Kamaole Beach III (a very quick stroll through the gorgeous resort grounds and across the street), Keawakapu Beach, and Makena Beach. Many very good restaurants and shops close by this resort. We spent lots of time soaking up the sun by the pool, BBQ'd a number of times and enjoyed meeting other guests around the resort. We very much appreciated the quiet at night. It's very difficult to condense 2 1/2 weeks of heaven into one review, but this resort, and in particular this condo, gave us the best vacation we could have asked for. Karen is excellent to deal with through the booking process and we were very fortunate to have the opportunity to meet her and Dave - really great people! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to family or friends. We will definitely be looking to return to this resort and condo in future!

  This condo exceeded our expectations. The condo itself is very clean and appears newly renovated. Great view of the ocean, overlooking pool and gardens. Great location across from Kamaole Beach Park III. We will definitely be coming back!

  We stayed here Jan.30 to Feb.6, 2013 and were so happy we picked this place for our Maui vacation. Everything was as or even better than expected. The condo is very nicely equiped and got everything you need to feel like being at home. Views from the lanai with ocean view are awesome. We didn´t spend so much time on the beaches but the owner provides everything like beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gears, cooler etc.. Internet is available from the pool hotspot. Kamaole Sands is the perfect place to explore Maui. It is perfectly located in Kihei. Nice beaches, grocery stores, restaurants are very close by. We got around the whole island and we very much appreciated the central location. The owner, Karen, was very nice and quick in replying to our request and providing all necessary information and instructions how to get there. Overall it was a wonderful stay. If we ever come back to Maui we´ll definitely check back on this condo. Everyone who is looking for a beautiful, comfortable, spacious and conveniently located condo, look no further.

  We decided to celebrate our tenth anniversary in Maui and found this unit at Kamaole Sands available for the week we wanted to stay there. I think we really lucked out getting this unit because it was absolutely perfect for us and exceeded our expectations. The unit is just as described and even better in person. We arrived just in time to watch our first sunset from the balcony. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to enjoy a few meals at home. We took our three year old with us so it was important to have the option of meals at home. It was also really nice to have 2 bathrooms. The location is perfect and you can walk to the beaches, restaurants and shops or enjoy the Kamaole Sands pool without needing to drive and worry about parking. It was one of the BEST vacations we’ve ever had and we can’t wait to go back again someday. If we have a choice we will definitely try to stay in this unit again. I had the opportunity to meet the owners in person and they are as wonderful and helpful in person as in email.

  Just want to say Thanks karen! The place was great, we have stayed in other units before but not as upgraded as your is. It is excactly how you described it, the beach chairs and unbrella and boogy boards came in real handy. We will definetly rent it again in our next stay in Maui. thanks again

  The owners are very helpful and very timely in questions/concerns. The listing photos are accurate. The only four things I have to offer in terms of an upgrade in service are: 1. I'd love to have a vase in the unit because I like to have fresh flowers while I'm in Maui; 2. The floor and baseboards weren't as clean as they could be so it must have just been 'mopped' instead of a good washdown; 3. It would be helpful to have a good overall general cleaning product and toilet cleanerwith rags etc. available - that way, it would give a message to the renters to keep it clean; 4. Two washclothes/dishtowels instead of one Overall, it was a great place to stay.

  Dave and Karen's condo was a great place to stay! I stayed here with my family for several weeks. This condo was right across from Kam III Beach and we had a beautiful view of the ocean from our lanai. Snorkelling, sunbathing, paddle boarding, yoga, we did it all and all across the street at Kam Beach! The location is ideal and the condo was well equipped. Beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, boogie boards, snorkel gear, a cooler...you name it, it was available. The complex was kept clean, the grounds were beautiful and tropical and flat, no hills....super easy to get around. Also, if you keep both the back door and sliding door open there is an awesome cross breeze and you never have to switch on the AC. In my opinion, the Kihei area is the best place to stay in Maui. Karen was really good with replying to my request promptly and providing me all the instructions about how to get to the condo. I hope to come back to Maui and would definitely stay at this condo again! Mahalo

  We stayed from April 2nd to 15th. The unit was just as it was described in the listing. Nice view of ocean, grounds and pool. The unit had everything we could have wanted/needed and more. The boogy boards, lawn chairs, cooler etc. we're really appreciated. The owners were excellent to work with. It is in a great location, close to restaurants, ice cream shops, etc. It worked very well for our family.

  My wife and I loved our stay in this unit. Condo is clean, well furnished and the Lanai has a beautiful view over looking the pool and out to the ocean. On nights we didn't watch the sunset from the beach, we always made sure to watch from the Lanai. There was only two of us, but the unit could easily sleep 4 comfortably. The kitchen had everything we hoped for and we enjoyed cooking dinners. Overall it was a wonderful stay, and the owners made sure everything went smooth from the day we booked to the day we checked out.
