This property was fabulous. The pictures really don't do it justice. We stayed here with our children over spring break. The house was perfect for my husband who loves to cook; the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. All appliances were high end. The beds were very comfortable. We will most certainly be back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had a great time and the house was beautiful. The owners had many extra amenities for use, which was nice if you forgot to pack something. The floor-plan was perfect for our family and the kids had their own little playroom loft to themselves. It is a very nice property and very family friendly. We booked it at the last minute for the Christmas holiday, so it was a little expensive compared to similar properties in the neighborhood. Other than that, I have no complaints. I would highly recommend staying there for your vacation. The owners were very nice, attentive and answered any questions we may have had. It was a beautifully decorated, cozy home. You can tell the owners put a lot of love and energy into the home. We had a great Christmas and we will definitely stay there again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My family and another family stayed at this property and found it to be absolutely wonderful. There were 4 adults and 4 kids under the age of 10 and this property had plenty of room for all. All of the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable; the kitchen is beautiful with it's granite countertops and top of the line appliances, we actually cooked there several times; and the dining area had a large table that could easily fit 10-12 people. The living areas were also quite large, a huge couch for lounging on downstairs for the grownups and a large game room upstairs for the kids that had Wii, DVD, a jukebox, game table, and shuffleboard. We never saw our kids when we were home, they absolutely loved being upstairs away from the parents. The backyard was so nice with the firepit, we made s'mores and just hung out in nature. Some nice features that aren't often seen, a large mud room for jackets, shoes, coolers, ski's, etc., lots of blankets for snuggling up with, and a tankless water heater so there was always plenty of hot water. There are bike trails just down the street that we were able to go take long walks on and the house is very convenient to get to and from the highway. We had a couple questions for the owner during our stay and she was always quick to respond, she was a pleasure to work with the entire process. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a gorgeous home that is conveniently located to so many activites.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Location
Owner info
Year Purchased: 2011
About the owner: Residing in Davis, CA, we've found Tahoe to be the perfect playground in all seasons. Our family loves to ski, hike, ride bikes, golf, and lounge. As owners of an aircraft sales and charter company, Axis Jet, we can also fly you in comfort and style direct to the Truckee Airport.
Why the Owner Chose Truckee:
We purchased this home with the goal of creating a comfortable getaway where we could connect with family and friends. We love the location -- the charming town of Truckee, amazing golf and quick access to stellar ski resorts.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
This home is a place to play and then RELAX. After you do your outdoors thing, come home to an amazing shower, cook dinner in a gourmet kitchen, unwind on the leather couch, toast a s'more on the gas firepit and then hit the comfy beds. In the morning, there is a coffee pot to make your own java, but we recommend a trip downtown to Truckee's Coffeebar for your caffeine fix and an amazing blueberry scone. (our kids love the Nutella croissant!)
