This was my first visit to Kauai, and was for my daughter's wedding. The description and photos posted online were spot-on, and the owner was very prompt with answering all my questions. The condo was very clean and well-maintained, and the whole community was very pretty. I would recommend this to anyone who wanted to stay in Princeville to be near some of the attractions in Kauai. Mahalo!

Gorgeous Oceanview Rental

My fiancee and I just rented this condo over Labor day weekend and wow were we impressed! First I should say that owners were so very helpful and responsive. I can tell they take great pride in their condo and enjoy sharing if with visitors to Kauai. We couldn't have chosen a more perfect location than Princeville, and the condo took full advantage of the gorgeous ocean and mountain views. It was beautifully furnished and had a great vibe throughout. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to dine in. If you prefer eating out, Princeville shopping center and Hanalei Bay were just a short drive away. We were within walking distance of some pretty neat sights such as Queen's Bath, and the Cliff's community offers an array of activities and classes to suit anyone's taste. Oh, and we were so very thankful that there was a washer/dryer in the condo. VERY useful. All in a all, our only regret was that we weren't able to stay longer!! Will certainly rent this one again.

We decided to stay at this condo after reading the glowing reviews by former guests. Let me just say they were right on the money! This was a very nice condo in a very nice condo complex. We had a couple of teenage girls and they love the fact that they had their own private sleeping area in the loft away from mom and dad who slept on the main level. The unit was fully furnished and had a very luxurious look and feel. It was clean and extremely well maintained. Staying here, we didn't feel like we were staying in a rental - it was like staying at our own house (only our own house is not so nice... but that is another story...). Since we were here for 8 days, we stocked up at Costco and made full use of the well equipped kitchen. Having a washer and dryer unit in the condo was nice and allowed us to pack lighter than we normally would for a long trip like this. The kids loved going to the swimming pool after we came back to the condo from a day of touring. It was almost right next door and a very short walk. Having the concierge on site was a plus as we made use of the service to book some events like the ...gasp.... Smit Family luau! The concierge was also very helpful about what activities are good for kids, etc. and it helped us with our planning. The instructions from Randy and Corinne were very accurate, and left nothing to guesswork. We were able to find the condo complex (of course, having GPS helped too), get in, get our parking permit, wi-fi access, etc. easily. We;re looking forward to coming back to Kauai again soon and we know where we will be staying!

STOP reading these reviews and BOOK THIS CONDO!...IMMEDIATELY!...or you'll potentially miss out on the most precious, lasting memories of your lives! We've been to Kauai multiple times and just experienced our best trip yet, largely due to great weather and our choice to rent this particular condo in Princeville for the first time. This "Cliffs" top floor condo is ideally located on the more scenic northern coastline with million dollar ocean views to the north and NW and lush mountain views to the south. It's literally minutes from ALL of KAUAI's best excursion/adventure tours (seriously - BEST!) and coolest Kauai locales; secluded beaches, Napali boat or helicopter tours, Hanalei bay, Princeville golf, Kilauea lighthouse, Kauai Mini-Golf, Tunnels, etc.. The unit's decorative feel is pure HAWAII - like it's supposed to be! With an amply outfitted kitchen, we loaded the pantry with groceries and enjoyed all homemade meals on either the north or south lanai. We even grilled steaks and kabobs on the nearby BBQ's. Our sleep was the best we've ever had in Kauai - period - as the beds were comfy and there was so much cross-ventilation and fan circulation...an over-looked MUST for trip enhancement! Besides our necessary ESPN access, we also utilized this well-stocked condo's washer/dryer, beach chairs and umbrellas, DVD players, blowdryer, pool towels, Kauai travel guides, and paperbacks. No need to OVER PACK like we did! The unit also supplies all bath towels, soaps, shampoos and lotions - but not sunscreen! We enjoyed the adjacent Cliffs swimming pool, jacuzzi, tennis and basketball courts. The complex's on-site concierge happily booked our favorite Napali snorkel tour and our first Zip-n-Dip ziplining package. And, not once, did we even sniff...a timeshare saleperson! Seriously, this place has it all for any party of six or less. You WILL NOT be disappointed! Now - STOP READING and book it so you can start making your bigger KAUAI decisions,,, like which shave ice flavors make the most delicious tropical mix.... Aloha

We loved staying at this beautiful condo at the Cliff's Resort. Everything was in excellent condition, updated decor, comfortable bedding, beautiful views. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare a meal. The owners were wonderful to work with. Will definitely try to stay here again on our next trip to Kauai.

Our family had a wonderful time at this property. Aside from its location (which is one of the best in Princeville) the unit itself is clean, well kept, and nicely appointed. Being a corner unit, it receives abundant light and the views of the mountain and ocean lanai's are beautiful. Communication with the owner was great with very quick response time. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone and hope to stay here again in the future.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Huntress family condo at The Cliffs. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stays at this property; however, this was our first year at the Huntress' condo. Its a well-equipped, sunny apartment with a nice, though somewaht distant, ocean view. Great for having a quiet drink on the chaise lounge while whale watching. The apartment is close to the pool and rec building, but we had no noise issues - just enjoyed the convenience. We look forward to coming back again next year.

Great Vacation Condo

This is a fantastic place to stay! My husband and I spent two months here this past winter and enjoyed the bright welcoming decor and all the upgrades. The rain shower in the master bath is a particularly nice feature. We have stayed in other Cliffs units and found that the kitchen in this unit is better equipped than most. There is loads of storage spots so that we even had empty closet spaces. The view of the ocean and whales from the front lanai is outstanding. We would recommend this unit for a relaxing vacation!

We wanted to take the time and thank you for your lovely condo, it made our vacation really wonderful in-spite of the challenging weather. We all- kids, grandparents and parents - enjoyed it very much, from inside tasteful and modern decoration and all amenities to outside magnificent views and pool nearby. My family stayed here for a week in August 2010. The condo is very modern, clean, comfortable, and roomy. My wife and I enjoyed the privacy of the master bedroom and bath. The separate sleeping loft was perfect for our three children, who enjoyed having their own space to spread out into. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with cooking equipment. The amenities at the Cliffs were great--very nice pool and tennis areas, basketball and shuffleboard courts, and a very accommodating concierge desk that happily signed out sports equipment, beach toys, and board games to my kids. The location is beautiful, though we had to drive pretty much everywhere. However, this could probably be said about any property in Princeville, so it's not a complaint. Overall, I would definitely recommend this condo to my friends.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at this condo and it was great. We were happily surprised by how beautiful and spacious the condo was. It was clean and well maintained. It also has a nice view from the lanai and the complex itself was well maintained. I would return to this condo again and would certainly recommend it to anyone traveling to Kauai. .

Dear Huntress Family: We soooooo enjoyed your condo, what a beautiful place and location. My son's new in-laws stayed in another unit in the same building as your condo, but they were much more impressed with our unit. We came to Kauai for our son's wedding and we found the hospitality of the people from the area made all the festivities so special. We definitely want to come back for another stay when have a little more free time.

We have stayed on Kauai 7 times and this place was far the BEST!!! There is a lanai off the master bedroom and a lanai off the living room. What a beautiful place to relax after a long day at the beach. We loved the Indonesian décor and the koa hard wood floors. It was the perfect touch to put us in the island mood. Beautiful canopy king bed in the master bedroom with the BEST mattress and large tile shower. Large windows and the 2 stories made it feel very open and spacious. Plus you have access to a great pool in a landscape area near by. We will definitely stay here again…. Mahalo!Claudia and ChristinaMendocino, CA

This condo was fantastic, some friends of ours who were staying at a much more expensive resort were so jealous that we had a great balcony, tons of room, and an ocean view. The pictures on the site dont even do it justice!. The place is beautifully decorated and I will stay here again when I return to Kauai.

This condo was beautifully furnished with many upgrades and immaculately kept. The koa wood floors are gorgeous. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Hi There...and welcome! My husband, 5 yr. old daughter, and I purchased this condo in early 2004. We sold a house in Hanalai to purchase here because we wanted an ocean view. Right afterwards, we spent 3 weeks at the condo in January & February...whale season! We watched whales go by right from the lanai about every 15 minutes! It was spectacular! We also spent a whole week shopping for all new furniture, beds, linens, towels, electronics, decorator items, kitchenware, etc. We love our condo and we hope you will too! Our goal is to give our guests a wonderful and memorable vacation experience. Enjoy!
