Gardens are lush and well tended by our long time gardener, Augustin Coj Chumil.
Very friendly manager, Carmelina Chapin has been a friend for 25 years, she is pure Mayan. Modern though as Carmelina runs an international travel agency and writes her local dialect in shorthand.
Airport pickup can be arranged for plane to door service.
Pueblo of Panajachel is very closeby with lots of shopping and nightlife. Tuktuk taxis very available at cost of about 60 cents USD for local fare.

Petal biking is excellent in Panajachel and all around the lake.

About the owner: Owner has been involved in Mayan Handcraft business since 1976. Homes were built for our family use and has very familiar gardener and manager. Biking around the town is great, shopping mindboggleing, food market stuffed full of excellent produce and fruits. Boat trips to the other pueblos are cheap and easy. Coffee, bananas, chilis etc all grow in the yard. Lots of tropical birds especially in morning and sunset.
Why the Owner Chose Panajachel:
Lake Atitlan area is one of the most stunning in the world. Weather is perfect at 4,500 feet. Mayan people are kind and gentle, beautiful in their native costumes. Adobe Homes are in safe and secure residencial area and very cozy.
