It's also within 15 minutes of over 150 wineries, a few short miles from the Evergreen Aviation Museum (Home of the Spruce Goose) and Waterpark and an hour from Portland in one direction and the Oregon Coast in the other.
French doors off the master bedroom open on to a charming deck and private fenced backyard. When your feet get sore, curl up in front of the 42' HD TV or bring your own favorite DVD.
The bright and airy kitchen is fully outfitted whether you cook for yourself or bring in take-out. There's also a washer and dryer in case you spill your wine.

Perfect size for us and a fantastic alternative to hotels! We decided to head to the Willamette Valley for a mom wine weekend getaway and found this great house. Plenty of room, clean, quiet neighborhood in a fantastic funky town. The owner, Stephanie, is wonderful. Very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We had a great time and will definitely be back. We all want to bring our husbands and kids down to experience McMinnville!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

My Mom and I stayed here for a week in the beginning of May and we both really enjoyed our stay! Tastefully decorated and nicely landscaped, the cottage provided a comfortable, cozy home base for us throughout the next week. We already miss the relaxing evenings, having a glass of wine on the back deck in the enclosed backyard, chatting and enjoying the plentiful trees & flowers around the property. The cottage is nicely located within the town and accessing great restaurants, bistros and shops is truly an easy, 15-minute stroll through a lovely neighborhood. McMinnville is surrounded by a budding number of wineries throughout Yamphill County and has easy access to so much in northern Oregon - little over an hour to Salem or Portland, or to the beach, or the mountains! As well as being equipped with laundry and a kitchen, in addition to having cable and internet - it's a WAY better alternative to staying at any of the hotel chains. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this place and would live here, myself, if I could!Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, families with young children, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.
