We stayed here during spring break with our three children. Wow! After my husband's heart attack, it was just what the doctor ordered... Ahhh... Waking up to the sound and smell of the surf was soooo relaxing! First thing in the morning, the kids tumbled out of bed and hit the beach which is, literally, four steps off of the front porch! We were able to keep an eye on them from the kitchen sink, the dining room table, the sofa, the porch, or the master balcony upstairs! (great layout) One morning we awoke to see a local owner and her 9 yr. old daughter being greeted by a pod of 7--8 dolphins leaping around the bow of their canoe. Lunch was served on the front porch, as this unit has a picnic table. Otherwise, we recommend heading into Panama City Beach to jet-ski, explore Shell Island, and swim with wild dolphins! In the afternoon, we generally would take a leisurely bike ride over to Rosemary Beach to visit the Sugar Shak. (You gotta try the Beach Float!) Rosemary Beach won architectural awards for a reason folks! It is gorgeous! The beach fun wasn't over when the sun went down. The sunsets were gorgeous, and you get to enjoy them right from your front porch! Dinner and a moonlit walk on the beach...can't get enough of that white sugary sand! If you want a beachfront, semi-private getaway, this property is perfect! It is newly remodeled. It is clean. It is minutes away from the very popular, thus populated, beach towns like Rosemary and SeaSide whose hustle and bustle is easily accessible, yet avoidable! Remember, if traveling by automobile, cyclists have the right-of-way! (At least that is what we were told! I'm not sure if it's official. There were hundreds of kids on bikes riding the cobblestone streets of Rosemary Beach, and they all seemed to be headed to the Sugar Shak!) Enjoy!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Right on the beach, very clean, lacked for nothing. I'd highly recommend. Also, give Salty Sue's a try for dinner. Loved the whole vacation!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
