This Boutikia property was perfect for my stay. It was attractive and clean and very near everything I needed, as in a yoga studio, 2 coffee houses, several eating establishments (tacos, sushi, bakery, etc., and near my niece's home.) Also, for exercise it is near the big hill where one can take walks & view the city. Boutikia left a bottle of wine for me & some chocolates - nice! I particularly liked the bathroom, clean and good light. The TV needs some work as it had a hum. The keyless lock on the door is very convenient. I would stay here again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We enjoyed our 5 day stay in this wonderful rental that is so convenient to all restaurants and stores in Bernal Heights. The kitchen is modern, well equipped and you could cook all your meals there, but with Martha and Bros. which is practically next door where they slowly spoon the foam on top of your latte, Vega for the best pizza, and other delights of the neighborhood we ate out most of the time. There is a lot of interesting art work on the walls and the patio with a hammock and deck off the kitchen is an added bonus. I always check out the interior photos of the rentals and many are dismissed because I cannot stand the decorating with stuff the owner didn't want anymore and no style. I was not disappointed as this unit is tastefully furnished even though a little funky. Bed linens and towels were good quality, also important. I have already recommended it to others who go to visit grandchildren in the area.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car.

This property is great--very tasteful modern decor, awesome backyard and porch area, comfy bed and a great kitchen. The neighborhood is awesome...I loved being able to walk out the door and have great neighborhood restaurants, bars and shops right on Cortland. Also, the views from the top of Bernal Heights Park are spectacular, so I highly recommend a walk up there if you have some down time. If you're looking for a great escape from the normal San Francisco tourist areas and hotels, then this property is a winner!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We had the most wonderful experience at the Boutikia home. The place is beautifully decorated with a modern look, all the pieces were carefully chosen. We were as comfortable as being at home. All furniture, utensils and equipment is in perfect conditions, we didn't have trouble with anything. They have thought of everything, it is a fully equipped home, nothing was missing to make our stay pleasant. It is located a few feet away from the Bernal Heights downtown where you can find groceries, restaurants, coffee shops, public transportation, etc. We had a car to move around town and parking was available in the same block all through our stay. We would recommend this place to everyone that wants to spend a few days in San Francisco.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My family and I stayed here and loved it! The attention to detail was amazing - fresh organic fruit and wine as well as chocolates upon arrival. The apartment is a lovely space - very light and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathroom as well (Khiel's shampoo, jasmine soap, etc.). Also - we found the support staff to be very helpful. When the heater broke they arrived within the hour with a space heater. Highly recommended!Did you find this review helpful? This place is such a gem! It is nestled right in the heart of one of the best walking neighborhoods in San Francisco, filled with sunlight and art. I came here for work in September ( a decorating job) and was so pleasantly surprised by the decor and the general vibe of the place! It feels like a chic little apartment with great touches all around. The art is gorgeously displayed, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and the back deck and yard are awesome! Succulents, bouganvillea, and a shimmering disco ball and retro BBQ make dining in/outside just as excellent as walking to one of the local cafes, all of which are amazing from Peruvian, to Nepalese, to an excellent tapas/wine bar. A bit of a private oasis to come home to after a day in the city! I was able to park out front every night, and felt very secure/safe. Oh and breakfast at the Sandbox bakery is one of the best in the city..one block away..I wandered down and enjoyed a Japanese/French inspired pastry with the other folks with their babies, a dogs..sweet neighborhood indeed..I'll stay here whenever I have the good fortune to be in SF!Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

I had a great time staying in this lovely Bernal Heights home. I stayed here with my toddler and mother for a few weeks. The location in AMAZING. So easy to walk to coffee shops, destination restaurants, grocery store, wine bars etc. My daughter enjoyed the great parks nearb (Holly Park is amazing), Bernal Heights rec center and library. Easy walk to farmers market and Mission Street. I took the bus to bart and downtown daily. The apartment itself is clean, safe and wonderfully decorated! I would stay here again for sure for another great San Francisco experience and comfortable lodging. Highly recommend for singles, couples and families, there is something for everyone here is Bernal!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This place is perfect. Great, central location steps from the center of the adorable "village" like neighborhood of Bernal Heights, but still plenty quiet. Easy street parking. Thefurnishings are straight out of a design magazine, and the owners really thought of everything. We were incredibly comfortable during our 10 day stay and would happily recommend this place to a couple visiting SF.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.
