Staying at Nicole's apartment on the Laguna in St Cyprien Plage was a really restful and happy experience. With the sea and lagoon in front complete with sunrise, and Mt Canigou from the bedroom window, it was truly peaceful. The apartment was well equipped with all modern facilities and more utensils that one would need. The upstairs bedroom was indeed very comfortable and visiting friends were able to install themselves for sleeping in the little room downstairs. We were close to all amenities, beach 10-15 mins walking. Lots to look at from the window and the little shopping centre also a few minutes. Nicole responded immediately to any questions and needs and her longtime friend, who lives not too far from here, was ever attentive and helpful regarding various excursions and outlets. There is indeed a huge variety of activities to suit everyone's taste and some rather splendid restaurants nearby. I liked it so much that I bought an apartment nearby.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children.
Owner response: Dear Suzanne, It was such a treat to have you stay at the apartment. I can't believe we are going to be neighbors now. I will continue to be there for you if you need anything, you know who to call, and I am so pleased you liked my recommandations and the friends I recommanded too. St Cyprien is such a special place, I am glad you opened your heart to it. Hoping to see you soon around the Marina.

Breakfast at Nicole's is wonderful--with pastries from the nearby bakery and a view of the boats in the harbor. The condo is comfortable, well furnished and equipped. St Cyprien is charming in itself and well located for seeing other nearby towns--notably Perpignan and Colliure. The condo development is well maintained, the staff friendly (even to us with our very limited French) the location quiet but close to the beach--all in all, a wonderful retreat. Next time, we'll go off high season which will probably be even more incredible. Highly recommend.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: Dear Emogene and David, I am so glad you enjoyed your stay at the apartment. Hopefully your next stay will be even longer and I would love to tell you about more interesting places to visit like St Martin du Canigou or Queribus. The region is rich in castles and cloisters and archeologic digs and the possibilities are endless. It would be a pleasure to have you be a guest in St CYprien again.

St. Cyprien was such a wonderful place to relax and unwind after a week in Paris. Every day was like looking at a postcard right outside the living room window - I never got tired of that view! We took day trips to Cadaques, Spain, Collioure, France, and Barcelona. We have many more in mind for our next stay! Nicole made sure we had everything we needed, and more. Can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+.

We loved Nicole's condo and highly recommend it to others. The Condo was perfect and is exactly as described in the photos and listing. It is a perfect, water view location in which you can walk to the waterfront restaurants, beach (which is gorgeous), and local grocery and shoppes. The apartment was lovely, clean, has a fresh breeze through the windows, and an open layout. We loved the apartment and St. Cyprien as a great base for exploring this area of France. There is so much to do! Nicole made our trip by giving us wonderful recommendations and ideas of restaurants, day trips, and local advice. I cannot say enough about how this part of our vacation worked out.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+.
Owner response: Dear Liz, Thank you so much for your kind review. I am so glad you had such a great time at my place and would love to have you stay there again. Happy Trails to you Nicole

We loved St. Cyprien! This duplex was ideally located and very comfortable. The owner has made sure that you will have feel at home in this charmingly decorated apartment. Everything was in excellent and working condition. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment to prepare meals, so you can choose to stay in or go out. The pool at the development at the duplex is clean, and nice if you have children. Also, all necessities were conveniently accesible, within a short walk away: bakery, markets, restaurants, and the beach. A short drive away (5 minutes) is an open air cinema. Bigger stores are also just a short drive away. I would recommend that you rent a car because there is so much to see in the area, so many wonderful little towns and sights to explore.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.

This condo by the water is a peaceful place to return to after a day of sight-seeing or shopping or going to the beach. St. Cyprien is a lovely little town near many other lovely places. We especially enjoyed going to the castle at Carcasson (where parts of the movie Braveheart were filmed) and to Couillure, the loveliest harbor town of all. The food is always good in the south of France, but do try the beachside restaurant a short walk from the condo (I even liked the fresh olives and anchovies) and Calle GoGo, which has amazing gazpacho and the best French fries in France. I love this little condo and recommend it highly to everyone seeking to experience the peace and beauty of an ancient land.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+.
Owner response: Thank you Sherrye, it was a pleasure having you stay at my apartment and I can't wait to have you come back, for another smooth, worry free stay on my little piece of paradise on the water. Thank you for your kind words, your family will always be welcomed in St Cyprien

We spent a week in Nicole's condo this fall, during our 50th anniversary trip to France. We were there the end of October and first week of November. What a great time to be in the south of France on the water. Off season is perfect, it is quiet and the fall colors and sunrises are beautiful. Even in November it was warm enough for people to be swimming in the ocean at the beach, just a few minutes walk from the condo. We are boaters so enjoyed watching all the activity in the marina. Gorgeous boats! The condo was clean and well maintained there is everything you need for cooking, we didn't need to add a thing. Large fridge and freezer and a great new washing machine. The shower in the updated bathroom was the best shower during our entire month in France! Information and maps are there for both this area and Spain. Nicole's housekeeper/friend met us when we arrived and not only gave us instructions for the condo, she took us on a tour of the area so we knew where to get fresh groceries, meat and fish. Loved all the close seaside towns for touring during the day. Nicole responded to our VRBO request right away and smoothed the way to our vacation week perfectly!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+.
Owner response: It has been a pleasure to deal with Anne and all transactions went smoothly. By next summer I will have WIFI set up for everyone convenience. For the time beeing, the Cyber Cafe next door is open May to October. I was able to answer all of Anne's questions and needs in a fast and efficient manner and because I have the privilege of having a contact person overthere at all time, it helps facilitate getting the keys, getting oriented and setteling in. Be assure that I will do my best to help with any question you will have in the future and that you can reach me at all time.

About: I am a french born US citizen with my heart in both countries, I teach french to kindergarden children and love to paint and cook. The apartment allows me year after years to do all that I love, I also have a bicycle for your use (and mine ) and I bike around everyday. Sightseeing is on top of my list too and when you will find out you can drive to Spain in 40mn go there for lunch and be back by dinner you will be hooked. I left for your use all maps and guidebooks to oriente yourself and plan your days trips, quaint villages, castels, monasteries, prehistorical digs and museum, zoo, amusement parks will be at your fingertips.
Why Perpignan:
This part of France is famous for its sunny weather, proximity to Spain (Costa Brava, Barcelona, Dali's museum in Figeres etc..)and the quality of the local wines and produce, like Banuyls wine, best peaches, nectarines and apricots from the local farms, tomatoes that actually taste like they're supposed to, fresh eggs, cheese galor, local weekly market and the list goes on ! Its a Foodie dream with local produce and weekly markets!
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
Because my unit is located right on the Marina, you have the best view possible and since the mountains meet the Mediterranee on our right, you will be able to see them too. (I left a pair of binoculars for you)
You can rent a boat, go fishing (fishing rods in upstairs closet)
