This free standing 3 bedroom, 2 bath house is perfect for your beach get-a-way. Enough seclusion for privacy and quietness yet the Ocean is in back of you only a few yards away by walking out thru your back yard and the entrance to the Bay located a few yards from the front of the house.
Ideal location for the fisherman at heart. Tacky Jacks Marina is 1/2 mile down the road with a convenience store, restaurant and bar. (Living the Dream Life!)
There is a large covered deck across the front of the house with a gorgeous view of Mobile Bay. Table and chairs are arranged on the deck making it perfect for drinking your coffee or watching the sun set while enjoying a cocktail or Ideal for reading a book.
The fully stocked kitchen has stainless steel appliances, glass top range, frig w/ice-maker, dishwasher, and plenty of linens. Pots and pans, dishes, silverware - all provided.
Your inside laundry room is located off the kitchen area on the main living level.
You have double sided covered concrete parking area below on ground level to accommodate 2 vehicles and an area to park a boat trailer or Sea Doo. Motion detector lights are positioned to light your paths to both sets of steps leading to the front and back doorways.
One bath is located on ground level and is convenient after coming in from the sand and water from the beach or bay. You have a hot and cold private enclosed shower area and a separate private toilet.
There is a concrete covered picnic area with table and benches provided for cookouts and to enjoy the lovely natural landscape with sand dunes, shells, and natural foliage all surrounding. A charcoal grill is provided for your use.
The house is decorated in Island Style with beautiful, cheerful, tropical colors to lift your spirits. There are natural pine plank floors, ceiling fans throughout, and 2 sets of sliding glass doors on the back side of two of the bedrooms- including the Master Bedroom, leading to the back deck facing the Ocean. The views are all incredible- there is a water view from every window and doorway in this house!
There is free high speed WiFi. For your convenience, you have a land line phone installed with free long distance.
One of the bedrooms offers an office area with a desk and a copy machine. A day bed is located in this bedroom and sleeps 1 person.
There are sleeping accommodations for 7 persons. The Master Bedroom has a King sized bed and the 3rd bedroom has a full sized bed. A Queen sized sofa bed is located in the Living Room Area.There is a dining room off the Living Room Area and Kitchen with Dining Room Table with seating.
There is a flat screen 42” HD TV in Living Room Area w/DVD Player. The Master Bedroom has a flat screen TV mounted on the wall.
A pizza restaurant with free delivery, a seafood restaurant and American cuisine restaurant are close by. The 4 restaurants, 3 convenience stores, seafood market, and gas station on the peninsula are quite convenient.
There are 2 golf courses and the drive to the house is simply beautiful.
A Ferry Boat at the end of the peninsula makes trips to Dauphin Island and the Sea Lab. Take a tour of Old Fort Morgan from the Civil War and go to the State Park.
You are only a few miles away from Gulf Shores and Orange Beach happenings. Concerts are performed at the Wharf in Orange Beach with famous groups. Water parks such as Waterville located on Hwy. 59 in Gulf Shores and The Track and miniature golf are fun activities for the children.
Tanger Outlet Center in Foley and Old Time Pottery are fun shopping spots. Numerous fine seafood restaurants are all around. Plenty of things to keep everyone busy with lots of fun and sun.

Family vacation in lovely Fort Morgan, Al. May is chilly this year, but we had a wonderful time at Island Dream Beach House on Fort Morgan Rd. We explored the Mobile Bay side and the beach of the Gulf. Took beautiful pictures of numerous Blue Herons. Minutes away from Hwy 59 we enjoyed a day of site seeing over the bridge to Fl and an evening at LuLus. We love the seclusion of Fort Morgan and the ferry ride back to home. We are 100 north of New Orleans.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

My wife and I had not been on a real vacation for an unfortunate number of years. Both of us are extremely happy that we decided on staying at the “Island Dream” for our first vacation in a while. The name says it all. You actually feel as if you are on an island. The home comes with beautiful beaches, water on both sides, sand, ocean breezes, wildlife and is an area of very friendly people. Far enough away from the noise with all the hustle and bustle yet close enough for us to take a short drive if we wanted to go back into civilization. The “Island Dream” was five star clean, exceptionally decorated with tasteful island tropical colors and is well equipped. The home offers all the amenities of a “personal” beach home which allowed us to feel “at home” immediately. The property managers are the owners. They were easily accessible and take pride in their property. They actually seemed to enjoy allowing others sharing in their piece of heaven. On a personal note, one thing I was pleasantly surprised with during our visit in April was that the beaches were populated with mostly families…many of which were having family picnics and enjoying their day at the beach. I highly recommend the Island Dream vacation. It is a great place to both learn to relax and have fun again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children.

Island Dream is situated perfectly to enable visitors to enjoy both the beaches on the gulf and the bay with just a short walk. The views from both decks are wonderful and there is no better spot to sit with a glass of wine and experience the famous Fort Morgan sunsets. The owners were more than helpful with our plans and are "rea"l people, not someone working for a rental company. We truly enjoyed our stay at Island Dream and hope to visit again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This house is great for a family vacation. We were a short walk from the bay and the Gulf. My husband and our family were able to enjoy the beach and fishing.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We just had an amazing time at Island Dream. The house is so beautiful and very clean. We were immediately impressed with the attention to detail that the homeowners have maintained in the home (furniture, artwork, patio chairs, kitchen appliances/cookware, etc.). There are 3 bedrooms in the house, 1 king, 1 queen, and 1 twin with a trundle. The couch in the den also opens out into a double bed. The master bedroom and the twin/trundle bedroom open out onto a beautiful deck that looks out at the Gulf. This deck is not covered so it's a great place to sit in the afternoon with a book and work on your tan. The front of the house has a beautiful covered deck that looks out onto Hwy 180 and the Bay. It's a great place for a nice shaded place to read and to watch all the runners that like to exercise while you sit back and relax. The house even has an outdoor shower and bathroom downstairs so you don't have to track any sand in the house after a day on the beach!! The house is not directly on the Gulf but just a short walk with unobstructed views of the bay and the Gulf. You truly feel as if you have the whole beach to yourself. The house states that is sleeps 6-8 but keep in mind their is only 1 bathroom upstairs in the main part of the house. You do have the luxury of having the extra bathroom downstairs but you might feel more comfortable having only 4 - 6 guests in the house. We are a family of 4 and the house fit us perfectly. The owners were extremely helpful with answering questions and recommending their favorite restaurants and attractions. Fort Morgan is a short drive about 15 minutes from Gulf Shores but well worth the drive to have the peace and quiet for lounging at the beach.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
