Oh Jeff, I wish you live nearby so I can talk to you in person and give you a big hug for sharing your house with us. When we drove up to our house in Oakland upon our return, my 3 year old started crying and said that she wants to go to our Mexico home, not this one. She's still asking when we'll go back to our Mexico home. I feel the same way. Usually, I tend to get homesick after a few days away and look forward to coming home, but darn it, not this time. Even with the mosquitos! Our trip was wonderful. The weather was great - I don't think it rained once during our trip (during the day). A bit hot, but who cares when you have a pool within a few feet and a beach not too far from that. And the airconditioned living space was a nice little "escape" every now and then. We took some day trips (PV, Sayulita, up north somewhere to a very stinky and green beach) and always came home to our retreat with a sigh of relief and were thankful that we weren't staying anywhere else. We even became accustomed to the crabs that scurried around us at all times. Thankfully, Chad didn't tell me about the boa he spotted until after we came home. Nonetheless, we're already planning our return visit. While we were there, we looked at the calendar for Amorita and noticed that you're fully booked through the end of May. Eventually, I would love to see the place and San Pancho during the high season when it's not too hot to sleep in the upstairs bedroom and when all the places in town are open. Maybe in 2008? Anyway, we'll be back next August for sure and this time for 2 weeks. We spent a couple of hours at Costa Azul (not great) and I met some people who were staying there. I ended up giving them a tour of your place and they couldn't stop oohing and aahing - they want to stay at your place next year (they'll have to fight us for it). I think Robyn sold your place to another person she met there also. So maybe the owner of Costa Azul is right - you're stealing his business! Thank you so much for sharing your paradise with us. BTW, we loved Pilar and the rest of the crew - they took very good care of us! Mia

As advertised, only better. We rented the entire complex for our extended family. Pilar, Moniko, Isabel and Yeyo were wonderful and accommodating to our (huge) group. We had a total of 23 adults and kids (including 7 staying at another house on the hill.) Great dinners (for everyone!) each night around the pool at Amorita, with plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. Beautiful beach, good surfing, sweet town. Ten minutes to Sayulita if you want more action. Truly a great bargain. Rent now, before the masses get here...

We just returned day before yesterday and I cannot begin to express our gratitude to you and your staff of Pilar and Monaco over the beautiful house, landscaping and service we experienced throughout our entire stay in SP. Your place is simply gorgeous! Your details and touches are really a compliment to your creativity and sense of style, and we were extremely grateful for the time spent there. It could not have been more enjoyable.

Jeff, Thanks for an amazing vacation week. We loved the location and the people of San Pancho. The kids kept asking why we can't move here. (I'm wondering too!) For now, vacations will have to do... Looking forward to visiting again next year.

Again, another perfect vacation at this wonderful vacation paradise. We loved our accommodations and couldn't ask for more. Everything has been thought of at this beautiful casita on the beach. Jeff and his crew in San Pancho are exceptional hosts.

Jeff, we had an enchanting stay at Casa Amorita. I chose this as the place to ask my girlfriend, Cate, to marry me (she said “yes”) and I couldn’t have chosen better. Monico was a delightful companion on a variety of adventures, Pilar prepared some incredible authentic Mexican cuisine, and we all had a delightful time. You were right – it was way better than Costa Azul. While we still have a lot of the world we want to see, we will come back to Casa Amorita.

We just spent two luxurious weeks in Casa Amorita (July '05). The house is perfect: cool -even in the heat of July-, comfortable, beautiful, relaxing, with every ammenity possible. The pool, beach, and palapa kitchen made for our own little resort, and we enjoyed it tremendously. The staff went out of their way to make our trip fun and relaxing: Moniko and Pilar both took great care of our little boy, helping to entertain him and teach him Spanish. And Pilar's cooking is terrific! The only drawback of our trip was that the little town of San Pancho was mostly closed down due to the time of year (summer vacation for many Mexicans); we didn't get to enjoy many of the nice restaurants there.

The four of us just returned from 11 nights and 12 days at Casita Amorita. We have been to many luxury villas in Mexico (both coasts) and this is by far the best. It is not only beautiful, but designed well and decorated perfectly. We have already booked Casita Amorita and Casa Tranquila for my entire family to return in February. I might as well book for 2007 as well. Loved the property, staff, town and beach! Thanks Jeff

Hello Potential Guests - I just got back from a week in San Pancho, and could not have had a better experience. Though I did not stay in this house, we put up several of our guests there. We were there to get married, and Jeff (owner) graciously allowed us to have the ceremony on the beach, right in front of this beautiful casa! Regarding the accommodations, they are absolutely first class. On VBRO you will see several beautiful vacation homes, but believe me, none as nice as this if you're looking for beachfront. This compound (2 casas, 1 casita) is right on the beach, and directly next to Costa Azul, which is the hub of beach activity in San Pancho. Plus, there are surf boards, kayaks, fishing gear, and boogie boards on-site for the guests at this house. Can't go wrong here, the house has everything. And it doesn't matter which one you choose, all three of the casa/casita are designed and built to perfection, and upkeep by the local staff could not be better. We can't wait to go back.

Rebecca and i badly needed a week, away from work, to rest and read. The week was supposed to be a simple vacation, without many expectations, and turned into a totally perfect experience. We rented both floors of Amorita with the top being home and the bottom being an open-air studio and 4 star restaurant (thanks to the sensational local cooks that Jeff arranged for us)... you look up what you want in a Mexican cook book in the morning and it appears on the table at sunset... and the flavors still resonate. Pilar is my favorite cook on the planet! The location is perfect, the surf is big and so is the sound of it, so your body begins to harmonize with the ocean's rhythm pretty quickly. The water's great, about 80 degrees, but somedays the entry, to get beyond the surf line, is not for the faint of heart. Snorkling... we listend to whales singing underwater and saw dolphin and rays. As for the local company... we made some terrific friends. The best was Jeff who is more like someone you brought with you on vacation than the person you're renting from. His dog, Cassie, is a great frind as well and spent a good deal of time with us. If you go, bring a tennis ball for her as tribute. We went kayaking, exploring, did yoga on the beach, read a lot of books, had days of great conversation... and i got a lot of much needed studio time in. Essentially, it was a perfect week, top to bottom, and we'll be going back for one or two more this coming winter... already got Amorita reserved. See you soon Jeff and Cassie!

Dear Jeff, We have been home a week today, UUUGH!! Not happy! However, back to why I wanted to connect with you. We all "loved your wonderful place". Thank you, so very much for fulfilling everything that you indicated it would be. San Pancho is our new best vacation. Pilar & Moniko were the "very best" anybody could ask for. What wonderful individuals. They enhanced the vacation 100 times over. We so appreciated that each day they checked with us to see how they could help us. Pilar's food was so enjoyed. Moniko's vast knowledge of anything we wanted to see and do was beyond our expectations. Such a gracious man. We miss them both.

Comment Text: Although we've been to Mexico dozens of times, our trip to Casita Amorita was by far the best. The view, the beautiful decor, and the wonderful staff made our stay so enjoyable. Even our 8 & 13 year olds begged to stay longer, and they hadn't touched a game-boy or laptop in 8 days! The private pool and secluded beach are awesome. The town of San Pancho has 3 excellent restaurants and the best bakery we've ever tried. Can't say enough about this wonderful casita and can't wait to go back. Thank you Jeff for creating such a special place.

jeff, we just got back from mexico and we already miss it. You have really created something amazing in casa amorita. It is beautifully designed and decorated and completely surpassed any expectations that we had! I can only imagine how marvelous it will be in another year when the work is done and the vegetation has grown. I also must commend the quality of the work done. i have stayed in many different hotels, resorts and condos in mexico and the quality and workmanship on your house is nothing short of amazing. you have done something to really be proud of. Also after visiting many other Mexican beaches i think the one at san pancho has to be the most pristine and naturally beautiful.

Welcome to Casita Amorita. We just finished this unit and wanted to invite you to come visit it yourselves. Being part of the Casa Tranquila complex, it shares all of the amenities, but it's front row and center on the beach. Here's a comment from our first guest. "This new unit is extraordinary. Both bedrooms provide a great view of the beach and the living room is well furnished. The outside palapa covered kitchen is fully equiped, only five steps from the pool, and comfortable during the heat of the day. The unit is one I would definitely recommend. You will be spoiled as all fans and the air conditioner are controllable with remotes and the bathrooms with the outside ventilation are always clean smelling. Sunsts are beautiful." I'm sure we'll have more comments in the future. Hopefully they will be yours.
