This charming, two-bedroom apartment sleeps up to six guests in the vintage Spanish/Art Deco style unique to Los Angeles. Located on a tree-lined street just off of Beverly Boulevard, guests are surrounded by some of Los Angeles’ best shopping and dining, and close to Beverly Hills and the nightlife of West Hollywood and Hollywood.
This top floor apartment in a four unit building has a spacious living room with a large picture window overlooking the tree-lined street. Contemporary furnishings include a large flat screen television and L-shaped queen sleeper sofa. Charming 1920’s architectural details include a separate sitting area nestled between a built-in bookshelf and arched front facing window, and a decorative use only, original fireplace mantel. A window air conditioning unit is in the living room. A large archway leads to the separate dining room with a formal dining table that seats six. Wall sconces at the fireplace mantel and original built-in glass door cabinets in the dining room, further enhance the period atmosphere.
The newly remodeled kitchen is accessed through the dining room or the hallway. Oak cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances including built-microwave, gas range and oven, dishwasher and refrigerator, and a built in writing desk, provide all the modern conveniences for cooking and entertaining.
The hallway leading to the bedrooms and bathroom has utility closets and built-in linen cabinets. The bathroom is refurbished with a new pedestal sink and toilet. Well-maintained Art Deco touches are seen in the hexagon floor tiles and black and white shower wall and bath tiles, as well as the hexagon privacy window. There is a bathtub and a separate shower stall.
The master bedroom is at the back of the unit with west and south facing windows dressed in floor length linen curtains. A king sized bed, dressing mirror, leather dressing bench, walk-in closet, dresser, flat screen television and a ceiling fan provide a relaxing space. The second bedroom is mid hallway and has one queen bed, floor length window curtains, a ceiling fan, closet and large writing desk. A private laundry room for this apartment is at the back entrance to the unit. Wi-Fi and cable are complementary. One open carport parking space for a small to medium sized car is in back of the building.
