Are you looking for a clean, airy, comfortable, creekside cabin that's the perfect location for the best adventures the Appalachian Mountains have to offer? That describes A DOGWOOD COVE CABIN! From spring's dogwoods to the fall colors, anytime is a wonderful time to visit! After a day of exploring a hidden cove or spending time on a trail, your cozy mountain retreat will be waiting for you. The cabin is all there is on 18 wooded acres. Since we have only one cabin, while you're our guest your comfort and enjoyment is our highest priority. The cabin is outfitted with everything you might need. All you need to bring is your suitcase and groceries!
It's private, yet only a few minutes from the Nantahala River, Lake Fontana, the Appalachian Trail, horseback riding, the famous Tsali mountain bike trails and renowned fishing streams and rivers. Other activities within a 25 mile radius include the Cherokee Indian Reservation, the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, trout farms, and much more. On the other end of the activity spectrum, a quiet day spent reading on the futon on the large screened-in porch is a favorite of many of our guests. Also on the porch is a picnic table; a wonderful setting for birdwatching, enjoying a meal or writing notes to friends back home. Sitting outside in the yard while grilling fresh trout, visiting, or just playing Frisbee can leave you wondering where the time has gone!

We have been staying here when we visit the mountains for close to a decade now. It is our top choice for vacations in the mountains. Clean and quiet, its close to all the activities we enjoy. Tsali trails, the Nantahala, Joyce Kilmer. Highly recommended.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+.
