We had a great stay at Bliss. We loved the view and had everything we needed at the condo. We made great use of the beach chairs, boogie board, noodle and cooler for our long days at the beach. Our two best days were sailing with Simplicity Charters and renting a Hobie at Cinnamon Beach. We will definitely be back to St. John!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is our third visit to St. John and our third time staying at Cruz Views villas. Bliss [#1] is by far the NICEST one we have visited. Very comfortable and private. We will be back again next year!

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful condo. It was very peaceful--our whole vacation in lovely St. John was. We enjoyed the little birds, donkeys, and trees. St. John is a gorgeous untouched island. I liked the way the condo was close to Cruz Bay but still very quiet. It was PERFECT! Thank you.

Thank you very much for sharing your warm, wonderful home with us. Everything is absolutely first rate. We loved being here and are melancholy at the prospect of leaving. We'll always remember our day trips to Hawksnest, Trunk, Cinnamon and Coral Bay. The beaches are exquisite and a visit to each of them is a must-do for all visitors. The restaurants rocked good food and offered a very warm 'home away from home' feel. We are grateful.

We love this unit! Thank you so much for sharing it. We stayed 10 days. We used the kitchen a lot and found it is well stocked! Thank you! We can tell that you take great pride in presenting a comfortable and beautiful condo to your guests. The beds and pillows were fabulous! It is so calming and welcoming to come back to this condo after a long day of snorkeling and cruising around the island. Ahh. Thanks again for a truly magical stay!

We absolutely LOVED Bliss, the island and the time we shared here. It was the perfect place to come for our honeymoon. We got to drive around the entire island, swim in Hawksnest, Cinnamon, Francis & Trunk Bay. Hawksnest was definitely our favorite. We saw jelly fish and sea turtles!! It was a great comfort to come back to a wonderful villa after a morning at the beaches. We loved the collection of movies you had here and watched pretty much all of them (we are huge movie lovers). The kitchen had everything we needed--after cooking many meals here, it really started feeling like home. We have made it our personal goal to come back to St. John--specifically Bliss, when we pay off our school debt. Bliss is a great incentive. Thank you are everything! We are very sad to leave!

The voice of the sea speaks to the soul There is nothing other than perfection from the moment you walk into Bliss...until the moment you leave, [which you hope never happens]. We walked to Honeymoon & Solomon, all up hill but so worth it. The smiles, the hellos, the atmosphere, all say "you are welcome here." As humans, we aspire to smile. It's what you will do here. Bliss offers that week or two of Paradise that [up until now you] only read about. My personal motto has always been "always remember to let love guide your heart." Here at Bliss--whoever you are with--relax, sunbathe, and soak up this fantastic view. We actually didn't rent a car and it's been totally fine. The walk is great for your calves. The tan makes it worth it. As a girlfriend on a vacation with my boyfriend who has just finished his 3rd tour in Afghanistan, this is heaven! PS. The rain on the roof sounds soooooo cool! :)

Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us. This is our second year visiting the island. Bliss gave us a feeling of home away from home!... We enjoyed all of the beaches on the North Shore! We saw sea turtles, stingray, starfish, jelly fish, nurse sharks and every kind of tropical fish you can think of! We hiked, snorkeled, swam, drove, sailed and boated our way through and around the island. We enjoyed learning the history of St. John and the surrounding islands. We visited ruins and enjoyed breath-taking views. We hope to come back soon and venture over to the BVI for some fun. We are filled with gratitude for our experiences, the people of the island, and this wonderful place to stay!

I came as part of a group for 8 joyful days. Your home was just what the doctor ordered... Location was amazing. We were close to all the conveniences but it was quiet and secluded when we needed it. We used the kitchen a lot. Your kitchen is equipped beautifully. Beds were super comfy. Hope to come back with the rest of my family. Your villa will be the one we choose!

We stayed in Bliss the last week of May. We have stayed in condos, apartments, and luxury hotels all over the Caribbean, and I must say that Cynthia has set the gold standard. The pictures really don't do justice - everything is new - everything works - the place is immaculate - the view is beautiful - the towels are fluffy - I could go on and on, but suffice it to say you cannot be disappointed. She has thought of everything you could dream of in a condo and has furnished it with quality. The only drawback is that she only has two bedrooms, not five - I would love to take the kids and grandkids to a perfect vacation place. Thanks Cynthia - we will be back.

Our family (mom, dad, 8 year old girl) had an amazing February vacation staying at Bliss. It was wonderfully appointed (even with a new Keurig coffee maker, bring your favorite K-cups!), and was a perfect location for getting to the best beaches. We snorkeled and took a day-long boat trip to the BVIs through the Westin Resort, and had great meals in and out. The sunsets on the balcony really can't be beat. The beach and restaurant recommendations from the owner are very useful and we would definitely stay at Bliss again when returning to St. John.

I'm glad you liked the Keurig (I can't live without one anymore); guests should receive enough k-cups for their first breakfast in their Welcome Baskets and if they can't find k-cups at the local grocers for their remaining days, I also have a k-filter at Bliss that allows you to use regular ground coffee in it. I agree with you that the sunsets (and sea views!) from our balcony can't be beat and neither can the proximity to those amazing National Park Beaches on St. John's North Shore (my favorites by far). I'm so glad you had a great time and look forward to welcoming you back to Bliss.

My girlfriend and I spent a lovely week staying at Bliss in February. We fell in love with the island and could not have been happier with the views, comfort and convenience of Bliss. The views from the condo are breathtaking and it is tastefully decorated with a great kitchen and two lovely bedrooms. We'd come every night and grill fish on the porch and take in the beautiful vibe and lovely evening breeze. Would certainly like to visit the St. John again and would love to stay at Bliss.

A wonderful retreat with all the comforts of home, luxury of a fine hotel plus the addition of a spectacular ocean view would describe Bliss. The unit is completely updated and very tastefully decorated with soothing spa colors. My favorite activities were sitting on the outside patio early morning, watching birds and boats coming and going from the island and then later taking in the spectacular sunsets from the same perch. Famous beaches and town were easily accessible by car, but the lovely pool was only a minute away on foot. I would highly recommend this retreat. The owner is personally involved with your stay and has thoughtfully provided items to insure a wonderful vacation.

Blissful Stay in Paradise

This condo was so well-designed, classy and comfortable it was the whipped-cream-with-a-cherry-on-top of our family vacation! We spent a week here with our two young adult daughters and felt right at home. We walked to town, swam in the pool, walked to the grocery store daily and had our own (coveted) parking place for our rented jeep. Every morning was coffee on the deck and every evening we relaxed after dinner looking down on the lights of town, St Thomas in the distance and the car ferry going lazily back and forth between islands. I brought my ipad and the internet connection, tvs, movies and stereo entertained us after long days of hiking, sailing, snorkeling and reading on the beach. We read some books we found in cupboard - I highly recommend The Tiger! The owner was first rate, calling to check on us and helping in any way she could. You won't find better, more friendly service anywhere! So thanks for everything to Bliss and its owner. This place has been appropriately named.

We spent a blissful week at Cruz Views #1 [Bliss]. We won't forget early mornings with coffee and a book on the patio. The unit is beautifully renovated and just right for our family of 4. We look forward to returning soomer rather than later.

Perfect Stay at Bliss

My husband and I just returned from a week long stay at Bliss with our 9 month old son. We were married on St. John 8 years ago and return as often as we can. We have stayed at 4 different places and have searched every option available on the island for a place that has all of the features we want that is in our price range. Our search has ended! Having stayed in another unit at Cruz Views on a previous visit we already knew that the location, pool, views, and general property were great. We were excited to see that this unit had been renovated to include so many upgrades from the other units. The photos and descriptions don't do it justice! The layout, kitchen, and bathroom were just incredible. The central AC made it extra comfortable, something we were looking for since we were traveling with a baby this time. The owners and the management company that works with you on the island were extremely helpful. Prior to our arrival they moved the bed in the downstairs room so that we could set up our son's crib and also had the upstairs beds made up as a king for us. The owner's checked in with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We cooked most of our meals in the kitchen but loved being so close to Cruz Bay to run in and pick up food or drinks. We used the pool every day and loved it, especially since it is saline filtered- no chlorine! We spent lots of time relaxing and enjoying the view from the deck and our son loved all of the humming birds and finches that stopped by to visit. I could go on and on... we can't wait to return to Bliss!

Have had the privlege of seeing the dramatic upgrade following the newly re-decorated unit. WOW!! What a difference!! I totally understand (being a true lover of St.John) that the awsome, true beauty of the island should be the main reason for traveling here. I also understand that words canot describe nature at its finest to those who have not yet had the opportunity to visit this paradise. With that being said, how great it is to have all that and more...a beautiful, peaceful place to come back to at the end of an adventurous day. I highly recommend this clean and newly re-decorated condo, with home-like comfort, for all who love the natural beauty of St, John and also loves a "posh lifestyle". Great location and great mix of natural stones, colors and landscaping with picturesque views of the island. Great kitchen/bath/windows and A/C with pool. Very comfortable and beautiful! Can't wait to return in 2012!
