Stayed in 206 in March 2010 , had everything we needed and was very clean . Compared th $600 a nite at the Grand Wailea or Four Seasons for non view room , you could easily stay twice as long , and save a bundle cooking (bbq'ing) , and be oceanfront in Wailea , steps from the beach . Larry and Sharon are fantastic people to deal with , I will be back next year .

"We had an amazing time in unit 206:) The place is tastefully elegant and has everything you could ask for plus more! The sunsets from the lanai are unbeatable! Snorkelling at Keawakapu beach next door was awesome! The Surfside was welcoming and we will definately be back!!! Mahalo!"

This condo has all of the comforts of home. The owners pay attention to detail. The view was awesome and we were lucky enough to see whales while we were at the condo. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on during a vacation! The big screen tv was a plus in the evenings while relaxing. We will book this condo again next time we are in Maui! Even saw a Manta Ray on reefs at Ulua! So much to do here in Maui & we covered it all...Haleakela sunrise/bike. Warren and Annebelles, IAO Needlehike, dinner cruise, feast at Lele, dinner at Sorrentos, drive to Hana and zipline at Piiholo Ranch! "This was my husbands and my 5 year anniversary trip. We had so much fun! The condo was great! It had everything I needed. Plus the views are amazing. I greatly enjoyed all the little animals on the grounds. There is "Dan the Duck", and Willy is a little bird that comes in the condo from time to time (not recomended - management). Scuba Shack is great for diving & snorkel. It was n]my husbands birthday and they got him cake!Enjoy the Island and the condo!!"

"Wow! What an amazing location. We couldn't have been happier! We got married out bat Po'ahlenalena at sunset on 8/14. Amazing! We snorkelled with the turtles which was so cool! "Mahalo for a lovely condo! We enjoyed every moment here in maui. We would recommend da Kitchen for a local plate lunch. Og course, the beachesare outstanding and the location can't be beat. We tried the waffle maker - yummy! Waffles with pineapple, banana, macadamia nuts and coconut syrup - nothing quite like it! A visit to South Maui Bike Shop can set you up with a nice rental bike. Ask for Tim - he's real nice!:) There is so much to see and so much to do here. Don't forget to relax and watch the breathtaking sunsets from the balcony. Again, mahalo and much Aloha!"

"Holy Smokes! This place is great - thank you for sharing such a great condo - we came as part of a wedding party and the facilities/beach couldn't have been more perfect! We grilled here, enjoyed the Old lahaina Luau, and treasured the wedding at Makena Cove. The beach was so much fun - we used the snorkel gear and the boogie boards and are very appreciative of both. Loved the place. Recommend going out just before the sun goes down to meet the neighbors...they blow on conch shellsas the sun sets. Left here at 3AM to see Haleakela sunrise.. got there at 5:10. It was 40 degrees on top. Fireworks at Lahaina was fun. Definately go to Front Street in Lahaina.

"Thanks Larry and Sharon! We love what you have done with #206. I think the kitchen is amazing and everything I needed was there. This was our 25th anniversary + 25 years at the Surfside. We have spent a few hours sitting on the lanai, watching the whales. What a show! We still enjoy the Sea Watch for a good late breakfast or lunch. Charley's in Paia is also fun. If you want some down home atmosphere with good food, Try the Makawao Steakhouse. Thanks again and aloha and Mahalo!"

We've had a wonderful 2 weeks at the Kihei Surfside, great weather, great people and a great place. The renos are gorgeous, we really enjoyed this unit. We had our 1 year old in Maui for the first time so it was a little different, more time at the beach but we still hit our favorite spots, mama's Fish House and \sorrentos. We're sad to leave but we'll be back soon.

The week is drawing to a close...we are waiting for the final, gorgeous sunset. This was our first trip to Maui...but NOT our last. We loved this condo. The view was unbeatable and tyhe location could not have been better. We have stayed in many vacation rentals but never one so well equipped. We enjoyed watching the sea turtles from the rocks beyond the boat ramp. PS - The little bird who comes inside the condo everyu chance he gets is "willy".

The past week has gone by too quickly! This was our second stay at the Kihei Surfside and I know we will keep coming back. Thanks for the great amenities and awsome decor in this condo! We barbequed most nights and splurged at Sorrentos one night - highly recommended. Also, sitting out on the beach at night with the stars and waves. The snorkelling right out front is great if you don't mind eels, multiple varieties of fish and sea turtles! For more snorkelling, try thr Seafire out to Molokini (leaves from boat dock close to here). We love this spot because it has so much within walking distance. Thanks again...

Fifth stay at Kihei Surfside - just as great as always. Suite 206 well equipped with toys and all amenities. Had a great Haleakela trip. Surfing with Maui Wave Runner is good too. Do eat at Cafe O'Lei. Buy gifts at the open air markets on S. Kihei Rd. Definately read "Maui Revealed" which has great advice on ALL Maui activities. We need to get back SOON!

Beautiful Hawaii - we did just about everything, ate most of the fish and drank mass qualtities of Bikini Blonde Lager (highly recommended). The condo gave us good sleep& beautiful views.
