Enjoy incredible ocean views from almost every room in the house! Villa 4 sleeps 6 people. Take in the ocean view, sunsets, and fresh breeze from the front or upper deck. There are 3 bedrooms with new luxury mattresses and 3 baths. The master bedroom on the first floor has a queen sized bed & full bath. The 1st and 2nd floor guest bedrooms have 2 twin beds and full baths. This is an ideal layout to accommodate a family or 3 couples for the perfect getaway. Enjoy exploring the island in our 2 four person golf carts.
Bald Head Island Country Club Temporary Membership is included in the rental rate! The Bald Head Island Club is adjacent to the Villas and includes an award winning 18 hole golf course, 4 tennis courts, a playground, workout facility, swimming pool, croquet course, plus casual and fine dining. Kids camps and babysitting can be arranged through the Bald Head Island Club. Fall in love with the island as you discover it's 14 miles of beaches.
Bald Head Island is only accessible by boat or by a ferry, which departs frequently out of Southport, NC. Southport is 30 minutes from the Wilmington, NC (ILM) airport. The magic begins when you take the 20 minute ferry ride off the mainland. You will see lighthouses and occasionally dolphins during your ride to the island. A tram ride to the villa is included with your ferry ticket. Visitors and residents travel around the island by golf cart, bike or by foot.
This is a great island for cycling, running, bird watching, star gazing, and fishing. Surfing is popular on the East side of the island. Enjoy paddle boarding, canoeing, and kayaking in the creeks of the middle island. These items can all be rented on the island. Villa 4 comes with 4 adult beach bikes & 2 kids bikes. Please bring your own helmets. Additional bikes can also be rented. Climb to the top of “Old Baldy,” which is the oldest lighthouse on the East coast. It was built in 1817 and originally commissioned by George Washington! Hike and wind your way around live oaks hundreds of years old and through the paths of the Maritime Forest. An upscale market, spa, and shopping area is a short golf cart ride away. Discover the Bald Head Island Conservancy at the end of South Beach, where you can learn about the island’s wildlife. Sign up for classes, including the popular evening “turtle walks” to search for and observe nesting Loggerhead Turtles or even their hatchlings heading to the ocean for the first time!
We have an professional property manager, who will greet you on the day of your arrival and will be available to you as needed. The villa has been painted with no VOC paints and is maintained and cleaned with environmentally friendly products. Our kitchen is fully equipped, plus linens, towels, beach towels, and departure maid service is included.

Great villa right next to the BHI Club! We had 5 adults in our group, and we were very comfortable the entire time. The Owner was also very nice and helpful before our trip to make sure we had all of the information we needed before we got there. The villa is literally across the street from the beach and right along a main road - South Bald Wynd - about 5 minutes from the dock by golf cart. We took advantage of the pool, fitness center, and restaurants at the club while we were there, and all are exceptional. Golf course looked very nice too but was a little pricey, especially if renting clubs. For the price, this villa was just what we were looking for and we would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful time staying at this Villa on BHI toward the end of August. The owners were great to work with in the weeks and months leading up to our stay. When we arrived the Villa was clean, well stocked with toys, baby items, beach items, etc. The layout and decor are very beachy and the views are as good as it gets given its position toward the front of the Villas. We stayed with 4 adults and two boys under 3. Everyone had plenty of room and activities. Proximity to the BHI club was great for quick jaunts to the pool, playground, etc. The Villa cul de sac was great for our 2 year old learning how to ride his bike. We had lots of extended family and friends on the island this week as well so having 2 golf carts and lots of bikes allowed everyone to come and go as needed to meet up with others. Overall, we loved our stay and would recommend this Villa to anyone. The hardest part is always leaving BHI, but we hope to be back soon and would happily stay here again!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My family just got home from a long weekend at the villa, and we had a fabulous time. The view from the villa is fantastic (great for watching the sun set); it's in a great location (right next to the BHI club, tennis courts and pool; an easy bike ride to Old Baldy; short golf cart ride to the market and shops); the villa is really well-equipped (had everything we needed for cooking, good linens, bikes, golf cart, wireless access, large TV, etc.) and was really comfortable; and being on Bald Head makes it easy to unplug. We highly recommend this villa!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: We have been vacationing on Bald Head Island for 12 years and it quickly became our family's favorite place on earth! We finally purchased a home and we look forward to sharing it with you. Our family enjoys golfing, tennis, crabbing, hiking and fishing adventures on the island. We all love to climb to the top of Old Baldy Lighthouse to experience the majestic views of the island. The Bald Head Island Club does an incredible job planning and coordinating events and fun activities for visitors of all ages. There are always fun and exciting things to discover on the island. Our favorite things about Villa 4 are it's panoramic ocean views and incredible proximity to beach, golf course, playground, tennis courts, deli, dining rooms & swimming pool.
