About the owner: My wife and I are lifelong visitors to Nantucket with deep family roots to the Island. We have been searching for our own home for a long time. Our home in Miacomet has all the things we were looking for including location, privacy and classic island feel. We look forward to sharing it with our guests who we know will enjoy it as much as we do.
Why the Owner Chose Miacomet:
Having family who live in the local area, we have come to appreciate Miacomet as our favorite part of the island for a number of reasons. The area possesses everything you need without having to travel long distances and fight the summertime traffic. The south shore beaches are beautiful and uncrowded, Bartlet Farm has all the food and fresh produce you will need, and if you enjoy golf, Miacomet Golf course is just 3 minutes away by car or a short walk. We understand all Nantucket has to offer and that is why we chose to own a home in the Miacomet area.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
In addition to the easy access to fantastic beaches, food, golf and public transportation, when you decide to head downtown for some shopping or dining, you can take the back way, avoiding the major intersections and be on main street in a matter of minutes. Town is a easy bike ride as well, and the house is walking distance to the Wave Shuttle stop which will take you anywhere around the island.
