The perfect place to enjoy all the water sport activities on the lake, or a quiet swim right down the hill at the dock, 15 feet deep at the end of the dock. Great game room to round out the day, this home equipped for fun filled family vacation. Paddle boat and canoe, make this the perfect place to create great vacation memories. Don’t forget you can bring the dog!
The entry level features the kitchen and living room/dining room area with a fireplace and flat screen TV. Sliding glass doors leading to a deck overlooking the lake, enjoy the porch swing, a meal on the deck, maybe something special from the grill, or just sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Also on the entry level, a bedroom with a queen size bed, and a full bath await you.
Up one flight of stairs brings you to the loft which overlooks the entry level living area. On this level you will find a second bedroom with a queen size bed with access to its own private balcony with fantastic views. You'll also find the 2nd full bathroom and the kid's bedroom. The kid's room has a twin over full bunk bed set plus another twin bed.
On the lower level you'll find the 4th bedroom with a king sized bed and the 3rd full bathroom. Other than that, the lower level is all fun and games and features a pool table, flat screen TV, kid's game corner, puzzles, books, and board games. There is a wet bar area with microwave and coffee maker and an additional refrigerator. You will also find a full size washer and dryer for your convenience. Exit the game room to the lower level covered deck and terrace.
The gently sloped path leads to the water's edge featuring stationary dock with party deck. At the dock area - swimming is great, deep water in a secluded cove - no wake zone! You can fish, or jump off the top part of the dock and swim around without being annoyed by boats, or wakes. A pedal boat and canoe are also available for you to enjoy. We are close to Bridgewater Plaza where there are numerous stores, restaurants, and night time entertainment. There are several places close by to rent boats, personal watercraft, and tubes.

Liked the location and quite cove. Unhappy that when we rented it said there was wifi and when we got to the home there was no wifi. We have rented in the area 5 other times and never had a laundry problem. There was no note to say not to wash white clothes. All white clothes were ruined with some brown/red stains on them. We called because one of the beds didn't have sheets not realizing the twin sheets were left on the queen bed which meant the queen bed had no sheets. Someone did come and gave us twin sheets. We didn't call again for that correction. O/w we really liked the house. We ate at jakes place which our meals were all very good. We had poor service at Los machados -people were served before us that were seated after us. The drinks ( ice tea and soda) had a funny taste to them. We ended up leaving prior to our order being taken. We waited a long time and it wasn't busy. The homestead creamery is always worth the drive for ice cream.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

The listing was not entirely accurate. No Wifi The photographs show the proporties appearance correctly. The property was not clean inside (carpet, refig, bed matresses were black) and out (cobwebbs everywhere, porch not clean, dirty chairs) The air conditioner leaked into the downstairs bedroom onto the carpet The water quality is bad...bring bottled water. The upper deck over the water shakes enough to make you sea sick I would not recommend this property for anyone over 55 and esp if you have any handicap. The outside steps are narrow and has no railing and did not fit the landscape will and the inside bottom steps to the basement are awkard and dangerous with a couch to close to the last step. The driveway in is a challenge and it's hard to get in and out of your car.Owner response: The WIFI issue is totally my fault. We intended to have WIFI, but our satellite service stopped carrying it. I removed the amenity from our HomeAway ad, but forgot to update the VRBO ad, that now has been corrected. A couple of quick things, regarding the cleanliness, this is the first I am hearing of this. I could have worked to correct it, if I knew about it. I was there 2 weeks prior to this, and the mattresses were clean, I am not sure what that issue is. As you can see from the pictures, we are in a very wooded area, twigs, leaves, etc... are going to fall on the decks. To prevent future questions of cleanliness, I will speak to the cleaning service to make sure all inside and outside procedures are being followed. I would like to point out that all stairs and decking recently under went an inspection and they all pass code and are safe. The stairs to the dock do not have to have railings because they are low to the ground and follow the contour of the slope. All areas around the lake are hilly, that is what creates such wonderful views around the lake, with that comes the possibility of parking or driving on hills, stairs down to the water, etc... I do not think my property is any different than others with regards to that. The AC leak was brought to our attention on the last night of their stay. Although I was bummed to hear we had repairs to make, I was glad it was on their last night so it did not cause them problems. I was also told by the renters that it was no problem because the AC was working and no one was even staying in that room. Yes, there is a couch in the basement, but as you see from the pictures, there is plenty of room between the stairs and the couch. If a previous renter moved the couch, there is plenty of room to move it to give the clearance needed. Sometimes we as owners have to rely on renters feedback to know what is going at our properties. If we do not hear about something, we can not fix or change it. We only recently learned of the water issue because no one told us. We had already been working to correct this and had a new water filtration, softener system installed July 30th, about a week after their stay. One last thing, there is no trash pickup in our area, it is clearly stated in the rental contract and check out procedures that it is the renters responsibility to remove all trash. This was not done.

Beautiful location!! The house was very clean and well maintained. We had absolutely gorgeous weather while we were there and were able to get out in the canoe and peddle boat that comes with the rental of the home. The owner was awesome and very available by phone when I had some questions. Overall it was a fantastic vacation and I definitely recommend this place!! Copied from HomeAway.com. We need quite time away after a very stressful year and we got what we were looking for. The location was quite and remote but very easy to find. We found everything as described. The home was clean and very comfortable. the owner was great to work with and we met one the day we arrived and he was very helpful. The weather was from cold and rainy to warm and sunny so we used the game room and fireplace as well as time exploring the lake and being teased by the fish. We spent one day in Bedford at the memoral and exploring. We ate at the local sports bar as we were late going out one night and returned for the prime rib special. The week went to fast. The only thing that took a few min to figure out was parking the boat trailor. A little more clearing at the road to park it there might help. Other wise we found things wonderful. We were very found of the recliners by the fire place for watching the cold rain. Between the windows and the mountains the moon seemed to move several directions and keep us guessing but was great to watch on a cold night. Great time. Copied from HomeAway.com. We had a wonderful stay at this house. We were there for Thanksgiving weekend, the weather was fabulous and we were able to enjoy the outside area as well as the inside. The dock was great for fishing. We traveled with our dog and it was a great area for her to run around and play. Loved the dining room table for doing jigsaw puzzles and the pool table was great in the basement. Plenty of room for 5 people, loved that there were full bathrooms on each level. This was our first trip to the area and we will be returning when the weather is warmer - loved it! Thanks so much for opening your house to allow visitors to enjoy.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
