This bright studio garden suite is located just a block from Commercial Drive which was voted as one of North America's hippest neighbourhoods. On 'The Drive' you will find transit, grocery stores, coffee shops, live music, entertainment, and various ethnic restaurants to suit every taste. The suite is also close to a number of parks including McSpadden Park, Victoria Park and Trout Lake which hosts the farmer's market every Saturday throughout the summer. It's a short drive or bus/skytrain ride to downtown and a 30 minute drive to the local ski hills.

About the owner: I have lived in the area for over 10 years and love it. I enjoy the outdoors, from biking and hiking in the summer to skiing (sort of) and snowshoeing in the winter.
Why the Owner Chose Commercial Drive:
We bought our house in 2010 and decided to start a vacation rental. We had always had difficulty finding somewhere for our family to stay when they were in town; there aren't many places to stay in our neighbourhood. With our garden suite we can now rent in out and have it free for when family is in town.
The Unique Benefits at this Studio:
Our suite is located just one block away from Commercial Drive where we go to buy groceries or grab a cup of coffee and a delicious muffin from JJ Bean, all just a block or two away. The suite is on a very beautiful tree lined street. Just recently the neighbourhood took action to stop the city from chopping down many of the trees on our street and we won! There are many parks in the area, most with tennis courts.
