This is our second stay at this Rental. We absolutly love this home! We speak of it so often, that this year....relatives joined us! Great stay had by all. Our lil yorkie Rex loves running in the large yard. Beds are as comfy as home. Just a calm peaceful view along with the beautiful interior. Pool was heated for us (nice plus) and we used the hot tub daily, even after the snow storm!! Did a little fishing (river was so very clear) made use of the new ping pong table along with the pool table,in the exterior garage. We will be back again next year. cant wait! A MUST RENT BY ALL!!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Pictures do not do the property justice! The home, pool and hot tub were perfect. Caught trout every day, and the trip was topped off with 3 inches of snow. Swam in the heated pool with snow flakes peppering down! Was one of the best vacations ever, and the home and owner was an important part! Tha home is well appointed, and John the owner was very responsive to our every need. The property is perfect for pets. it has a side fenced yard, and we wish we had taken ours. We can't wait until the next chance to go back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway.

We have stayed in many different places in Mountain Home and this is the best place we have stayed. John the owner came to meet us and he was as nice as could be. The house has everything that you could possibly need. We went into town one time to stock up and stayed there the rest of the time. The pool is very refeshing and you can't beat a late night swim under the thousands of stars in the sky. In the morning I would walk down to the dock and watch for the eagles and other birds doing some of their own fishing. This was the most relaxing vacation I have had. We have found the place to stay everytime we come to Mountain Home. Thank you very much John and Michelle for sharing your home with us.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This place is crazy nice, especially on the hot Arkansas days. We stayed during a super hot heat wave (105 F) and if the pool doesn't cool you off, try a swim in the river. House was totally tricked out with inside/outside stereo and all the comfort amenities you would find in a luxury home. We caught several hundred trout in the backyard wading in the river, and also took a nice float trip downstream one afternoon.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

The home is beautiful. When we walked in, I couldn't believe how stunning the place was. The owners are nice and have great taste in decor. The entire house has a relaxing but classy vibe to it. Everything was first class -- the pool, the lights, the sound system, the house. Perfect vacation for relaxing in a place that is away from the hustle and bustle. The scenery is breathtaking. Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, define this vacation home! We absolutely loved our stay here! My husband and I have Decided this WILL be our annual trip! We enjoyed our daily Swim, hot tub, game room. The side fenced in yard was perfect For our lil Yorkie Rex to run in. The home is amazingly clean, Along with organized. Pack your bags, pick up groceries And you are set for the week! we took owners and advice, tried the local diner! EXCELLANT food! Next time we will be sure to bring our poles Along with clothing/shoes for hiking. So much fun, plenty to do,with time to read and relax. Thank you for opening up your home to us, Can't wait for a return visit! When we arrived at this home and walked inside, it took my breath away! Honestly! I hugged the owner John, whom I might add is the nicest person!! The entire home and view is absolutely amazing, something off of a postcard. These pictures don't do it justice however mine didn't either, you must go to see yourself. The privacy allows you to be yourself and to enjoy the peaceful area, sitting in the hottub, music playing on the patio, and watching the river. You can also fish if you'd like. The pool was heated perfectly to our likes and the hottub was better for late night after the sun went down since the weather was cool. They even have the pool and hottub where it changes colors, our kids were amazed at that!! The 3 bedrooms allowed us 6 to sleep very comfortably. The master bedroom is nice and big with a spacious bathroom and shower. The home is beautifully decorated by Michelle. Our two dogs loved having their own huge yard to play. The kitchen has all the utencils you need and love the spacious open look. The gameroom is so much fun playing pool and foosball and working out if you like. The train coming thru about 3 times a day is fun to hear, however if you aren't aware of it, it can make you jump! haha I can't think of anything this house lacks except us being back there!!! We will plan another vacation there in the future. Perfect for a couple, friends, girl trip or families. Just returned from 6-night stay at this magnificent property. In our party were 4 adults, 2 kids and 1 dog and the house was a great size for us. The house itself is beautiful - the pictures really don't do it justice. It has an open concept layout, perfect for hanging out together as a family. The master bedroom is huge, the other rooms were a good size and most importantly all of the beds were extremely comfortable. The games room in the garage also proved to be a highlight for everyone, especially the kids. The outdoor pool and hot tub were incredible. We were there in the month of December and we were outside swimming everyday. The surrounding scenery made it the perfect place to be. The White River is gorgeous (which you can view from the poolside) and we caught a number of trout off the dock in the backyard. It's such quiet and peaceful location yet it’s only 20 minutes from town if anything is needed. Lastly, I can't say enough about the owners. They were extremely friendly and provided us with excellent information on a number of recreation options to meet the needs of everyone in our family. We would highly recommend this property to couples or families looking for that perfect getaway spot.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

It is even better than in the photos. Nothing nicer than sitting out in the jacuzzi looking out over the river as the sun sets. Good spot to catch some trout when the river is down and you wade out a little. The owners were extremely nice and we look forward to returning to the house. Very secluded area and very comfortable house.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.
