This sunny townhouse is located in a quiet neighborhood with incredible access to all that Mammoth Lakes has to offer no matter what the season. Annual festivals such as Bluesapalooza, Oktoberfest & Mammoth Lakes Jazz Jubilee are a short walk away, as is the 'Village' providing great restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The town shuttle stops at the bottom of our street & also runs directly behind the townhouse along Lake Mary Rd which is also the location of the paved Lake Mary bike path. Inside we have taken care to update this mountain home & provide as allergin free an environment as possible. The sunny upstairs has wood floors, wood burning stove, fully equipped kitchen & plenty of room to entertain. Broadband WiFi access is free and we have a selection of DVD's available to play on our 44in flat screen TV. Downstairs our two carpeted bedrooms have plenty of closet space, 32in TV's, alarm clocks. For your convenience there is a washer/dryer & a Wii system (limited games) The Kitchen The kitchen has all stainless appliances and since this is our mountain retreat we generally have a selection of spices and some basic supplies available for your convenience. We have a coffee maker, coffee grinder and electric kettle for those tea drinkers! Blender, hand mixer and baking dishes are available for those home cooked meals! There is a microwave and the oven is an electric / convection combination with glass range top. For the chef's assistant there is a dishwasher to make clean up easy. The dining area has a round table with four chairs and two additional bar stools to seat six when needed. Not planning on cooking? We have a great choice of local restaurants. Many offer 'Happy Hour' deals with hours ranging from 3pm-7pm. A selection of menus is available in the townhouse. Von's is our local grocery store, and they can provide all the supplies you may need. Bedroom / Bathrooms We tried to keep our townhome as allergin free as possible and for that reason we do not accommodate pets of any kind. All of the flooring with the exception of the bedrooms are hard surfaces. In the bedrooms we have carpeted floors and for your comfort have allergin free duvets. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed and 32' flat screen television. Alarm clocks are provided. The rear downstairs bedroom has a closet with the washer and dryer for your convenience. The bathrooms both have ceiling heaters and hairdryers. There are some beach towels available should you choose to go swimming. Living The living room has a woodstove with local stone hearth. A supply of wood is available during the winter months. The living room also doubles as the third sleeping area there is a closet area adjacent to the woodstove and guests have access to the upstairs bathroom. A full size sleeper sofa is available for guests. There is a 44' flat screen television with cable provided as well as free broadband WiFi access. A laser printer and copier is available for your convenience. There is a DVD player and also a Wii system. Limited movies / games are available. We also have a selection of board games and some books as well as information about the local area. Beach towels, lawn chairs, sun umbrella and a small rolling cooler can be made available as well as a set of adult & child golf clubs and fishing rods.

Tyrol Lane is located at the intersection of Lake Mary road and Kelly road approx 0.5 mile downhill walk to the Village at Mammoth. The free town shuttle has stops on Kelly Road & Lake Mary Road (schedules vary with season) providing easy access to the Village, Eagle, Canyon and Tamarack lodges. The shuttle can also take you further into town for groceries (Von's) and additional restaurants and shopping. For bikers the townhouse is adjacent to the paved Lake Mary bike trail. Tyrol Lane dead ends into woods that provide access to the Juniper Mountain bike trail and experienced skiers can ski in/ski out from this location.
Other Activities: The Eastern Sierra provides a magnificent backdrop for a multitude of outdoor activities. Located 40 minutes south of the western entrance to Yosemite
Golf: Mammoth Lakes' two golf courses are located at the highest elevation in California. Sierra Star Golf Course is an 18 hole par 71 course featuring tree-lined fairways, well-trapped greens, spectacular mountain views, and tranquil lakes & streams. The course is 1.2 miles from the townhouse.
Snowcreek Golf Course located 2.3 miles away is a par 35, nine hole course and is surrounded by Mammoth Meadow with unobstructed views of the Sherwin Range, Mammoth Mountain and the White Mountains.
Ski: Mammoth Mountain has a summit over 11,000 feet & 3500+ skiable acres & 150+ named trails with the longest run stretching over 3 miles. With average snowfall of more than 400 inches, we have one of the longest ski seasons and can operate as late as 4th of July! Unbound Terrain Parks are 7 parks spread over 90 acres with three half pipes. Disco Park, Wonderland, X-course, Forest Trail, Jibs Galore, South Park & Main Park are groomed nightly.
The town's free shuttle operates from the end of our street (on Kelly Rd) & behind our townhouse (Lake Mary Rd) providing access to the Village, Canyon, Eagle & Tamarack Lodges.
Cross country / Nordic skiers and snowshoers will enjoy the 19 miles of trails at nearby Tamarack Cross Country Ski Center (2.3 miles away) or the 9 miles of public trails of the Mammoth Lakes Nordic Trail System in town (2.2 miles away).
Ice skating, sledding, dog sledding, tubing, snowmobiling are all nearby. Schedules may vary based upon weather conditions.
