The apartment is in a very central location just between the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo areas. Enjoy a comfortable and nicely furnished apartment with a very good layout for two couples or families.
Location
Located between the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo areas, few hundred meters from Via del Corso this is a stately area with many sidewalk cafes, restaurants and easy walking distance to many of the sites. Most convenient is the Metro (subway entrance) at Piazzale Flaminio (5 minutes walking). The Metro will whisk you off to places such as the Coliseum, the Vatican and the train station.
It is 10 minutes walk to the Spanish Steps and 3 minutes to Piazza del Popolo and just at the corner with via del Corso, which are your gateway to fashion shopping and many excellent restaurants and cafes. Beyond are the Trevi fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and the Campo dei Fiori areas.
The Borghese Gardens (Pincio), one of Rome's largest public parks, is just above Piazza del Popolo so if you want to stroll, jog, or bicycle, it is very convenient. And if you have children, this is a great place to take them. Two of Rome's most famous museums, the Villa Borghese and Villa Giulia, are just a few minutes walk from the apartment.
We enjoy staying in this area since the 'livin is easy': subway nearby, good supermarkets, a fresh vegetables market and typical small food shops within a 5-minute walk, several good cafes for our morning cappuccino, several favorite restaurants, long strolls through the Borghese Gardens, and two parkings for taxis in piazza del Popolo and Piazza di Spagna and several 5-star hotels in the area so taxis are readily available. Just the right balance of city life, amenities, good food and park access.
Exterior
The apartment is located in a 15th century small building, with a small and very pretty, recently renovated, court, in a small street between via di Ripetta and via del Corso, with a nice café, where you can have breakfast and quick lunches, just in front and two typical Italian restaurants next door.
Interior
The apartment has been freshly renovated with modern amenities, comfortable and tasteful decor and modern Italian furniture. As soon as you enter you are in the large living room with a dining corner. To the right of the living room is the fully equipped kitchen and thereafter the laundry facilities from one side and the cosy terrace to the other.
To the left side of the entry area are the two bedrooms. The twin bedded room is to the left with one sofa bed and another one just under it, which would become two twins beds. The bathroom with enclosed shower is opposite. Straight ahead is the master bedroom and bathroom. Master bathroom has bath tub with shower sprayer. the Twin beds bedroom has an ample closet space. Another wardrobe is in the corridor.
The windows of the living - dining room overlook the street, while both bedrooms and terrace overlook internal courtyards. This is a major bonus, since the sounds of the busy streets of Rome during shopping hours will not reach you here. This comfortable, pleasant and well maintained apartment is a very pleasant retreat from the bustling city center.

We stayed for 5 days in April with our 3 children and the apartment was perfect for us. The location is amazing. It's so central and we could walk to everything. Tommaso was very helpful and also responded immediately to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this apartment . It's clean and bright and in the heart of everything and helped make our stay in Rome very memorable.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers.

Excellent location, very well maintained and spotless. Helpful and easygoing owners. Perfect apartment for us (2 friends) with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Also nice to have a computer as well as wifi so we both could work simultaneously although connection was erratic on occasions. Appreciated that there were essentials such as soap for washing machine and dishwasher. In a perfect world would have liked a couple of easy chairs for reading. Also would have been nice to have some wine glasses although there was a wine merchant nearby who sold us six. None of these small issues impacted at all on a stress-free holiday. Would recommend this apartment for up to 4 people. You can walk to all the major sights, and there are some excellent restaurants within 10 minutes stroll. Café across the street from the front door friendly, courteous and efficient. Excellent coffees.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family of six (including four teenagers) loved this apartment. It was modern, clean and absolutely lovely. We had plenty of space and really enjoyed the location. The bathrooms were large, the beds were comfortable, the building was really neat, and the local cafes were great. Laura was great to work with, and helped with airport transport. I can't say enough good things about this apartment - it was fantastic!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed in this apartment from 5/29/12 - 6/7/12. It was a beautiful place to stay - totally updated flat was nicely decorated and comfortable. The location was perfect for us - within walking distance to so many great sights, and a short walk to the metro station for places a bit further out. Laura was WONDERFUL to work with, and she really went the extra mile for us. We were traveling with our seven month old daughter and she got us a baby bed (pack and play). She even stocked the fridge with some milk for our arrival. Very thoughtful of her. I can't say enough about this place- the photos don't even do it justice. It's a charming, clean, beautiful apartment in a very picturesque, lovely location. We had the trip of a lifetime with our daughters and couldn't be happier with the place we chose to stay. THANK YOU, Laura, for everything!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Dear Monica, thank you for your entusiastic review. It was a pleasure meeting you and your family. I hope to have you back in the apartment, whenever you want. Best regards, Laura

I spent a couple of days in this delightful apartment in the center of Rome. No need to use public transportation, you can walk everywhere. The apartment is furnished with an incredible taste, as if it was for personal use of the owners. All is clean, tidy and modern. Staying here made my visit to rome an even more pleasant experience. I will certainly come back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

we had the most perfect stay, it was everything we needed. We would certainly recommend the apartment to our friends, and when I see our friend who is the travel agent who actually did the booking I will show her the photos and tell her what a good location it is. Often when you see the photos on the internet you are a little disappointed with what you find. We actually did not think the photos did the apartment justice, it was much nicer than we expected, and a lot bigger. We did appreciate the owner meeting us so very early on that Friday morning, and her help with the various aspects of the apartment.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The apartment was really beautiful. The pictures were worse than real and the location was perfect. We were able to walk to all the Rome sites, buy food nearby, go to restaurants and cafés. The apartment was very big, clean, totally renovated but at the same time it had old world charm. I have recommended this residence to friends and would like stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: Dear Anna, thank you for your review. I will be happy to publish it on VRBO. Hoping to see you again, Laura
