  amazing sunset view with modern/luxury facilities private best for a family or group of friends that want to be away together best part is the staff mr. gadey will make sure you are taken care of every day he will arrange private chef to come in and make your home cooked meal the villa is so cozy and nice that you wont want to leave!! dreamland beach is 8 min drive padang padang beach is 15min drive (much nicer) need to hire a private driver to get anywhere the hotel can help arrange that for you

  First time to Bali with my husband and 15 year old son, we stayed at Casaviva for 3 nights as part of a 2 week holiday in Bali. The villa is in a fairly remote location (about 10 mins off the main road and down a fairly basic dirt road). We did wonder where we were going during the drive. But when we walked in, we all went "wow". The villa is set high and is fairly new. The view is out to the coast - it is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the Poolside Suite and a Garden Suite. We were the only guests staying there at the time so we had the whole villa to ourselves. Because of the villa's remote location, we organised a hire car for 2 days, so got out and about. Recommend a visit to the Uluwatu temple. Although remote, the villa is set up well for this. Dinners were no problem - there are restaurants that do home deliveries! When we arrived, Alvin, the property manager, asked us if we needed any shopping done - we gave him a list, and he went and did our shopping for us. We also had a couple of massages while we were there. Alvin organised all these things for us. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. We were spoilt by having the villa all to ourselves, so not sure how it would be if there were other guests there. But it is an absolutely amazing place - we loved it, and would definitely stay again.

  We traveled to Bali in August 2011 as a family with three teenagers and we stayed at Casa Viva Bali for two weeks. We loved it. We stayed at the upper Villa at the Poolside Suite and the One Bedroom Loft. The Villa is very nicely and cool designed. A beautiful interpretation and mixture of modern and balinese architecture. Alvin is a very caring Villa manager and he leads a small team, that made our stay very comfortable. We ordered Food for Dinner in the evening, that was delicious and affordable. They even order italian or thai food to be served at the villa for a small fee (for the service). We loved it, because it made everything so easy. Cool lounge style relax area at the pool, beautiful large tamarind eating table with a teak bench. Good breakfasts with fresh made Omelette and Pancakes, nice dinners, good talking to Indraneel and Selly, the owners of Casa Viva. the table is kind of a meeting point, where you can make contact to the other people staying at casa viva. For us it was much more like a very small boutique hotel than a rental villa. The villa is on top of a small mountain, and you need a car to travel round. But the owner managed everything with the car and a driver as well (highly recommnded in bali). It was a very good service and very affordable. We visited Padang Padang Beach and Dreamland Beach. Both very nice and very close (but you need a car). We loved it, the kids loved it, it was a very relaxing stay. BEST VACATION EVER. Many thanks to Indra, Selly, Alvin and the team

  I highly recommend choosing CasaViva for your stay in Bali. If you decide to stay at hotel, not a villa, you will definitely miss a lion share of authentic impressions you can get in Bali. I was very lucky to choose the right decision and abandon hotels & Nusa Dua. CasaViva was the great luck for us : 1) Its interior is very stylish and created for relaxing of both body & mind. I highly enjoyed having bath in open space bathroom with tropical garden or a quick swim in the pool before the breakfast. In the evening we loved sitting in the area around the pool – listening music that surrounds you or watching the movie on the screen 2) Indraneel is so much hospitable, he takes it very personal and this is what helped us to get the really unique vacations. He recommended us where to go and what to see (like surf school, restaurant or beach or sightseeing), and I need to admit – he has the excellent taste, you should trust it! Other great experiences are waves and sunsets … you should try to see as many sunsets on the beach as you can. Personally, I liked Dreamland beach sunset & Balangan beach the most.   Great Location : even without being surfer, Bukit is very interesting, wild, quiet and mystic. Follow the road to Casaviva and be patient : at the end of the road is the incredible villa. Nice, modern and Balinese, Casaviva architecture is a success. How good it is to swim at the sunset. Staff is so nice. Even with the French language barrier, our children were confident with the staff.

  Me and my family, 2 adults, 12 year girl and 17 year boy, stayed at the Casaviva for 12 days in July 2011.We are all very satisfied with our recent stay in these beautiful and clean surroundings.A perfect blend of warm service , breathtaking hilltop sea views, and a relaxing feeling. Healthy morning-breakfast , cooked and prepared every morning by the wonderfull staff.Just the place that I have been looking for. A bit far out, but very easy to get a taxi to low prices.Perfect place to get un-stressed. Warmest regards Susanne , Denmark

  4 of my girlfriends and I wanted a villa that was aesthetically pleasing as well as within our budget! When we reached the villa, Casa was far beyond what any of us could have ever imagined/ expected! Pictures do no justice to what the villa looks like in person! The service was amazing! From our butler, Alvin, to Indra- everyone went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and thoroughly enjoy our stay! Although the villa is far from the central regions of Bali, our decision to stay at Casa was beyond worth it! All you need is to hire car during your stay and everything is set!! (If a group of 20 year old girls had the time of their life at the villa, despite being away from the "hot spots" of Bali...I believe anyone can!!) All our friends saw pictures of the villa that we uploaded on facebook- and everyone wants a piece of it!! BETTER START BOOKING! :)

  Sorry it took me so long after I coming back to give a review! I had a wonderful time staying in casaviva, and I recommend to everyone who wants to hv a quiet and home-comfort holiday in Bali. I stayed in the pool view flat with a bathroom bigger than my already spacious bedroom. The bathroom is open concept but your privacy is well protected by the woods and walls. The room decoration is a mix Balinese with Chinese and the unlimited pool is just steps away from my bed. Breakfast can be western, Balinese or Chinese. I loved pancakes, fresh fruit juice with some local coffee. Regarding transportation, it’s so convenient that the Owner let us drive his car around, so it’s just easy to go anywhere. Regret I only stayed 2 days there and couldn’t explore full of Casaviva and around, I heard it’s just next to the famous surfing spot of bali and also various of lovely beaches…. hope to stay longer next time.

  If you need to get away from it all and be unapologetically taken care of while your sense of self dissolves in the breathtaking views of the sea and lush tropical hills, there is no better place in Bali than Casa Viva. I have been coming to Bali since 2003, and can confidently say that nothing quite compares to this place. With its efforless blend of the naturally modern and the discerning traditional, Casa Viva is a constellation of sleeping, dining and living spaces where you cannot help but let go and relax. Or contemplate, think and write - which is what we did at the villa for an entire month. We hardly ever had to leave the place because the owners and staff literally took care of our every need and every wish, no matter how exotic. Fantastically fresh meals (Western or Indonesian...incl. those morning pancakes that I am now addicted to), round the clock car service, surfing, expert dining recommendations, and even guided shopping breaks - it's a long list. Next time we are in Bali, we won't be looking around for the newest and coolest options. It's hard to beat the experience that Selly and Indraneel have so carefully architected in Jimbaran.
