Couch and loveseat in living room.
Some of the updates in from 2004 to present include new bedding and towels throughout, two new TV’s, new microwave, fresh paint and decor. New A/C in April 2007. Beautiful tile added throughout and new couch, loveseat, and recliner in December of 2005 and 2008.
Our Condo is located just steps from a newly tiled, lovely swimming pool and private beach access. Our kids can make it from door to shore in just over one minute, and the beach is beautiful white sand -- not coquina shell that hurts the feet.
Collect shells as you stroll up the beach to a wonderful beach-front café, or if you prefer cook in the well-appointed kitchen. And don’t forget to visit the treasures of St. Augustine, the oldest city in North America. Lots for families and couples to do and enjoy!
There is much here to entertain the kids, and only a short drive to world class golf and IMAX theater at World Golf Village. For your enjoyment the area offers many historical and entertaining venues, boutiques and eateries including the St. Augustine Lighthouse, Castillo de San Marco (old Spanish fort), Alligator Farm, and fabulous St. George Street.
Ideally situated one and a half hours from Orlando and Cape Canaveral, and 45 minutes South of Jacksonville. Day trip to Disney World, Sea World, or other Orlando attractions at a fraction of the cost of staying in the Parks and your loved ones will be thrilled with the beach in their backyard!
If you need space for a larger group of people, then consider renting all three family-owned Condos in the same building!!

We spent a week and it was great. The condo was clean had everything it was supposed to. The owner was helpful and timely with what we needed peior to arrival. The beach was beautiful . It is cresant beach and where condo it people can drive on beach but the sand is so fluffy no one parks on beach and truly little traffic. This was truly the only downfall was that people drove on beach, but the can only drive one area and it was pretty safe we just had to watch kids a little better. If u have babies with lots of equipment might not be right place for u. It is a walk to get to the beach for us it was fine my kids r 6 and 3 and worked great. The pool was really nice and truly right near condo around corner. There were several people we met who owned condo here and they were so friendly and helpful. St Augustine was truly ten minutes away and was so much fun a lot of truly cool and educational or just plain fun things to do. This was our best vacation yet. We usually stay on the gulf but this was better.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This place was exactly what we needed. It was nothing fancy at all, but equipped with everything we needed, functional, and comfortable. It was just right for the price. The beach was amazing...and I appreciated that there were a few chairs and beach toys for us to use. I really appreciated the code lock on the door...it meant no keys to keep track of and lose, and everybody in my party (4 teenagers and me) could come and go as they wanted to. The full sized washer and dryer were handy, too. It was quite a few steps to the beach. No problem for me and my kids, but if you don't like stairs, it might be problematic. I liked the atmosphere at the place (Quail Hollow). Mostly middle age and above, but very friendly and open. Everything felt easy going and safe. It was quiet (except for the occasional yapping dog we passed in units on the way to the beach) and laidback. The beach is pet friendly and there were lots of dogs there, but apparently only the owners are allowed to have dogs...not renters. Devin was very easy to deal with and answered all my questions. Basically, you can find something nicer and more luxurious and elegant, but for the money, this place is the bomb!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.

THIS WAS OUR FIFTH TRIP TO ST AUGUSTINE AND THE FIFTH TIME WE STAYED AT THIS CONDO. WE WRE NOT DISAPPOINTED AS USUAL. THE BEACH IS GREAT. IN FACT I HAVE CLOSE RELATIVES LIVING IN JACKSONVILLE AND THEY HAVE COMMENTED THAT THE BEACH IS THE BEST THEY HAVE SEEN.. THE CONDO IS WELL WITHIN THE TOURIST ATRACTIONS OF ST AUGUSTINE. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND THE CONDORecommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My husband, 2 year old son and I took a short 4-day trip down to St. Augustine to see my family and spend some time on the beach. The unit was perfect because they offered stays that were less than a week (although I am sure they would prefer the weekly rental) at a very reasonable rate. The condo is perfect for a family with 1-2 children and is just enough space for what we needed. The location is great, because it is close to grocery stores and restaurants and is at the beach. The unit is exactly as described. It is not beach front, but you don't pay beachfront prices. The unit is right around the corner from the pool which is absolutely beautiful and was never very crowded. You basically have to walk up a hill or steps to get to the boardwalk out to the beach which also has a good few steps. We just took all of our stuff up in a wagon and left it at the top of the boardwalk, which worked out pretty well. The beach here is REALLY great and not over-crowded. It was so wonderful! The little lanai is great and we got a good breeze there. I was just slightly bummed that I could not hear the ocean since it was blocked by the hill and condos that were between us and the beach, but we spent a lot of time out there so I got plenty of beach time. I will say that this is no frills as in not totally modern, but it really is everything you need for a great vacation. I would absolutely recommend this condo to family and friends and feel confident that I will rent it again in the future as we like to get down to St. Augustine every few years!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We spent 3 nights and 2 days at the condo (definitely not enough), 2 adults and 4 children. The condo is very comfortable and clean and had plenty of room for 6 people. It is surrounded by a lush garden and plenty of cute little geckos which absolutely amazed my 6 yr-old. The availability of the washer and dryer (especially the dryer) made things so much better! The kids had a great time both at the beach and the pool. The beach is wide, with nice, white, fine sand and so FEW people. I don't know if it was because of the time of the year (first week of June) or if it's like this all year long, but, after having experienced Panama City Beach and Destin, it was a PLEASURE to be able to enjoy peace, the sounds of the waves and of the pelicans (lots of them there!) The beach is also VERY clean and regularly patrolled by sheriffs and covered with little crabs at night. It is also a great spot to collect shells. St. Augustine is a memorable city! For a history lover like me, it was idyllic! We visited the Old Lighthouse, the Old Jail, the Castillo San Marcos, drove south along the beach and hit Matanzas Inlets (my absolute favorite area there!!! - secluded, shaded, peaceful, no crowd, no waves but instead peaceful water and LOTS of little crabs and wildlife). We thought about going to the alligator farm but did not have time to. We also drove around the old city. How spectacular! We ate at the South Beach Grill twice (not bad but needs seasoning. We went back because it is walking distance, south of the condo, both from the road and the beach) and at La Stada Italian restaurant (OK food, good service but overpriced and slow) to name a few. Devin was very nice and accomodating and replied promptly to my emails. All the instructions in the emails and the condo were straight-forward and easy to follow. I would DEFINITELY go back there although if you are looking for a condo with a view of the ocean, this one is not for you. I would reccomend it to anyone!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Six relaxing, peaceful days! The beach felt private. We spent most of our time on the beach playing in the beautiful sand and waves. The pool was tucked away between the condos and the beach and was clean and beautiful...but the beach was so much fun that the kids only jumped in one time. The condo doesn't have bells and whistles...but has everything that you need for a beach vacation away from home. The kids liked having their own TV with DVD player for resting after a long day in the sun. We saw dolphins, plenty of snails and crab. One lucky morning we even found a purple starfish wash up on shore. Devin had some well loved boogie boards for the kids to use, which made swimming in the ocean much more fun! The only negatives: You are only to leave 2 loads of wash or you are asked to leave $10 a load. Totally understand the pressures of cleaning the condo for the next guest...but we felt like we had to do all our showering the night before so we could wash and dry the towels because with 3 beds we would meet our max number of loads in the morning. Last negative...there was not much of a "start up" of dish soap, hand soap or laundry soap. Not a big deal...but we did leave behind hand soap, kleenex, dish soap and laundry soap for the next guest. I don't know about you, but I like to know I have a little time to grab those things at the closest Publix without feeling it necessary to run out upon arrival. So in summary, beautiful, private, clean, quiet condo. We would totally recommend this property to anyone with young kids, teenagers etc... Be sure to walk down to the Beachside Grille :)Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Although an older complex, the condo at Quail Hollow was clean, comfortable and very secure. Friendly neighbors and minutes to the pool and beach, as described. Also an easy drive to St. Augustine, grocery stores and restaurants. It was a pleasure to work with Devin on the rental process. He quickly answered all of our questions. An added plus was the no-charge phone and internet system since our cell phone did not work in that area. Thank you to Devin and his family for providing this home away from home. An alliterative description...Quail Hollow: Quaint and quiet.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.
