Six relaxing, peaceful days! The beach felt private. We spent most of our time on the beach playing in the beautiful sand and waves. The pool was tucked away between the condos and the beach and was clean and beautiful...but the beach was so much fun that the kids only jumped in one time. The condo doesn't have bells and whistles...but has everything that you need for a beach vacation away from home. The kids liked having their own TV with DVD player for resting after a long day in the sun. We saw dolphins, plenty of snails and crab. One lucky morning we even found a purple starfish wash up on shore. Devin had some well loved boogie boards for the kids to use, which made swimming in the ocean much more fun! The only negatives: You are only to leave 2 loads of wash or you are asked to leave $10 a load. Totally understand the pressures of cleaning the condo for the next guest...but we felt like we had to do all our showering the night before so we could wash and dry the towels because with 3 beds we would meet our max number of loads in the morning. Last negative...there was not much of a "start up" of dish soap, hand soap or laundry soap. Not a big deal...but we did leave behind hand soap, kleenex, dish soap and laundry soap for the next guest. I don't know about you, but I like to know I have a little time to grab those things at the closest Publix without feeling it necessary to run out upon arrival. So in summary, beautiful, private, clean, quiet condo. We would totally recommend this property to anyone with young kids, teenagers etc... Be sure to walk down to the Beachside Grille :)

Although an older complex, the condo at Quail Hollow was clean, comfortable and very secure. Friendly neighbors and minutes to the pool and beach, as described. Also an easy drive to St. Augustine, grocery stores and restaurants. It was a pleasure to work with Devin on the rental process. He quickly answered all of our questions. An added plus was the no-charge phone and internet system since our cell phone did not work in that area. Thank you to Devin and his family for providing this home away from home. An alliterative description...Quail Hollow: Quaint and quiet.

Comfortable Homey Unit. Conveniently located! Well worth the look!

Just wanted to say that we had a wonderful time in this unit. It was conveniently located to the parking lot & just around the corner from the swimming pool and bbq area. About a 5-7 minute walk to the beach via a bunch of stairs and boardwalk. The beach is absolutely beautiful (soft white silky sand) The unit itself was as described. Very well stocked with linens (sheets, blankets, towels, beach towels, extra pillows) We even had a fan for the bedroom. The kitchen had everything we could need, a variety of pots pans and appliances. There were even some spices, coffee, tea, oils to help get stuff going. It was wonderful having a washer and dryer on premises. Our only complaint was that we could never get the dishwasher to work, so we did them by hand. But it was definately made easier by having a dish strainer, starter dish soap, and scrubers! The beds were very comfortable as were the couches in the living room. We felt very much at home. The air conditioner worked fantastic. The satelite tv worked well except in the small bedroom. Couldn't get it to work because there was no satelite box. We rented movies from the RedBox down the street at the CVS and played them. Had a few difficulties accessing the wifi because the signal strength was very very low, but we were able to get on just had some connection problems. About a 15 minuted drive to downtown St. Augustine, Walmart, and Marineland. Conveniently located. We ate at the BEACHSIDE Grill and Tiki Bar just down the way from the condo per Devin's suggestion! It was awesome! Excellent service and Food! Burgers are awesome! Also try Happy Cakes cupcakes about 5 miles down the road in a cute little strip mall. YUMMY! Overall I would totally recomment this unit. Devin gets back to you very quickly, answers any question you might have, and was very professional. You can NOT beat the price. Everything was included, no hidden fees. Even the tax and cleaning costs. This is a very comfortable unit and slept 6 of us very well. IF you are looking for a family friendly unit this is it! Will definately rent this again!! THANKS DEVIN! We has a blast!

My family stayed at this condo for Spring Break April 2011. What a great trip the condo was clean, Pool was around the corner from our condo. and the beach was so accessable. This is like a private beach. There are other people there but not crowded at all! We went to beach every day. There are Rabbits and Turtles the live in the sand dunes that you can watch. 5 minutes from all the action on A1A Restuarants galore. This is a really quiet condo community, We met tons of folks. everyone is just laid back. Definately not the College Spring Break Atmosphere. My guys are 11 and 14 so this was perfect. Don't pass up Harry's rest., Alligator farm, lighthouse, Fort, or Historic old town. This was a great vacation!

St. Augustine Adventure!

What a wonderful experience! Having previously stayed in hotels during our travel adventures, this was our first experience renting a condo. I was somewhat nervous going into the online world of vacation planning, but I am very pleased I did. Devin quickly responded to my email, and even helped with some navigational questions! We LOVED having the space of the condo, and the ability to prepare meals. The beautiful beach was a very quick walk, and my children loved the Atlantic ocean. As well, we drove from Ontario, Canada and picked my husband up at the Jacksonville airport (he was able to join us at the very last minute when his work schedule cleared up). The drive from the airport to the condo was, as my kids would say, easy breezy! What I also appreciated was the information Devin provided about St. Augustine that helped us to plan our trip. A visit to the Alligator Farm, some wonderful restaurant recommendations, location of grocery stores, etc...Devin's information made our trip planning that much easier. We were also within driving distance (2 hours....traffic was heavy) to Universal and a trip to Harry Potter's Wizarding World. The condo was very clean and well maintained. It was a very quiet, family friendly environment (which we greatly appreciated). I have already told friends and family that if they are planning a trip to the area, they should contact Devin! Enjoyed our stay at this condo immensely. Great location. Easy accessability to downtown St. Augustine which we fell in love with! The condo was well kept with everything we needed for our stay here. The beach was beautiful. I would highly recommend this property. The owner was helpful and provided lots of literature in the condo about the area such as restaurants and attractions. Overall a wonderful stay!

What a great place to vacation at! The condo was immaculate and the beach is just a walk away. My family had a GREAT time and it allowed us to go on an affordable vacation at such a BEAUTIFUL city. This vacation rental is not only spacious, clean- a home away from home; but, everything is strategically located. My family and I stayed at the condo for a week and had a wonderful time. The condo had all the amenities you would have at home. Plus, the pool is a 30 second walk and you can be on the beach in a minute. The owners were very helpful in answering our questions about the condo in a quick, timely manner. I would suggest this condo to others and plan on trying to stay here again.

My family has vacationed for the last 6 years in South Carolina but we decided to try Florida this year and we are glad we did. Quail Hollow is a very pretty, private and quiet area right in the middle of lots to do. There are 2 huge outlet malls about 15 minutes away and historic Saint Augustine is excellent as was the Alligator Farm. If they are in season I recommend going to a Jacksonville Suns AA baseball game and if you love golf the World Golf Hall of Fame is only 20 minutes away. The condo is very roomy and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation and Devin was very helpful. The beach is fabulous and feels almost private and there is a big turtle living just beside the boardwalk to the beach. We had dinner twice at Napoli which is about a half mile north of the condo and it was excellent if you like Italian. When we return to this area somewhere down the road we would certainly go to Quail Hollow again.

We have come to Saint Augustine 4 out of the 5 years and have stayed at your condo every visit. We were not disappointed. Obviously, we wer pleased or we wouldn't have come back 4 times. The beach and pool are great. Not crowded - which is what we wanted as we have small grandchildren. We do not have any problem recomending your condo to others.

We loved the condo, it fit our needs perfectly. I loved the fact it was pretty much baby proof as I had my 19 month old grandson with me. The residents of the community were very nice and I was completly comfortable leaving our sand chairs and umbrella underneath the stairs at the beach the entire time we were there and they were never bothered. Beautiful pool and close to everything. We had a wonderful experience.

I just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at your condo. It was a beautiful place. The beach was absolutely gorgeous. I met several of your neighbors and the lady in the office (her name escapes me now), and they were all very nice. Our kids enjoyed the pool and beach, and we all enjoyed the natural beauty of the area. It has been a long time since we have vacationed on a beach with no high rises and crowded beaches. Every morning on the way to the beach we stopped on the board walk and watched the turtles eat and dig in the sand. It was hot of course, but the ocean breeze and a large umbrella kept us nice and cool. The water was nice clear and we saw dolphins several mornings. It was a truly relaxing vacation. We would not hesitate to return. The condo was nice and we had no problems.

We had an absolutely wonderful week and really enjoyed the condo. I am sure I'd like to use it again. I left a beach chair, a frisbee, and a nerf football for use at the condo as my thanks for a great week. I left it all in the living room assuming the clean up crew would store it somewhere.
