WE LOVE THE REMODEL AND our guests have been loving this secluded hide-away in paradise!
ALOHA! PEACEFUL...TRANQUIL...PERFECT FOR RELAXING! In this spacious one/two bedroom cottage you can truly get away from it all with spectacular unobstructed ocean views from nearly every room!
Our remodeling project was finished in 2010, complete with upscale kitchen and bathroom. We have granite countertops and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, quartzite flooring throughout, Hawaiiana style elephant bamboo furniture, a fabulous bathroom with walk-in shower, plus a hot water shower in the outer back porch as well. Our glass enclosed lanai (porch) overlooking the ocean is complete with a bar height dining table and seating area, perfect for watching sunsets inside or out. Although we tried to leave no stone unturned on the inside, the best part however still remains, the incredible beachfront oceanview, the green sea turtles that feed in the water in your front yard, the peace and quiet you will find, the long strolls on the beach and the lush beautifully landscaped property. This is truly a tropical haven!
This cottage is a duplex, located on a 6 acre parcel with other cottages. The property has secured gated parking, a heated non-chlorinated pool, tennis courts, chipping green and a laundry room available to all our guests.
There are miles of deserted beaches with golden sand and pristine waters, filled with tropical fish, seasonal whales and green sea turtles. Discover isolated sandy coves perfect for swimming and snorkeling, driftwood, seashells, surfing, windsurfing & kite boarding. The mountains behind the cottage offer good hiking trails. Just a few miles from the cottage you will find the world famous beaches of the North Shore and the lovely historic town of Haleiwa. There is a harbor, restaurants, art galleries and local food markets. We are an easy 30 minutes from Pearl Harbor and about 10 more from there to the Honolulu Airport.

Hi Rebecca- Thank you for renting out your cottage. We absolutely loved it. The pictures do not do this place justice. My boyfriend and I both decided that this was far beyond what any hotel/resport could offer. We wished we found your place sooner. We will definitely be back again... for hopefully a longer stay! Absolutely breath-taking!

We stayed in this lovely cottage for a week before taking a cruise around the islands. The cottage was the highlight of our trip! The description and photos are an exact representation of the cottage...beautiful, peaceful,and tranquil with spectacular ocean views. Plan on renting a car to visit the many great places around the island but be sure to include lots of time to relax and enjoy this wonderful cottage.

We just returned to Minnesota after a FABULOUS stay at your cottage! After fighting the traffic to get out of the city, the drive just got more and more beautiful and when we walked into the cottage we were in awe and all of our tensions melted away. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! The view from the cottage is breathtaking. The cottage had everything we needed - a fabulous kitchen, wonderful cookware, very comfy furniture, VERY comfortable bed! We fell asleep every evening to the sound of the ocean and woke up to the sounds of beautiful birds (promptly at 6:30 a.m. I might add! :) ) We loved nearby Haleiwa and all of the other little towns along the coast. We did alot of hiking, saw some Monk seals, and kept ourselves pretty busy during the day, but our favorite part was knowing we had such a wonderful place to come "home" to - we'd open a bottle of wine, make some dinner, and just relax. We met a few of the neighbors - so nice and helpful and friendly! :) But don't worry, the cottage is very private and we rarely saw anyone on the beach. We would HIGHLY recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to visit Oahu without the craziness of staying at a large resort. Thank you for sharing your home with us! :)

Spent 18 amazing days over Christmas and New Years. Couldn't have asked for anything better! The sound of the ocean at our door step, and the star filled sky were enough to keep us happy, not to mention the fully updated cottage itself, beautiful! Spent many days pool side, and hardly saw a soul. If peace, quiet and relaxation is what you want this is it! Haleiwa is a short car ride away for a selection of many great small restaurants, the Thai Restaurant is yummy, and the Grass Skirt Grill great too! Don't forget to try out some of the nearby hiking trails, or a trail ride next door! We miss you already Mokuleia!

My girlfriend and I stayed at this lovely cottage from August 18th through August 25th. This was not only an extremely romantic experience, but heaven on earth visually and emotionally. We would come back here again in a heartbeat. This is the way Hawaii should be....laid back and comfortable. This cottage was exactly what we wanted. View is superb, remodel is very nice and tastefully appointed, comfortable furniture and very spacious. Very classy and romantic. Was great for 2 adults, the second bedroom would have been great for a family with two kids, for me it was perfect to sort out my camera gear and laptop! one of the neighbors even had a strong unlocked WiFi too. Was an easy drive to Honolulu, about 30 min. You'll need a car to stay here. About 5 min drive into cute town for shops, grocery, restaurants. Beach is right out front door, hear the waves from all the rooms including bedrooms. More windows than there are walls it seems like. Beach in both directions for walking, saw turtles outside every day. Lots of fun gorgeous North shore beaches about 15 min. away. Other side of Island (Kailua) was about 25-30 min. drive, very easy, about 1.5-2 hrs on the scenic route. Great kitchen, great snorkeling gear, beach towels, and cooler provided. Nice lawns, gardens and tranquility, paradise.

A lovely cottage so close to the sea you would think you were in a ship. If you like to go to sleep listening to the ocean and enjoy beautiful sunsets this is the place for you. A well maintained property in a small private beach colony with a swimming pool and tennis court a few steps away. A 10minute drive takes you to Hale'iwa, a lovely quaint town with plenty of restaurants and shops. There are many beautiful bays nearby where you can surf or swim with the giant turtles.

The Beach Cottage at Mokuleia was absolutely perfect for us! We had beautiful sunrises and sunsets every day. The snorkeling just in front of the cottage was outstanding and we even swam with a sea turtle as he fed on the reef. The interior of the unit was very comfortable and modern. We loved the guidebook "Oahu Revealed" in the tv cabinet--it was absolutely priceless in planning our daily activities. We spent time at Sharks cove, Waimea bay (jumped off the rock--Awesome!), Three tables, Turtle Beach, The Polynesian Cultural center, Dole plantation, and Haleiwa town. We will definitely be back. Aloha!!

We spent a fabulous week here. The view is gorgeous, and the duplex is first rate. It is just as beautiful as the pictures show. The property has every amenity you could need and then some. We walked the beach every morning, sat in our front yard enjoying the sunset every evening, and slept to the sounds of the ocean. We spent one afternoon with a monk seal, who napped on our beach. We were close to the town of Haleiwa, which is small and quaint, and offers great food for dining out and fun shopping if you so desire. We recommend this property without reservation.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+.

My family stayed in this cottage even before the remodel, and it was a little slice of heaven on earth!! We can't wait to book our next trip to Oahu, and have recommended this to many friends already...it is just a few minutes away from all the famous North Shore beaches, and the Dole Plantation with it's amazing HUGE maze was a blast for my kids! We went to Haleiwa town every day. The property itself is beautiful and tropical, and we enjoyed the water just outside the front windows lulling us into a dreamy relaxation. You will not be disappointed!! I have also had the opportunity to visit the two beachfront condos this owner has on Maui, and they are wonderful as well, with incredible views of the sunset year-round and whales in the winter months.
