Stone Harbor was spared from Sandy's destruction. This is the perfect place to enjoy all that the Jersey shore has to offer! This adorable condo feels more like a cottage with it's open floor plan. It is two & a half blocks to the beach and around the corner from town. It has been completely renovated while retaining classic beach house details (gorgeoous wood floors, bead board, original doors). The front sun room is an ideal spot to curl up with a book or watch the world go by. The living room has a big L-shaped sofa, oversized chair, and TV, while around the corner, the two tables in the dining area provide a natural gathering place for games and jigsaw puzzles. The dining room table easily seats 8. The open kitchen has plenty of counter space and cabinets.
The front bedroom has a queen bed and shares a bath with the twin (2) bed room. There is a second full bath off the kitchen - where the washer & dryer are located. The third bedroom has a queen bed and has a half bath attached.
Welcoming outdoor areas include front porch, dining area with grill, and side yard with clothesline. The included driveway parking lets you avoid any parking hassles and walk everywhere. (The two other units on the property use the upstairs deck, bar area, and bamboo garden. )
50% payment plus $50 booking fee when signing the lease - due back within 10 - 14 days of reserving. Final 50% payment & $50 security insurance due 30 days prior to check in.

Such a great stay at a wonderful beach. Only a short walk from the beach and also the shops/restaurants of "downtown." Roomy enough for several people to be comfortable, but bedrooms are tucked back enough for everyone's privacy. Cannot recommend this place more.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Why the Owner Chose Stone Harbor:
We fell in love with Stone Harbor after visiting friends here for many years. It is an hour and a half drive from our home and easy for other family members to get to.
Stone Harbor has a small town feel, with activites for all ages and interests: the Wetlands Institute and Bird Sanctuary for nature lovers; basketball & tennis courts and a bike lane running the length of the island (7 miles) for the athletes; shuffleboard & miniature golf for the casually active; 3 playgrounds for the kids; and trendy shops, boutiques, and art galleries for shoppers. The beach is wide and the surf perfect for swimming and boogie boarding.
We love buying fresh seafood and grilling at home as well as walking to the fantastic restaurants open in town.
