  This cabin is wonderful in every respect. It is perfectly located after a beautiful and short drive from Ridgway, and very private although within sight of many other lovely abodes dotting the surrounding hillsides. The cabin is well equipped with anything one might need and the interior was charming and homey. It's a great place for a couple, or family with children. It would also be fun with two couples, so long as they know one another well due to the lack of complete privacy in loft area where the queen sized bed is located. By far the most amazing thing about the cabin is the absolutely stunning views of the Mt. Sneffels range. Sitting on the deck was a favorite activity, as we gazed towards the mountains in awe. The large picture windows in the living room are wonderful and watching the sunset through the west facing window was such a delight. Overall, we had an excellent time at the cabin. It's a great place to stay if you are interested in a quiet experience while at the cabin, but access to other places is easy. Telluride is under an hour and Ouray is under 30 minutes. Ridgway is a lovely town with a great collection of shops, restaurants, and a really great brewery. The owner of this cabin was so easy to work with as well. We will be back.

  This cabin makes you feel like your home as soon as you walk in. It is so peaceful and comfortable. If you ever need a place to get away for a while this is it!! Jenny is a wonderful person to work with. She defiently goes out of her way for her clients.

  A truly wonderful location and a cozy, rustic cabin with adequate amenities. The owner is terrific to work with. We couldn't have selected a spot more right for our needs with one exception. Although we have one of the top two cell phone companies, we got no reception at the cabin. Twenty minutes down the road the reception was fine, though. Don' t let the lack of cell reception keep you from renting this, though. It has everything else!

  Awesome! Scenic! Relaxing! The pictures are NOT accurate...It's much more beautiful than the pictures can show! It was the perfect spot for our own unique, special honeymoon experience. We branched out from here for activities such as:scenic drives, eating out, visiting points of interest, and we even took an air tour!(Gateway Canyon Air Tours) The 14000 ft. peaks are BREATHTAKING! The town of Ridgeway is great...try Kate's Place Restraunt for a FANTASTIC breakfast!!! Ginny was VERY helpful in planning our stay. She even arranged (upon request) for a special boquet to be there on arrival, for my beautiful bride! Thanks Ginny, we hope to be back for an Anniversary. or 2 or 3 :-)

  An amazing cabin with breathtaking view of Mt. Snuffels as you look out the window. My husband and I were looking for a place to getaway to relax, enjoy wildlife and beautiful scenery and mountains. This cabin was the perfect place. Immaculate, affordable, cozy and all that a cabin should look like. We loved getting up in the morning to see snow on Mt. Snuffels and to watch the deer in front of the cabin. We took a drive up into the forest and saw a beautiful black bear! Evening time was quiet and relaxing. Enjoying grilling on the deck in the evening, going into town for lunch. Went to see Owl Creek pass, Silver Jack Resevoir, Cimmaron Valley. There was so much more to sight see...we could not take it all in. Just the view of Mt. Snuffel's range alone was breathtaking. We highly recommend this cabin!

  Stayed for a week and had a great time in this comfortable cabin. There was plenty of room for four adults and the cabin was a wonderful hub to many day hikes in Telluride and Ouray. The views of the mountains were enjoyable and it was just a short drive from Ridgway. We would recommend this cabin to friends.

  Fabulous! Beautiful, quiet, peaceful, great support from owner, Ginny. We used the cabin as home base for day hikes and it was the perfect abode. Comfortable mattresses, two bathrooms, cozy, quaint, and very clean. Highly recommend.

  We just had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The views were excellent with the snow capped peaks of the San Juans stretching above us and the rolling hills and mesas of Western Colorado below. Every evening gave a beautiful sunset! We mainly used the cabin as a jumping off point to visit the surrounding mountain towns of Ouray, Silverton, Telluride, and of course Ridgway but, we also stayed in a few days just enjoying the cozy and serene atmosphere of the cabin. The pictures do not do it justice. Everything was well kept and up to date. The owners were more than happy to assist in anyway and offer touring advice.

  I just needed a little time to be by myself....and this cabin was perfect. The views are stunning. I was able to take morning walks with the warm sun on my back and adjust to the altitude in the splendor of these huge mountains. I didn't need to "go" anywhere, for all that is Colorado surrounds this little chalet. AMAZING! Next time I will bring a couple of friends for a girls retreat because it so easily accomdates 4 to 5 folks. When I did leave the mountain, I loved finding Second Chance in Ridgway and LaPita's as well. There are a number of terrific antique/second hand stores in the area. Lastly the owner was a phone call away. He was responsive to my needs, which were few, because the cabin was very well appointed. I appreciated all of the owner's tips on what to bring and where to shop before heading up to the cabin. It saved me lots of time and money.
