Maine Treasure is the perfect place for your home base, or to cosy up and hibernate for a few days, or weeks. Maine Treasure has a fully equipped kitchen, with a full stove, large refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and Jenn-Air grill. The large, open and airy great room houses our dining area and comfortable living room, complete with a wood-burning fireplace. There is a nice sized screened in porch and two rear deck areas as well. The large Master Bedroom has a king sized bed, en suite full bathroom, and generous walk-in closet. There are also two guest bedrooms, each bedroom containing two twin beds each with memory foam mattresses, and a full sized bathroom situated between these guest bedrooms. And to protect your vehicle, there is an attached garage.
Close to skiing and lakeside activities, Maine Treasure is perfect for all seasons! Located less than two miles from the front door of the base lodge of Shawnee Peak Ski resort, nothing could be easier for those seeking mountain convenience while residing in a very comfortable house.
And for those searching for a Summer getaway, we have a canoe and kayak waiting for you at the edge of Moose Pond located a mere 5 minute walk - or 1 minute drive - from Maine Treasure. Enjoy lounging at the lakefront beach or improve you sun tan at the community pool. Also available for our guests' use are the Knights Hill Tennis Courts and Basketball Hoops. Bridgton even has its own Drive-In Movie Theatre as well as a traditional movie theatre in town. Plenty of activities for people of all ages.
In the Fall, enjoy apple picking, visit the famous Fryeberg Fair, hike the numerous nearby trails, marvel in nature's beauty during the peak of leaf season, or search for the perfect antique for your home. And for the adventurous, try your hand a Spring skiing or white water rafting. You can even go bargain shopping and hit the outlets in nearby North Conway, New Hampshire, where you can purchase your treasures tax free! The Lake Region of Maine has something for everyone.

This house was perfect for our family of 6. Clean, warm, and well-stocked in a great neighborhood that is very dog friendly. The landlord is very professional, pleasant, and honest/fair and the rate is very reasonable. We rented by the month and were so happy not to have to lug skis and winter clothing back and forth every weekend. Bridgton is a great driving distance from the Boston area (2.5-3hrs) and Shawnee Peak is the perfect family ski area. Trails for all level skiers, consistent snow and snow-making, great instructors at affordable rates, and a family season pass that is very economical. Highly recommend The Campfire Grill for family dinners out. Consistent quality, great specials, nice atmosphere, and well run with live entertainment on weekends. We had a wonderful Winter. Thank you!!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family and I have vacationed at this home for a week every summer for the past 3 years. It has all the amenities you will need. A well stocked kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a washer and dryer make it easy vacation living. Plenty of room for a family of 6-8. Close enough to walk to the sandy beach and only a short ride to the beautiful swimming pull. Both of which have a club house with changing rooms. Only a 15 min ride to the drive in or Magic Lantern movie theater in Bridgton and a quick 25 minutes to shopping in North Conway.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

About the owner: We love Maine and Maine Treasure. And nothing gives us more satisfaction than sharing Maine Treasure with others who enjoy Maine's Lake Region and all it has to offer. While we like to keep active and love to ski in the winter and fish, boat, swim and hike in the summer, we still like to be comfortable and enjoy all the modern amenities in our house. Maine Treasure fits this bill!
Why the Owner Chose Bridgton:
We have several family members who live in the Lake Region full-time, and parents who spend Summers in the area. We chose the Knights Hill Area of Bridgton due to its close proximity to Shawnee Peak Ski Resort in the Winter, and Moose Pond with its beach front access in the Summer. Add in the wonderful pool and tennis courts available to Knights Hill residents, our house truly fits the bill for all season fun, while remaining quiet and serene.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Everything is close by, even though our house is quiet and comfortable. Skiing is 5 minutes away, Bridgton Town is a 15 minute drive, tax free outlet shopping in New Hampshire is 30 minutes away, and hiking trails and proximity to mountain tops views surround you. It is just perfect.
