It was wonderful to leave the world behind and have the honeymoon I was dreaming of since I was a young girl. It was so nice to get away from the big city and be in nature and still have indoor pool access and the comforts of home.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We found The Healing Cabin to be nice and quiet. I would probably not recommend more than a party of six adults, as eight and a child was a little snug. We did enjoy the golf course, the swimming pool, jacuzzi, the hiking trails, bicycling, and the general atmosphere. The cabin was clean and the price was reasonable compared to comps. In the area. The deck was good sized for BBQ or for just relaxing and enjoying the view. For a relaxing time, I would definitely reccomend for a family or friends get away. We brought our own food, but the appetizers and service at the Stone Ridge Golf course was great!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Recently stayed at the cabin and enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately the cabin was only available for two nights... Pleasantly surprised with the neighbourhood including the golf course, swimming pool, walking paths, etc. Nice to enjoy a coffee first thing in the morning on the deck with a nice view... Would recommend this cabin for sure. Silverwood Theme Park was very close to this location as well which the kids loved.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful time in north Idaho! Two days at Silverwood and one lovely day relaxing with a bbq on the very large deck with a wonderful view. Our group included 4 adults and 2 grown children and we were perfectly comfortable. It is also nice having some money left in our pockets, as this is a very affordable vacation rental. This was our 4th annual trip to Stoneridge and we loved staying at the cabin. The great room and deck are wonderful. Our visit to the healing cabin was fabulous! We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful setting and it gave us the perfect opportunity to unwind and relax. The cabin was clean, homey and well maintained. We could tell the owners put a lot of thought and personality into the decor. The singing fish on the wall caught us off guard a couple of times and gave us a good laugh! We enjoyed the rec center and walking the trails surrounding the cabin. The cabin is a nice distance from the surrounding towns - far enough away that it is easy to relax, yet close enough that we could run into town and still enjoy our day or even make a day trip of site seeing and be back in the early evening without feeling rushed. We highly recommend the healing cabin. Our only regret is that we were only able to stay for a couple of days.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great stay at the healing cabin, lots to do around there. We went golfing, fishing, swimming and played pickle ball within the resort. The cabin was bigger than we thought, wish there was a better set up for internet and better garbage pick up. The rooms were a little hot at night, there is only a window air conditioner and the fan in the master bedroom makes a loud noise. Loved the huge deck, washer and dryer, and the large sitting area. Overall we had a great experience.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children.

Nice cabin nestled in the woods with a beautiful view of the lake. Beautiful golf course within walking distance. Silverwood is only 30 mins away. We had a great time and look foward to going back next year!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Our family will definetly be planning to stay again! We had enjoyed Silverwood Theme Park for 2 days, while staying at the cabin, and inbetween had some relaxation and fun at the cabin, which was in a great location overlooking the lake!! The cabin was perfect for families, as it had everything we needed :) I loved hanging out on the deck, relaxing, bbq'ing, playing board games, and enjoying the scenery with the kids. Our yellow lab also enjoyed swimming in the lake, and hiking with the family. What a great location! Can't wait to plan our next adventure there :)Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed at the healing cabin in Blanchard Id for the winter months. We loved our stay there, my kids loved the pool. We all did. The Chambers family made sure if there was any issues, they were taking care of. We were sad to leave because of the peace and quiet around there and all the activites that are so close by. We do miss it and will be back for a stay. Thanks guys we love the healing cabin.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing.

About the owner: We are Mike and DuAnn Chambers. We are regular working Americans, we run a grooming school, and a contracting business. We need a great place to retreat! We love having a spacious healing space to go to for some time off! We love the fact the all our guests love the cabin too! Where else could we have, a quiet lake, fun fishing, woods atmosphere, golf, swimming, hottubbing, restaurants, workout rooms, raquetball, and more within a 5 minute walk? We love Stoneridge Resort and Community.
Why the Owner Chose Blanchard:
We bought 'The Healing Cabin' as a golf retreat where we both intended to use Stoneridge Golf Course every summer. We found that every time we went to the cabin, we FELT BETTER both emotionally and physically. We love being there and really have a hard time leaving. We still haven't learned to play golf, but we have done plenty of relaxing, fishing, swimming, canoeing, hot-tubbing, roller blading, and sledding. 30 minutes to shopping or Silverwood Theme Park
