Have stayed at this cabin on several occasions, and have yet to be disappointed. The cabin is clean and neat(with some nice art). The yard and flowerbeds are lovely(there's even a small vegetable garden out back). The view out the master bedroom window-a perfect way to start the day. This cabin is within 10 minutes of Linville and Newland, secluded and very quiet. It's within 20 minutes of some really great restaurants(we particularly like the Knife and Fork, in Spruce Pine). This is a jewel.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

My family (my husband, myself, and our 6-year-old twins) stayed in this cute cabin last summer. What a peaceful location yet so convenient to many fun activities for our family. Exactly as described! We spent one day visiting Linville Falls and Linville Caverns. And another day visiting Grandfather Mountain... both short (and scenic) drives away. Our children loved exploring and walking along the quiet road leading to the cabin and gathering wildflowers for the kitchen table. We'll definitely return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
