This charming home is in the quaint neighborhood of Crystal Beach, known for its seaside-styled cottages and white picket fences, and has the look and feel of the sea. All at your fingertips are the most beautiful beaches in the world, by way of the Crystal Beach beach access that is only two short blocks away.
Warm tropical colors welcome you into the wide-open great room and kitchen, and both the front porch and back deck are perfect for enjoying the lush Florida landscape and sea breezes. With three bedrooms and two full baths, this cottage has a spacious family room with vaulted ceilings. Cable TV is available in all 3 bedrooms and living area, with 70 channels, as well as 2 new DVD-VCR players and and 2 DVD players, with an assortment of complimentary movies for you to view. And if you must stay connected to the world-wide web, free high-speed internet access is provided. The interior decor is tastefully furnished the way we would want it to be if we were vacationing there, because we want you to come back, year after year, to your place in Paradise!
After a day soaking in the sun at the beach, cool off in your own private pool, or take in the many other amenities located two short blocks from our cottage, such as the renowned Destin Commons, with its 75 plus stores, including the new 55,000 square foot Bass Pro Shop, Ann Taylor, Abercrombie, the renowned Hard Rock Cafe, the Rave Motion Picture theater, and the Publix grocery store, to name but a few. The Destin Commons has received over 19 million visitors so far in 2009! If golfing is your "bag", treat yourself to any of the 15 finest, world-class golf courses available, such as Kelly Plantation, Regatta Bay, 4 courses in Sandestin, and Camp Creek.
The Destin Harbor is minutes away for deep sea fishing, snorkeling, boating and jet-skiing. The harbor is your gateway to the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico! And how about the many fine eateries serving up their fresh catch of the day (many are withing walking distance from our cottage). Close by are Big Kahuna's Waterpark, Sandestin Resort, Silver Sands Outlet Mall, The Track, and the Gulfarium. Good times will be had by the whole family!

Why the Owner Chose Crystal Beach
Unbeknown to me when I purchased this home, which only had one other owner previously, the location of Windsong is ideal. It is strategically located within a 2 block radius of so many wonderful amenities, including of course, the beautiful beach and a dedicated Crystal Beach beach access, to the Destin Commons Open Air Mall with its famous 49-head "pop-up" fountain and outdoor playground, to over 30 restaurants, and a Publix GROCERY store!
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
Windsong By The Sea offers a wonderful front porch experience, as you relax and watch the world go by. Interesting people from states near and far, as well as from other countries(!), stroll by on the sidewalks of the seaside neighborhood of Crystal Beach. Many have their canine companions out with them so all can stretch their legs in the gulf breeze. It is such a magical place and you just want time to stand still!
Windsong also offers a private pool and complimentary high-speed Internet access.

Hi, I'm Terri Julian. I first purchased Windsong in 1999 with dreams of owning my own little piece of paradise in Destin, FL. I lived in my dream home for three wonderful years before getting married and moving back to my home town of Little Rock, AR. I couldn't bear the thought of selling the home, and since it is only 2 blocks from the beach, I installed a pool on my lot, and I began renting Windsong By The Sea out on a short-term basis back in 2004. I travel to back to Destin on a 4 or 5 times a year, and the minute I walk through the front door my heart stirs with nostalgia and affection. I love this home, and I continue to pour sweat and love into it in hopes that it just as charming to you as it is to me.

We all enjoyed Windsong by the Sea. The location was great ! The beach was an easy walk. The home was very comfortable and had was stock with all that we needed. All of us agreed that we made a good choice by staying here. Thanks Terri for the use of your vacation home. Hope to come back again.

We just loved Windsong bt the Sea! The neighborhood was nice. It was just a short two block walk to the beach and everyone in the neighborhood walked. We loved that we were able to bring our dogs with us. The gate around the property was fantastic, because the dogs could be loose in the yard. We all spent hours in the pool and enjoyed it as much as the beach! The enclosure around the pool was also nice so that we could have the dogs with us there and didn't have to worry about them. The house layout was perfect. Very comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Even the barbecue was great! We would definitely love to stay again. The week went by too fast! Thanks so much Terri! We really enjoyed our stay at Windsong and the location was terrific. Very close to all the shopping and a nice walk to the beautiful beach. Dear Terri and Julian, Please allow me to personally take the time to thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. We found the house very unique and comfortable. The home was very clean and it had all the necessities needed for a vacation stay. We loved that we could sit outside and watch the kids swim while we enjoyed the grill. It was a wonderful experience and we could not ask for more. The area is very quite and the kids had a wonderful time. The walk to the beach which is about 2 blocks down was a wonderful experience as we viewed the lovely surrounding areas of other homes. We discovered the outlet mall which was just 8 miles down and had lots of fun shopping. We loved your home and would gladly return. We hope we can visit again next year. With Love, The Loza's.

We stayed at this great house in Aug 07 and could not have asked for a better place to stay - other than maybe if it was in Hawaii - but we can't have everything! Terri was a dream to work with and literally there was not one thing we could have complained about! The pictures of this property do not lie! My husband, 2 almost adult kiddos & our beagle felt so welcomed and the community was fantastic!

We could not have asked for more, the house was great!!! The location is a dream. We were a short walk from the beach, which was beautiful, I grew up in Florida and will take Destin anyday!! We brought our dog, and even though we could not take him on the beach the house is located in a wonderful neighborhood perfect for walks... We can not wait to come back!!!!
