We rented both units for a week while visiting family in the area and were very happy with the rentals. The location is excellent - easy driving to downtown SF, but right by the beach with Adirondack chairs to enjoy the surf from the front porch and a fire pit to warm the air at night. We even saw a baby whale swimming right in front of us. Walks along the beach and up into the headlands are just out the door. The units were spotless, the beds amazingly comfortable, the kitchens well stocked, and the owners helpful and accomodating. I would definitely recommend the rental.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

This was the perfect place for us to stay while we waited for closing on our new Pacifica home. Very well equipped with everything one would need, very clean, and the bed was the most comfortable one we have ever slept in. Location right on the ocean front is spectacular and convenient for walking trails, shops, and trips into SF. Owners most pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend the property to a friend or relative, or to anyone interested in a vacation in this area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Couple in their 60's spent a week here and used it as a base to visit San Francisco and its environs, plus a day trip to wine country. Very comfortable unit with adequate amenities. Electric cooking, home-sized refrigerator were perfect since we have to prepare all our meals due to medical reasons. Owners upstairs were there when we needed them, but definitely let us have our privacy. Covered parking is especially nice due to spray from waves breaking just a few yards away. Sound of the waves put us to sleep every night, which is wonderful. Bed has pillow top mattress, which took a bit of getting used to, but by third night, no issue. Unit was virtually immaculate when we arrived, and with the cordless vacuum and broom, it was easy to keep kitchen floor relatively clean. Plenty of closet space with mirror doors, but if there is one thing missing, it is a flat surface in the bathroom. Wife had to put hand towel in sink to have place for blow dryer between uses. Compact toilet has odd shaped lid, so not usable as flat surface, plus pedestal sink with no counter. If we were going to live there, it would be the first thing to correct. Well, that's it for the complaint department. Not too bad, right? Yes, we would stay again, but would probably bring a piece of 3/8" plywood to put on the bathroom sink. Hope you can enjoy it too.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We have just returned from a week at this wonderful location. Chris was so helpful - she asked what we wanted for our first breakfast and had the fridge stocked with cereal, fruit, milk and coffee when we arrived. She knew that we were coming to view the U.S. Open Golf, and even printed out instructions for us to get to the location!. The ocean is right across a small street, and it was mesmerizing to watch the waves either from the living room or the deck. The bed was super comfortable, and the location was very quiet at night. The bus to the BART is only about a seven minute walk, we used it every day that we went to see the golf. I would highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

it is just as beautiful as the pictures. very clean and serene modern well equiped apartment. and there are some cute restaraunts and shops and bars within walking distanceRecommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.

I spent a very peaceful week at one of these apartments after having major surgery and in need of a quiet place where I could recover. The fresh, clean sea air and the hypnotic sounds of the waves lulling me to sleep every night were just the right medicine. You cannot get a better proximity to the ocean anywhere, it is right outside the door! The place was well equipped with everything one could need in a home away from home setting. The owners are very friendly and even had me up for a delicious brunch one morning! Although I was mostly resting, there is a great boardwalk right out the door and a great beach walk, or hike if you want to adventure further. Great proximity to the airport, San Francisco and more.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
