A sunny newly restored apartment on the 4th floor of a 17th century Venetian palace with the typical wood beam ceiling and traditional Venetian marble chip flooring.
It offers a full view on Venetian roofs and domes from every room and especially from the lounge room.
There’s a private balcony where you can have your breakfast or an aperitif in front of a unique panorama.
Because the Palace and its stairs are very old there is no elevator.
It is comfortable and fully equipped with all the necessary appliances, it is situated in a peaceful corner of the city: Fondamenta della Misericordia (Cannaregio), in the historical downtown still untouched by massive tourism.
It is within easy reach of traditional Venetian restaurants and public boat transportation services (Madonna dell'Orto and S. Marcuola). It is also very close to airport shuttle service (Guglie or Madonna dell'Orto). Tourist destinations are in very close proximity and the Rialto Bridge is only 10 minutes away on foot.
It is located in the heart of Venice, between the Railway station and the famous Rialto Bridge: it is a starting point for all the most important tourists sites of the city, of its neighbourhood and the Venetian lagoon; nearby the beautiful Madonna dell’Orto Church, the Ca D’oro and the Tintoretto's home are worth the visit.

Just renovated, so absolutely clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view from the windows and the terrace over Venetian rooftops. There's an outdoor table where you can have breakfast with a unique feel. The apartment is extremely beautiful and charming.

We stayed in this apartment for 4 nights. It was located in a nice neighborhood (quiet) and within close walking distance to all major attractions. There was a grocery store within blocks to stock up on water or other necessary items. Anna was very helpful when checking in by providing several restaurants to try, of which all were fantastic, and a general overview of the area. The rooms were large and comfortable. There is a washer in the room which was a nice feature to have. The only negative one could imagine is if one does not like stairs, then the 4 flights up to the room might be a bit much, but if you plan on being out and about the whole day like we were, it was no big deal. If you come and leave by train, the apartment is but maybe a 5-10 minute walk from the station. Thank you again Anna for making our stay memorable and being flexible enough to meet us at the water stop and help us find the apartment!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Madonna dell' Orto church View on map
The church was erected by the now-defunct religious order, the "Humiliati" in the mid-14th century. The interior has a nave and two aisles, The transept is absent, while in the rear is a pentagonal apse decorated by paintings by Jacobo Robusti, known as Tintoretto, who is buried here. The organ over the entrance was built in 1878, and is one of the most powerful in Venice. At an altar to the south/right of the main entrance is St. John Baptist and Saints by Cima da Conegliano, and in the fourth chapel on the North/left facing the main altar, the Contarini Chapel, there is a notable St. Agnes by Tintoretto.
