Never rented before this year, was our winter home for past 12 years. Longboat Key won the Conde Nast Traveler 2010 Reader's Choice Award as the 2nd top island in North America. You may pay a little more than other places but enjoy a finer quality of life while you are on vacation.
This building is at the preferred location on Longboat Key- it is at the south end and only 10 minutes to all of the quality isophisticated activities in Sarasota yet very private off the main street and "behind the gates".
This handsomely furnished 2400 square foot apartment (the photos tell it all) with open split floor plan has 2 bedrooms and convertible den/ 3rd bedroom (pull out sofa) with closet and hidden curtained doorway, sleeps 6 with 3 full bathrooms. Jacuzzi in master bath.The eat-in kitchen with a lovely early morning sunrise view over a cup of coffee and the master bedroom built in desk wit a magnificent view of the beach while you sit there and correspond/ work are additional bonuses.
We are perfectly located on the south end of Longboat Key. You want to be located at the south end of this 11 mile long island, because while very peaceful ( when you sit on the beach you feel you could be on a Caribbean island) it is then just a short 5 minute drive to wonderful restaurants and shopping on famous St. Armands Circle and only 10 minutes to downtown Sarasota with its shops, galleries, restaurants. and the very finest cultural activities of southwest Florida. Good golf courses nearby. Educational center on Longboat Key for drop in adult classes. So much to do in this active, energetic area, or just kick off your shoes and enjoy the wonderful sun and beach. Building requires 3 month minimum lease. Shorter periods not available.
